I encountered an issue on Twitter when trying to follow an inspirational account. A message appeared, stating I had exceeded my daily follow limit, despite having a quota of [redacted]+. Today, I only followed around 5 accounts, which makes this restriction puzzling since I typically use Twitter to seek inspiration and updates, not for gaining followers. With fewer than [redacted] followers and currently following 5,[redacted] accounts, I usually add 5-10 new follows monthly. This is the first time I have faced such a predicament on Twitter, and I am unsure why this occurred given my usage pattern. It seems unusual for Twitter to place restrictions on following accounts for maintaining site reliability.

I've been struggling to reset my password for months. Whenever I provide my email and phone number, no verification code is sent to my phone. The email link I receive just outlines the steps to reset the password again, instead of providing the actual link. It's frustrating to keep going through the same non-working steps. I believe my account was mistakenly suspended a year ago. Despite multiple appeals, I keep receiving a standard form response from Twitter stating I engaged in "hateful" behavior, which I am positive I did not do. As a 68-year-old female attorney, such actions are completely out of character for me. I suspect there may have been an error, misinterpretation by an algorithm, or even a fabricated report by someone malicious (perhaps related to my assistance in resolving an account hijacking issue involving a false trademark application).

I got logged out of my account unexpectedly, and despite this, I keep getting notifications on my phone. Unfortunately, I can't recall my password, and I didn't link any email or phone number to my account. Twitter mentioned they can't verify my ownership, which makes me anxious about losing my friends and valuable data on the account. I simply aim to add an email to the account to enable password reset. If you're unable to assist, that's alright; I've exhausted my options.

I received an email notification from Twitter informing me that both my email and password have been changed, indicating that my account has been compromised. Despite reaching out to Twitter support for assistance, they have been unable to help since the email associated with my account has been altered. This is concerning as my Twitter account, @monkrymonkry, is a business account that I have used since [redacted] to promote the video games I create. Unfortunately, the responses I have been receiving from Twitter support have been unhelpful automated messages. The most recent response stated, "We're unable to verify you as the account owner. You are more than welcome to make a new Twitter account." This is frustrating, especially considering the account compromise occurred on 11/09/[redacted] after maintaining the account for over a decade.

I am unable to access my Twitter account without linking it to my Google or Apple password or creating a new account. I chose to log in with my Apple password, but the next day I received an email from Twitter stating I had a new account with the username @DianeColiz and a different email address linked to it. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this by filling out forms, Twitter sends generic emails that do not address the hacker issue. I even tried submitting my ID, but it was not accepted. I have since changed my Twitter and Apple passwords, yet I continue to receive emails from Twitter displaying the hacker's email address. It is frustrating that my efforts to communicate this issue are not being understood.

My account has been hacked, and the hackers still have control over all my electronic devices. Despite setting up secure email accounts worldwide, the situation persists. Microsoft holds 25 years of my digital data in OneDrive, but due to lack of access to my email and phone number, I'm unable to retrieve it. The hackers accessed my account on the 15th and may have uploaded data that could be harmful if downloaded. I'm actively working towards regaining control of my digital life.

Since [redacted], I have been an active user on Twitter without any issues until recently. I encountered a problem when I got logged out of my account and found that it was associated with an unfamiliar email address starting with "Ne...". Despite my efforts to log in using my email or phone number, Twitter doesn't recognize them, only my username. Despite filing several reports, Twitter has only sent me standard responses without resolving the issue. Creating a new account is not an option for me as I am a musician with a dedicated fan base on Twitter. My apps are linked to [redacted], and I also have [redacted] (used by my husband) and [redacted] (connected to my website but rarely used). I don't have any other email addresses.

Hello, I am experiencing a permanent suspension of my Twitter account, and the given explanation is not clear. Whenever I appeal, it seems automated as I receive the same response without any consideration of the context I provide. If a real person could review my case, they would see that my tweet criticizing the ANC, a political party, is not promoting violence against any individual based on race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or disease. The ANC is the government of South Africa, not a person. It's essential to differentiate between political criticism and personal attacks. I believe in free speech and the right to criticize the government. Please assist me in reaching out to a real person for clarification. Thank you.

Hello,*I believe my Twitter account has been permanently suspended unjustly. When I appeal, I seem to receive automated responses that do not take into account the context I provide. If only I could communicate with a real person, I am sure this misunderstanding could be resolved. For instance, I tweeted about the ANC in this manner: "The ANC are going full throttle internally now... never go full throttle in public. lol. @MYANC You dying, accept it." It seems Twitter is alleging that I promoted violence based on race or other protected characteristics, but the ANC is a political entity, not an individual. How is this inciting violence or targeting any specific group? I feel my freedom of speech is being curtailed when I criticize a government entity. Can someone please help me address this issue and connect with a human representative? I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello, I am writing to address the suspension of my Twitter account, @steadysole, which has been inactive for 8 months due to alleged violation of the “ban evasion” policy. Despite understanding the concern, I must clarify that @steadysole is the only account associated with my registered business, Steady Soles LLC. In April, when this account was suspended along with a few others, all were linked to my phone number ([redacted]), as they belonged to either personal or other business endeavors. These accounts were not created to bypass Twitter rules. Twitter's guidelines outline reasons for policy breaches: - No prior permanent suspensions exist, so there was no circumvention. - There were no attempts to evade suspensions, enforcement actions, or anti-spam challenges. - No circumvention occurred by having others operate the account. - No suspended individuals had access to operate my account. - The account did not imitate a previously suspended one. I am a young entrepreneur reliant on social media like Twitter to grow my business. I value the community connections I have built. This suspension, likely triggered by an error, has been detrimental. If there is a way to rectify this situation, kindly advise, as I miss engaging with my community on Twitter. My Twitter account got suspended indefinitely for allegedly being hateful, but I strongly disagree with their decision. I have solid evidence to prove my innocence. There is a UFC fighter named Darren Till known as the "Gorilla" on Twitter. I innocently used this nickname on my account @Spurs4Life77, and as a result, got banned. Despite multiple appeals, Twitter refuses to listen and insists on not reinstating my account. This ordeal has been distressing for me, especially because I struggle with mental health issues. My Twitter account was a source of comfort and joy for me as I could engage with my heroes on the platform. Losing this outlet has left me feeling unhappy and isolated. I would appreciate any assistance or guidance on resolving this issue.

I have encountered this issue multiple times. Recently, I took the step to secure my account due to suspicious activity. After receiving a security code and confirmation that my account was safe, I logged in without needing the code, only to find more content deleted from my Twitter account. Earlier this year, Twitter carried out a mass suspension that affected me and my friends, leaving us with suspended accounts without clear reasons. My account was suspended for spam/platform manipulation, primarily due to interacting with another account by retweeting or quoting posts. I was also accused of evading suspension on two other accounts simultaneously, even though they were pre-existing. Despite trying to comply by using a private account for work and changing my display name, I got suspended immediately. Repeated appeals explaining the situation have been met with automated messages stating permanent suspension. I have an ongoing issue since [redacted] that I would like to bring to your attention. I have been an active Twitter user since [redacted] under the handle @Just_Abou. In [redacted], I began sharing humorous content on the platform, which gained popularity locally. Despite my positive interactions, I encountered backlash from individuals who maliciously reported my tweets. This led to a sudden suspension due to mass reporting based on misinterpretations of my jokes, particularly those related to my Arab heritage, unfairly associating them with terrorism. While losing access to my account was not a major concern, the inability to create a new one has impacted my communication with family and friends since [redacted]. Twitter was also an essential outlet for me to cope with depression stemming from severe PTSD and ADHD, as it provided a platform for interaction and news updates.
