Hello, I'm contacting you on behalf of Mizzou College Democrats (@mizzoudems) regarding their Twitter account, which has unfortunately been locked. As this is a student organization with annual leadership changes, I took over as the admin for the Twitter account in January this year. When attempting to add a birth date for verification purposes, I was prompted to use my own birth date, even though the account is not personal. The account was actually created by the executive board in [redacted] and has changed hands each year. The account was locked due to an age discrepancy as I was only 12 at the time of creation in [redacted]. During the appeal process, I selected the option that best matched my situation, indicating that the account was previously managed by a parent or adult administrator. However, there was no direct option for my specific scenario where someone new takes over an existing account. I kindly request the prompt reinstatement of the account.

Hello Twitter Support, I am reaching out to report several accounts that engage in abusive behavior on this platform. These accounts all belong to a single individual, and they are as follows: @CEOjichu @CEOchaee @JenlisaCEO @CEOrubyjane @bpfags @bpcultes @ceochaeng @CEOjensoo @CEOjenlisa @ceolisoo These accounts have been promoting harmful messages, including calling for violence against me and the community I am part of. They also exhibit insensitivity by making offensive comments about countries facing tragedies like the recent earthquakes in the Philippines and Sri Lanka. I kindly request you to review and suspend these accounts. Additionally, if possible, blocking the IP address associated with this individual could prevent them from creating new accounts. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I await your response.

I need help accessing my Twitter account (@nikkimzimmer) since it was locked due to me being under 13 years old when it was created. My dad managed the account initially until I was of age, and now it's under my control. My dad attempted to submit the appeal form sent to his email along with a copy of his ID, but encountered an error message stating "Oops, you do not have access to this page" when trying to complete the submission. We are unsure if the form and ID were successfully submitted, leaving me uncertain about unlocking my account. I am hoping Twitter can resolve this issue by either unlocking my account without the form if it didn't go through, or by providing an alternative method to submit the required documentation (e.g., through my dad's Twitter account).

I replied to a friend's tweet where I jokingly mentioned harming them, but the friend was not upset about it. They can confirm this. I realize the seriousness of such comments. It's just surprising that my account got permanently banned for this, especially considering the presence of individuals on Twitter making harmful remarks without consequences, including verified accounts in the American government.

I would like to bring your attention to a concerning situation in Ecuador. The government, represented by [redacted], is allegedly targeting individuals and accounts that criticize the government, impacting freedom of speech in the country. Major newspapers seem to be biased in favor of the government, omitting negative information. Social media has become crucial for expressing dissent. There are reports of accounts, even non-political ones, being suspended for opposing government actions, such as my friend who discussed the Education law. It is essential to review cases thoroughly before suspending accounts to prevent the suppression of differing opinions. The people of Ecuador need support to safeguard their freedom of speech. Let's stand together to protect this fundamental right.

I am quite displeased that my account got blocked. I am unsure who complained, as I have never used inappropriate language or made threats, unlike others on Twitter, including some politicians. While I may have pointed out their shortcomings, they freely express disrespectful remarks towards the President, for whom people voted. It seems unjust that they can be vulgar while I can't call out a few individuals. I find it shocking that even the media, comedians, movie stars, and party leaders make graphic comments without repercussions. It's time for us all to act more maturely and set a better example, rather than hiding behind false kindness. The United States is a wonderful country, and I believe in its people. If you think otherwise, perhaps living elsewhere would change your perspective. I feel unfairly treated by a biased complainant or perhaps Twitter itself. - MAC @realitycheck215

A former employee unlawfully accessed the company's Twitter account, altered the email, password, and phone number, then deactivated the account. I have supplied verification through my phone number (previously linked to the account), two different emails associated with the account within the last 6 months, and a confirmation email from our company's domain to verify ownership. Despite providing all the necessary verification to Twitter promptly, they have declined to reactivate and restore our corporate Twitter account. Edit: Uncertain how to mark this issue as unresolved, but evidently, even complying with all of Twitter's requests does not suffice to recover a hacked account if the hacker changed the email to an undisclosed one. Our company account, active for nearly 2 years, has been lost, not due to the hacker's actions, but due to Twitter's inadequacy.

I updated my date of birth to the correct year as I made it before I was of age. Unfortunately, now I'm locked out of my account after mistakenly selecting the wrong option when prompted. I intended to choose the option indicating a parent or guardian assisted me, not the one where I entered the incorrect year. The system is now requesting government identification, which I don't possess. Can I submit my birth certificate instead? Even if I do, it will still display the incorrect year due to my selection error. I find this situation frustrating. Losing access to my account would be a huge loss since it holds years of memories and connections. Starting anew isn't an appealing option. I hope this matter gets resolved promptly. Thank you for addressing this and avoiding any delays.

There is a Twitter user who has evaded suspension seven times by repeatedly violating Twitter's Terms of Service. He creates new accounts such as @thaguesttweets, @theguesttweets, @lyrical_praise, @theprinceofpa, @LPIsaacGuest, @lpforgod, and @blackandgoldmob to post private information, harass, stalk, and abuse other users, in addition to his YouTube account BeOurGuest. His latest account is called Pastor Guest @BOGNotorious. He claims to have others create accounts for him to circumvent the IP Ban.

