Twitter initially asked me to input my birth date on my page, limiting the year to [redacted]. Recently, I tried updating it to my real birth year, [redacted]. After the change, my account got locked due to age restrictions. Despite creating the account at 12 and now being 22, I got restricted. I understand the age requirement was 13 to create the account, but it seems harsh to face consequences as a 22-year-old. I hope to regain access to my account, willing to lose my tweets if necessary, but eager to retain my followers and username. This issue seems unresolved for many users, according to the feedback I've received.

Twitter recently requested my birthday, which I provided truthfully as I'm 17 and well within their age guidelines. However, after inputting my birthdate, Twitter locked me out citing that I had created the account when I was 13. They mentioned they would review and possibly delete any content from that time. It's been two weeks, and my account is still inaccessible. I need access back as this is how I stay in touch with distant family. I hope to regain access to my account with all my recent tweets intact.

I created my Twitter account, @m00nlighhtt, back in January [redacted], when I was almost 13 years old (my birthdate is 02.12.[redacted]). I admit that I initially lied about my age to join Twitter out of curiosity. After not finding it appealing, I stopped using it until high school. Recently, I tried to correct my birth year from [redacted] to [redacted], but it locked me out on 11/15/[redacted]. I have yet to receive any assistance in resolving this issue. Understandably, I know I am responsible for this situation, but since I have now passed the age of 13, I would like to regain access to my old account.

My Twitter account, with the username omgg_leina, got locked due to my age. I filled out a form stating that accounts would be unlocked, and old tweets under 13 would be removed, which I'm okay with. However, it's disappointing to hear that Twitter is slow in this process. I just want my account back, mainly with tweets from a few months ago. I'm currently 17, born in [redacted], and created the account using my mom's email a few years ago. I hardly used it when I was younger, and my parents monitored it until they were comfortable. I would appreciate it if you could unlock my account because I haven't done anything wrong. It seems unfair that some engage in suspicious activities without consequences while I'm trying to rectify my birthdate honestly. If additional information is needed, please inform me. Thank you.

Dear Sirs, I am reaching out regarding my daughter's Twitter account, @the_emma_button, which was blocked after her birth date was changed when she created the account. At the time, she wasn't 13 years old; however, she is now 17. I have submitted a declaration as her parent, along with both our ID copies to verify my relationship as her mother. Despite this, I keep receiving responses stating that the information provided cannot be confirmed. Her email is [redacted], and her name is Daniela Amaro. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Best regards, Maria Cristina Amaro (Daniela's mom)

I recently created a Twitter account in my daughter's name and managed it until she turned legal age. She then took control, updated settings, and verified her age as 13. Suddenly, the account got locked. Despite sending legal documents and consent statements to Twitter Support multiple times, the account remains locked with continuous requests for the same documents. The account in question is Lydia_Altan. My daughter is upset, and I don't want her to be disappointed. Can someone assist with this? Thank you. Best regards, Ms. Fatos Altan

I established my Twitter account on my 13th birthday, November 24th, [redacted]. On my 16th birthday, I received a notification stating that it was my 3-year Twitter anniversary. When prompted, I added my birth date as it was not previously recorded. Subsequently, my account was locked under the assumption that I did not meet the minimum age requirement of 13 when creating it. This is inaccurate, considering the anniversary message appeared on my 16th birthday. Despite my parent submitting the requested information to Twitter, my account remains locked. The lack of updates or clarity on the situation is frustrating, especially since my account holds sentimental value. I have been unable to locate relevant information online or on Twitter to address this issue. It is vital to me that I speak with a representative directly to resolve this matter promptly.

Hello. I've been unable to access my Twitter account for months. Recently, I received an email (included below) stating my account was "unlocked." Excitedly, I tried to log in, only to find that my account is still locked. I'm frustrated with the ongoing issues preventing me from viewing any activity on my account. I would appreciate a clear explanation on how to fully restore my account without the same unhelpful responses I keep receiving. Please, I urgently need your assistance as there is no apparent option for me to fix this myself. I will continue to reach out until my account is fully restored. Thank you. Sent from my iPhone

The Twitter system's automatic "Suspicious" label has caused repeated issues for me, resulting in several accounts being erroneously locked despite my efforts to maintain a legitimate presence. Although I engage in basic activities such as tweeting and updating my profile, the system continuously locks my accounts, making it difficult to sustain a meaningful presence. The latest account, where I shared poetry and deep thoughts, was unexpectedly deactivated on Wed, Dec 5th, [redacted]. Requiring a phone number for account recovery poses a challenge as I am locked out without justification. The limitation on using only the phone number as the sole option is frustrating, and expanding it to include email validation or alternative methods would greatly improve the overall user experience. As a user (@Necroposting), I seek access to my account and request a more user-friendly account recovery process. Thank you.

In [redacted], my mother created a Twitter account for me with plans for her to manage it for my tennis updates. Despite laying dormant for 5-6 years, I took over the account in [redacted] at 16 years old, changing the profile to @JBabbb for personal use. I have submitted all required documents to Twitter, including a form filled by my mother and her driver's license. However, it has been more than 25 hours with no response from Twitter. I urgently need access to my account, as it was under my control since I turned 16 and does not deserve to be locked.

