I recently discovered that my Twitter account is locked because I updated my birthday to my real one, revealing I was under thirteen when I initially created the account. The message upon login states: “Your account is locked Serina Lawson @serina_lawson Our Terms of Service require everyone using Twitter to be 13 or above. It seems you did not meet this requirement when the account was made. Your active ad campaigns are paused. For more information and to check if access can be restored, please visit this form.” After clicking on the highlighted form, a new page confirms: “Thank you @serina_lawson We are working to unlock your account and will provide updates on our progress soon." It also mentions the minimum age policy. I've been dealing with this issue since August and would appreciate prompt assistance to resolve this. Thank you.

My account was recently locked due to suspicious activity without a clear explanation. After correctly verifying a Captcha test, I was prompted to enter a phone number, which presented a challenge as my number is not something I wish to share, and it may not be accessible in the future. Despite attempting to seek assistance through the Help forms by submitting a ticket, the automated response I received merely reiterated the process I had already followed. I find myself in a frustrating loop without any resolution. None of the available website options have proven effective in reaching a solution. I urgently require human intervention to address this issue as my account has been inaccessible for more than 14 days, and I am unaware of the cause for this action. I kindly request a Twitter representative to reach out and assist me promptly. Thank you, Matt.

I set up my Twitter account at 12 to follow my favorite musicians. Recently, I tried to update my birth year from [redacted] to [redacted] but made a mistake selecting an option to recover my suspended account. Instead of "I created my account at 12 and now I'm 13," I accidentally chose to contact a parent managing my account. Now at 16, I didn't realize this would require a government-issued age statement from my parent/guardian. Is it possible to correct this by choosing the intended option of "I created my account at 12 and now I am over 13"?

To whom it may concern, I am disappointed with your service regarding disabled Twitter accounts. Eleven days ago, my sister and I, with the accounts @Mia_Dessaur and @Cara_Dessaur respectively, had our accounts suspended after trying to update our ages to reflect our actual ages. We initially created the accounts a month before our 13th birthday, but now being 18, we didn't anticipate any issues. Our accounts were subsequently blocked until our mother could provide proof of identity, which is still pending review. While we understand the necessity of verifying our identities, as nearly 19-year-old college students, it feels somewhat condescending to have our mother send in identification for a six-year-old oversight. In researching this matter online, we discovered cases where Twitter failed to respond for months, forcing individuals to abandon their accounts. However, as aspiring young actors and performers, we heavily rely on Twitter for networking and connections within the industry. The past days without access to our accounts have put us at a disadvantage, hindering our professional reach. Despite submitting our birth certificates and our mother's driver's license, we have not seen any progress, leaving us uncertain about the status of our reviews. We seek clarity on the status of our review process and the anticipated timeline for resolution. Best regards, Mia and Cara Dessaur

My Twitter account (Cyborg_Daniela) got blocked initially for not meeting the minimum age requirement when it was made. Even though I now meet the age requirement, my account remains blocked since January [redacted]. I've followed the necessary steps, such as sending an ID, to try to recover it. The latest update I received via email mentioned that they verified I didn't meet the age requirement originally but hinted at the possibility of unlocking my account soon. However, it has been three months, and I'm still unable to access my account. Twitter states that they will not review any further requests. I am eager to have my account reinstated.

I am seeking assistance with the suspension of my account due to not meeting the age requirements. When I created the account, I was over 18 years old, and currently, I am 19. I have already emailed my case to have the account unsuspended, but I am unsure if it is under review. I foolishly altered the birthdate on my account because I have three accounts in total, and the other two are also suspended. I changed the birth year to differentiate them but kept the same birthday, October 31, [redacted], which is my actual birthdate.

My Twitter account was suspended for "exhibiting automated behavior," but I don't understand what that means or how it happened. I never received any prior notice about this issue. I have been unsuccessful in reaching out to Twitter for assistance. After submitting an online form to inquire about the suspension, I received an automated response mentioning the same issue. The response instructed me to follow prompts on Twitter to address the problem, but those prompts are not visible to me. When I tried to explain this through a response, I was informed that my case was closed without a resolution. They suggested opening a new case, but I encountered an error message stating that I couldn't do so because I already have an open case. This situation has left me in a frustrating loop with no way to resolve the issue.

I reside in an area with a weak internet connection, affecting my ability to access social media through my phone. Upon trying to log into my Twitter account, I was informed it had been locked due to suspicious activity. I tried to receive the required verification code via text, but faced delays and uncertainties regarding possible charges. The arrival of the text was significantly delayed past my request for a call with a confirmation number. Despite an email instructing me to log in and download a form, I continue to encounter issues accessing my account. With no prior warning, I am left feeling frustrated as Twitter is my primary social networking platform with over [redacted] followers. I am seeking assistance to resolve this matter promptly.

Hello Twitter, my name is Shumirai Tsikada. I am reaching out about my suspended account. Initially, my first account @kuextion was suspended for aggressive following, which I understand. I utilized it for business growth and abided by the rules. Subsequently, I created a new account, which accumulated 10k followers over 6 months. Unfortunately, this account was also suspended for "evading suspension." I rely on Twitter for business and motivational purposes, not for abuse or discrimination. I respectfully request a reconsideration as I value the platform and its community deeply. Thank you for your attention.

