I have been trying to appeal my case with Twitter support, but have only received brief responses stating they cannot assist me. Twitter is important to me as a source of entertainment and personal memories. On March 25, my account was hacked, and unauthorized ads were posted. I have always followed Twitter's guidelines and am seeking a solution beyond the generic suspension notice I received. I am concerned about the status of my account and how long the suspension will last. Mainly, I am desperate to retrieve my photos, even if my account cannot be restored.

Dear Mr/Mrs, I am writing to report an issue with my Twitter account. In [redacted], my account @Halshehei was deactivated, and I have been unable to access it since. Recently, I discovered that someone else has been using my account, using my photos for their profile and banner, posting inappropriate and false news about Middle East celebrities. When I attempted to regain access, I found that the password and email had been changed. In [redacted], I established my Twitter account, which I have used consistently for the past seven years. Today, I noticed that my birthdate on my profile was inaccurate, prompting me to update it. After saving the changes, a notification appeared, informing me that my account had been locked for violating Twitter's regulations. I realized that when I initially set up my account at 12 years old, I incorrectly entered my birth year, making me under the required age of 13. Now at 18 years old, this oversight as a child has resulted in my account being locked. To unlock it, I was instructed to complete a form and submit a valid form of identification. Despite my attempts, I am encountering difficulties uploading a photo of my ID as the link provided seems to be malfunctioning. As Twitter holds great significance to me, being a daily source of joy with seven years of memories, I am anxious about the possibility of losing access to it permanently. My account was suspended on April 8. I have opened multiple support tickets on this issue and submitted a copy of my driver's license for age verification. However, I have not received any response and am still locked out of my account. I am eager to regain access to it. I am currently 17 years old, born on August 31, [redacted], with my initial account created in July [redacted]. I am willing to authorize the removal of any data on my Twitter account before August 31, [redacted], such as tweets, likes, and DMs sent on my behalf. Alternatively, if my account is reinstated, I will handle the data removal myself. I urgently request the restoration of my account as I rely on Twitter to connect with college coaches for recruitment. The suspension has put me at a significant disadvantage. While I understand the reason for the suspension, I assure you I have not violated any Twitter rules previously and will continue to adhere to them in the future. I created an account to engage with others on the platform, following users and liking posts. However, I soon encountered an issue where my account was locked due to excessive liking activity. When I tried to verify my phone number, I received an error message stating it was already in use, which is normal as I use it for all my accounts. Despite this, I was unable to use it for this account. Upon seeking help from Twitter customer support, I faced challenges switching to the account needing assistance as the action was consistently labeled as invalid when I clicked on the link. I am unsure why I am encountering these obstacles and simply seek guidance on verifying my account and regaining access to it. Could my phone number usage across multiple accounts be the cause of this issue?

I created my Twitter account when I was turning 13 in [redacted], so I had to input a fake birth year. I realize now it was a mistake, but as a young fan of One Direction, I needed to support them on Twitter. I continued using the account faithfully until February [redacted]. Wanting to make my account more accurate, I decided to update my birth year. Unfortunately, Twitter flagged me for providing false information years ago and requested my ID. I complied, believing they were verifying my age as 18, not realizing they were checking if I was underage when creating the account. This issue has affected my friends too. I am hopeful there might be a way to recover my account, considering the sentimental value of 7 years' worth of content. I find it unfair that my account was deactivated abruptly when I am now 19 and truthful about my age. I seek a resolution from Twitter and hope for a response soon. A while back, I created a Twitter account that has since become inactive and is being accessed by someone else. The account retains an embarrassing picture of me from my younger days. I wish to have the account terminated or ideally have the picture removed to avoid it showing up on Google search results when my name is looked up. Although I cannot recall the password, I believe the email linked to the account is [redacted], which I still have access to. Despite being unable to find the account through a username search, it remains visible when my name is Googled. I am prepared to provide any necessary identification to prove my ownership. Hello, could someone assist me, please? I’m feeling very anxious and overwhelmed at the moment. Recently, I added my birthdate to my Twitter bio, and as a result, my account got locked. It turns out that when I created the account back in [redacted], I was underage. Now that I am 20, it’s frustrating to be locked out of my account due to an age issue from years ago. I really want to regain access to my account. I tried reaching out via email through the app, but it hasn’t been helpful. I attempted to upload a picture of my ID as requested to verify my age, but the image upload keeps failing. I even tried following the instructions provided to unlock my account using my phone number, but I couldn’t find the specified "start" button. My account under the username al@moyohair has been locked since April 17th due to an error in entering the business start date as a birthdate, resulting in the account being blocked because the business is actually 12 years old. I promptly uploaded a copy of my passport showing my correct birthdate of 23/3/[redacted] and submitted an appeal. I received an email from Twitter support on April 17th at 22:15 with the following message: Twitter Case #[redacted] Hello, Thank you for providing your ID. Our team will verify that you meet the minimum age requirement for managing your account at its creation. We will contact you once this process is complete with further instructions. Please note that no additional requests for this account will be considered. Thank you, Twitter Since then, I have not received any updates. Assistance would be greatly appreciated. I've recently noticed that my tweets are no longer appearing in my followers' feeds, even though they can find my account through the search bar. It seems like Twitter may have shadow banned me without any notification. I suspect this might be due to my frequent use of the hashtag #AmazonWishList, which I've been using to organize gift-giving during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. I find it disheartening that a platform meant for spreading kindness would take this action without any communication.

Hello Twitter Community, I am encountering several technical challenges that are not addressed in the FAQs. Despite having new followers, I am unable to follow them back due to Twitter's restrictions. The platform advises me to unfollow those who don't follow me, but it limits the list of people I can view, hindering my ability to identify non-followers. This limitation makes it challenging to maintain mutual connections. When I check my notifications on my phone, the feed jumps to the latest ones abruptly, making it difficult to read through them all. This lack of scroll lock disrupts my reading experience. Is there a way to prevent this sudden jump in the feed so I can smoothly go through my notifications? I have tried to seek technical support via phone but realized Twitter doesn't offer a hotline. My concerns go beyond what FAQs cover, and having a 1-[redacted] number for assistance would be beneficial. Due to these issues, I lost around 2,[redacted] followers out of my 10,[redacted]. Is there a way to regain them since the problem lies with Twitter's restrictions on following back?