I previously provided an incorrect birthdate when setting up my Twitter account, making me underage. I am now of legal age and have always used Twitter responsibly with my mother's approval. Despite starting the account before turning 13, I have never misused the platform. I am sincerely requesting for my account to be unlocked as I love using Twitter and have always adhered to its policies. I acknowledge my mistake in creating the account underage and assure that I will continue to use it appropriately. My mother supports my use of Twitter and is assisting me in resolving this issue. I started the account just two days before my 13th birthday, and I believe this should be taken into consideration for unlocking it now. I appreciate your time in reading this message and kindly ask for your understanding in restoring my account. Thank you for addressing this matter. Warm regards, Lily C.

I wish to report an account that repeatedly promotes harassment against Egyptian women who wear revealing clothing. The individual advocates for this behavior, claiming it as their right, which reflects a disturbingly widespread mentality in Egypt. Shockingly, instead of taking action against this account, I have been suspended for telling them to harm themselves. I refuse to delete my tweet as I believe in standing up against rapists and abusers. It is disheartening that there are insufficient rules and laws to protect victims, while those who perpetrate such acts are seemingly supported. Despite the consequences, I will not be silenced. I will continue to speak out against such injustices, even if it means losing my Twitter account. It is crucial to hold platforms like Twitter accountable for giving a voice to perpetrators.

Hello, I realize that this may not be the email associated with my Twitter account (@decodingsarah). The problem arose when I was unexpectedly logged out just before I could update my email and phone number details. This email is my primary one, whereas the email linked to my Twitter is one I no longer remember. Despite having my original username and password, I am being prompted to change the password to regain access, a step I wish to avoid. If changing the password is inevitable, I am unable to access the associated email. Revealing the linked email would greatly assist me, or finding an alternative way to log in without altering the password. I prefer not to create a new account, so I appreciate any assistance you can offer. Thank you for your help, Sarah

My younger sister played a prank on my Twitter account by changing my birthdate, leading to the account being disabled. It has been suspended for about two weeks now, and the only message I see when trying to resolve it is: "Thank you for your patience. We are working on a technical solution to restore important parts of your account, such as your username and recent tweets." However, I have not received any email updates regarding this issue. Reclaiming my account is crucial to me as I am 19 years old and created my account back in [redacted], meeting the age requirements. I value my Twitter account as it holds many cherished memories, and this predicament arose from my sister's attempt at humor. This whole situation is incredibly frustrating for me.

I am having trouble deleting my Twitter account, KileyB33. I can't remember my password, so I can't reset it. The email associated with my account is no longer accessible, and when I contact Twitter support, the email doesn't match. I now use [redacted] The old email was (live.com) but is now outlook.com. I can't access that email or reset its password because I don't have the phone number associated with the account. My account KileyB33 has been around since [redacted] and is full of spam. I need to remove it as I don't want it to be seen by potential employers. Thank you.

Hello, I'm Olivia Tropea. My account username is "oliviatropea" with the email "[redacted]" I am currently 19 years old, born in [redacted]. When I created my Twitter account, I used [redacted] as my birth year due to restrictions. A couple of months ago, I tried changing it to [redacted]. Unfortunately, this action disabled my account for not meeting the age requirement at the original registration. I have reached out to Twitter, providing my passport and IDs, but have not received any response or access to my account. I acknowledge I am now of the required age to use Twitter and apologize for the oversight. I'm kindly asking for assistance to re-enable my account so I can access it again. Thank you for your help.

My Twitter account under the username @KiaraRegade has been locked for a week now. I am concerned because I've heard of others struggling to regain access due to an age restriction for months. I am turning 19 on December 17, so there should be no issue with the age requirement. Unfortunately, I cannot access the email connected to my account to receive updates on the status of unlocking it. I initially created the account at 12 years old but am now 18, so I completed a form confirming this, but my account remains locked. Twitter is important to me, as it has been my go-to social media platform for six years and holds many memories. Please assist me in recovering it promptly or updating me on the progress. If possible, reach me at [redacted]3 or [redacted] Any guidance on alternative ways to contact Twitter support is appreciated.

While going through my Twitter account for a trip down memory lane and some tidying up, I realized I had mistakenly entered a wrong birth year. After correcting it to [redacted], I got logged out with a message stating that individuals under 13 are not permitted on Twitter. I followed the instructions to reach out to the support team, but it has been almost a week with no response. I have minimal tweets dating back to [redacted] when I was already 13. I understand the error was mine, but I am missing out on a lot on Twitter. Kindly assist in reactivating my account promptly. Thank you.

I am Simon Stangertz Printzén, the owner of the verified Twitter account @SimonBatAAr. When trying to log in, I encountered a "suspicious activity" message, leading to a frustrating cycle of password resets and dead ends. Despite having proof of my account's connection to my email and phone number, I am unable to regain access. Twitter's automated responses keep redirecting me back to the initial login problem, even when I try to seek help from customer support. I suspect either a technical issue on Twitter's end or a possible hack altering my account details, though no unusual activity has been observed. All pertinent emails from Twitter are stored in my [redacted] inbox, further confirming the association with my account. This login dilemma is hindering my promotional and communication activities, and I urgently require assistance to restore access to my account.

I have an old Twitter account from [redacted] (@julianleeraert) that I can't access because I no longer have the email linked to it. The account has been inactive for four years, and I've been trying to regain access for over two months. Each time I reach out to Twitter, I receive automated responses saying they can't assist me. I am eager to delete this old account and would greatly appreciate any help you can provide. Kind regards, Julian Leeraert