A couple of years ago, I had an account on Twitter that I had to abandon due to personal struggles. Recently, I haven't been able to access my email address, [redacted], and the carrier no longer provides any support. I am seeking help to regain access to my account because I posted regrettable racial comments when I was younger, and I need to erase them to protect my current reputation. I am finally in a better place in my life and career and want to ensure that my past actions don't jeopardize my progress. I'm willing to provide my Passport or Driver's License to prove my identity if necessary. Please contact me at [redacted] as I no longer have access to my previous email. I look forward to your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you, Oren Zilka

I am disappointed with the service regarding disabled Twitter accounts. Eleven days ago, both mine and my sister's accounts, @Mia_Dessaur and @Cara_Dessaur, were suspended when we tried to update our birthdates to our actual ages. We had created the accounts a month before our 13th birthday, not expecting any issues as we are now 18. Our mother had to provide proof of our identities, which is still pending. While we understand the necessity, at nearly 19 years old and in college, it feels demeaning to have our mother send identification for a mistake made six years ago. We have read about instances where Twitter has failed to respond to reviews, forcing users to abandon their accounts. This is detrimental to us as young actors who rely on networking. We are concerned about the delay in processing our reviews, especially since we use Twitter to connect with industry professionals. Our birth certificates and our mother's driver's license have been submitted, and we seek assurance that the reviews are being addressed promptly.

Hello, I am experiencing some unusual issues with my Twitter account after deleting past tweets on New Year's. This action seems to have caused significant problems like random retweets appearing in my timeline that I cannot remove fully. Although I tried unretweeting, blocking the user, and unconnecting apps, these retweets persist. Additionally, there is a loading icon that keeps spinning but never loads new tweets. I value my account with thousands of real followers over many years, and I am eager to resolve these technical glitches so I can confidently use Twitter again. Your assistance in fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Gary (Twitter: @GaryRidesBikes)

Hello, I wanted to seek advice regarding an issue my friend encountered on Twitter. While updating his account details, he mistakenly modified his birthdate. Consequently, his account was unexpectedly blocked and subsequently removed by Twitter. Even though he was initially accused of creating the account before turning 13 years old, he indeed had parental consent and oversight since [redacted], and is currently above 18 years old. We are puzzled as to why his account was disabled despite being of legal age. Additionally, how can he go about restoring his account? As a notable digital influencer, his username @mayafrota is imperative for maintaining authenticity with his followers. Since he relies heavily on Twitter to interact directly with fans, the situation is precarious. To rectify this, he has submitted two forms and provided documents to verify his adherence to Twitter’s regulations but has yet to receive a response. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I've been receiving emails with no way to reply to them. My Twitter account got hacked, and the email and username were changed to @doaribara. Despite still being logged in, I am unable to reset my password because the phone number associated with the account is linked to two different accounts. When I try to use @doaribara, it prompts me to change the email or password without success. Previously, my account was linked to [redacted], which is still active. My username was @Cognugget, and I'm uncertain if it was capitalized or spelled with two "g"s. Please include instructions on how to respond to your emails as the current setup does not allow me to reply directly.

My Twitter account got suspended while I was in the ICU with my son, who sadly passed away. Someone accessed my phone during that time, made tweets in my account, and caused my suspension. I reported this to the police as there was theft involved. I contacted Twitter, but they only gave me an automated response. I explained the situation, provided the police report number, and offered verification letters. The hospital is aware and enhancing security. I need my account back to stay connected with family abroad. Please assist me in resolving this issue.

After updating my apps, my date of birth was added to my account, leading to selecting the wrong option that then locked my account. I find it frustrating that I had to go through a parental consent process as a nursing professional who relies on Twitter for business and support. Unfortunately, the lack of available contact numbers and the continuous loop back to the locked page when seeking assistance has left me disappointed. Despite filling out the form multiple times, the issue remains unresolved after 2 days. Reluctant to create a new account due to the health professionals who follow and contact me through Twitter, I have already submitted my and my mother's IDs. It's important to note that I did not select the 'I entered my DOB wrong' option intentionally.

I have attempted multiple times to send in a form with my valid ID, yet I keep receiving notifications that it's incomplete or ineligible. Despite consistent and correct submissions with my government-issued ID, the issue persists. Having used this Twitter handle all my life, I would be greatly disappointed if access continues to be denied. I am a 21-year-old woman, turning 22 in four days, and I am unable to enter my account due to an age restriction from when I created it when I was under 13. I kindly request assistance to resolve this matter and regain access to my account, as I am legally an adult and only wish to access my Twitter without starting over. Thanks.

There are discrepancies in the activity dashboard where tweets sent are not reflected in the bar graph's metrics above. Despite sending several tweets, the graph still shows 0 tweets since Feb 27th. Although the tweets scheduled through Hootsuite are visible on the profile and receiving engagement, metrics like mentions, profile visits, and organic impressions are not updating correctly. This issue is particularly concerning as it indicates a significant decline in performance over the past 28 days, except for new followers. I suspect there might be a bug causing the analytics dashboard not to update with the most recent stats for the last week, as it usually does daily. Any guidance on fixing this or information on whether it will resolve automatically would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I'm unsure if I'll receive a response, but I wanted to share my situation. I have been using the Twitter account @pretty_muffin02 given to me by my siblings since I turned 13. However, I recently discovered that the age listed on the account is actually my older sister's, as she initially created it. I attempted to update the age to mine, but because I was under 13 when the account was initially set up, it got locked. I selected the option for an older person managing the account, thinking my older sister could assist, but only my parents are allowed to do so. Since my siblings were managing the account, it wasn't a truthful report. Now that I'm 16 and eligible, I tried choosing the option for my correct age, but encountered difficulties. Any advice on resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

Contacting Twitter customer service has been frustrating as my 71-year-old relative's account has been suspended for over nine months. The instructions to reactivate the account are complex, and I'm unable to navigate through them. It is disheartening not to have the option to speak with a live person for assistance. I urge Twitter to reconsider and reactivate the account promptly. It's upsetting to see that my tweets, which are not abusive, have led to the suspension, whereas many offensive tweets are still active on the platform. The lack of customer support from Twitter seems unfair and leaves much to be desired in resolving this issue effectively.