I am experiencing harassment from the user @knifemeat. I have blocked them, but the harassment continues. They are posting about me and mocking me along with their friends. Today, they shared private screenshots of our DMs where I disclosed sensitive information about my mental health after they had caused me to have a panic attack. They are now portraying themselves as the victim and encouraging people to retweet the screenshots. This bullying is severely impacting my mental health, and I feel tormented. I urgently need assistance to address this situation as it is adding further distress to my already challenging mental health issues.

Issue: I have an outdated Twitter account with my full name that I no longer want attributed to me. Despite my inability to access this account due to a discontinued email, it still shows up in Google searches under my name. I am "Darren Vanstaen" and can verify that the gamer tag "Sgt_Strikezz" is associated with my PlayStation Network account. I've reached out to Twitter support, receiving responses insisting that deactivation can only be done by the confirmed account holder. I am not seeking deactivation; rather, I want the account "@Sgt_Strikezz" to no longer display my full name as it does not align with Twitter's guidelines.

Last year, my account got locked when I tried to update my birth date to January 21, [redacted]. Twitter flagged me for being under 13 when the account was created. I contacted Twitter, provided my ID to verify my age, and they agreed to reinstate my account after deleting pre-13 tweets. It's been five months, and despite multiple follow-ups, I haven't heard back. I really need access to my old account with valuable photos. Twitter previously acknowledged their agreement with me.

After updating my birth date to clarify that I am over 13 years old, my Twitter account got locked due to a violation of the rules that prohibit accounts created by individuals under 13. Unfortunately, I was unaware of this rule as my sister helped me set up the account in [redacted]. When attempting to appeal the lock, I mistakenly selected the option requiring parental approval instead of the appropriate choice for those who created their account when under 13 and are now older. This error occurred around 2:30 am in Malaysia, and by the time I realized my mistake, it was too late to rectify it. I am unsure how to contact Twitter directly for assistance, so I am reaching out here in the hopes of unlocking my account or receiving guidance on how to resolve this issue. Apologies for any inconvenience and thank you for your help.

I received a suspension for a post, citing promotion of violence or hate towards a religious group or race. Despite stating facts and not promoting hate or violence, I've been under suspension for nearly two weeks. I have sent two emails without any response. The initial suspension was for 7 days, yet I remain locked out as I refuse to delete a tweet that didn't violate Twitter policies. It seems my conservative views are the reason for the lack of communication. I am eager for Twitter to reach out to me, but unfortunately, they do not engage by phone. If there is no response soon, I may have to consider taking legal action. Prompt contact from Twitter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! I encountered an issue with my Twitter account due to being underage 8 years ago. Back then, my mother oversaw my account. She completed the required forms multiple times affirming her management until I was 13. Despite this, an email stated they couldn't authenticate her oversight. Twitter mentioned I could regain access once they removed tweets from when I was under 13. It's been more than a week since this update, but I'm still unable to log in. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I would like to request to have my account verified as I am the organizer of an upcoming writers event in Los Angeles, which will soon be associated with a larger union. It is crucial for me to avoid any misrepresentation or unauthorized duplication to protect the reputation of our attendees and the entertainment union. I have already submitted a request for verification, but the official announcement linking our event to this organization has not been released. Once it is out, we anticipate a high volume of responses. I am seeking account verification to prevent any confusion. As I will be in the spotlight due to this event, I would appreciate having advanced options to manage incoming responses from the press and the public effectively. A colleague at Warner Bros recommended I seek assistance in this matter. I am willing to provide any necessary documentation to support my verification request. Please advise on the required steps to proceed.

My account was locked after accidentally changing my birthday from April 21st, [redacted] to April 21st, [redacted]. I did not expect to get locked out and this is my main account linked to the email I've had since grade school. I cannot easily create a new email and Twitter account, as I am of age to use Twitter. Can you help me unlock my account? I have submitted my photo ID, but my Twitter remains locked, and I am unable to access it. I have not made any further changes to my account.

I am encountering a frustrating situation that has persisted for several weeks. Despite my attempts to communicate via email, the issue has not been acknowledged or resolved. Consequently, I am unable to provide the requested code and consequently cannot log in successfully. Despite changing my password twice, the system continues to prompt me for a code from the aforementioned mobile number. I feel stuck and unheard as I cannot access my account without this code. Please assist me in finding a resolution to this matter. For contact purposes, my email addresses are [redacted] and [redacted] Additionally, I can receive text messages at my Google Voice phone number, [redacted], and be reached at my internet landline, [redacted]. Hello, my name is Sunshine. I am having trouble accessing my Twitter account. I have three accounts, but I am unable to log in even though I have all the necessary information written down. After trying to create another account with the same details, I realized the issue persists. I do not want to create a new account due to the frustrating rules in place. I would appreciate it if you could address this problem as I wish to access my second account. It seems there was an oversight with using the same password and name. You can reach me at [redacted] or emailing [redacted] I am disappointed with Twitter's service and may consider sharing my experience with others. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Sunshine.

I have unintentionally caused my account to be locked due to an error in my birth date. I urgently need assistance to recover access to my account. Twitter is my essential platform for accessing credible news, especially since governmental control has overtaken traditional media in Turkey. I rely on Twitter for real-time updates and valuable information, particularly for staying informed about events in my country since the Gezi Park protests in [redacted]. As a college student living abroad, Twitter is my primary means of staying connected and vocal against my government's actions. Despite seeming insignificant, in a country where democracy is overshadowed by authoritarian rule, Twitter holds immense value and importance for me.
