I created my Twitter account when I was around 12 years old, and now at 20, it holds significant sentimental value to me. Recently, I attempted to update my birthdate to reflect my actual year of birth, [redacted]. I was unaware of Twitter's policy prohibiting users under 13 years old and the restrictions that come with it. After finally being able to change my birthdate, I received a message stating that my account would be suspended due to my underage registration. Despite being promised the return of my account since June, I have not heard anything from Twitter. This situation is distressing because I rely on Twitter to stay connected with friends, and I've invested years into building my account. I am frustrated by the lack of communication and support from Twitter regarding this issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as my Twitter account holds significant importance to me.

I have been trying for months to get you at Twitter to stop sending your notifications to my email. I am tired of having to delete all these emails and do not care about the content. Please stop bombarding me with unwanted emails. Thank you.

On September 3, my Twitter account got locked due to an age discrepancy. I updated my birth year from [redacted] to [redacted] because I am actually 18 years old with a birthday of December 20, [redacted]. After submitting my passport photo, Twitter promised to unlock my account promptly, but it is now October 17 and my account remains locked.

My Twitter account was locked on September 3 because it indicated that I created the account when I was 12. I updated my birth year from [redacted] to [redacted]; I am currently 18 years old, born on December 20, [redacted]. I provided my official passport photo, and they confirmed on the same day that they would unlock my account. However, as of October 17, my account remains locked.

I created my Twitter account in [redacted] when I was 12 years old, and I am now 19. Recently, I updated my birth date on the account to the correct one and was instantly suspended. After providing my ID to Twitter, I received an email stating they are working on unlocking my account as I did not meet the age requirement when it was created. They mentioned they will delete any content posted before I was 13, however, I only started using the account at 16, so there is no such content. Despite the promise of updates, no progress has been made since then. Based on feedback from others in similar situations, I worry Twitter may never resolve this, leaving my account suspended. I hope for a prompt solution to restore my Twitter account that was unfairly suspended.

My account was mistakenly suspended for impersonation, which I did not do intentionally. Despite filing an appeal, the automated system denied restoring my account due to their strict stance on impersonation. I changed my name to Crayola Scoot as a playful reference to a game my friends and I enjoy, not as an attempt to deceive. My username and bio remained unchanged, clearly identifying me as @bflatcollin, a music teacher and nintendo fan in San Diego. After being mistakenly tagged in a tweet by a gaming account, I clarified that I was not the official account and jestingly mentioned a sponsorship from Crayola. I suspect this may have led to my suspension, even though the name change was temporary and in good fun. I am eager for Twitter to reconsider and reinstate my account as it solely represents me, without any intention of impersonation. I am disappointed by their decision and hope for a resolution.

Hello, I'm Jolise Grant, and I've been locked out of my Twitter account for nearly a month. I realized that I had created the account when I was 13 years old, but now I'm 21. I recently deleted all my old tweets to align with my new brand image as an aspiring singer and active college student. I haven't been able to access my account, and it's frustrating as I can't create a new one since this account is linked to my real name. I would appreciate any help in resolving this issue promptly. Thank you, Jolise

Hello, my name is AKprince. I have been an active user of Twitter since [redacted]. Recently, two days ago, my Twitter account was suspended. I promptly reached out for an appeal and received a response two days later. They mentioned that my account was suspended for spamming and breaking rules multiple times. However, I have always followed Twitter's rules and have never violated any guidelines. My tweets have consistently complied with the platform's regulations. According to Twitter's policy, there could have been a mistake leading to the suspension of a genuine user account, and they usually cooperate to resolve such issues. I have invested a lot of effort into building my audience and respectfully request Twitter to reconsider and lift the suspension of my account.

Hello, I encountered an issue with my account last August when I attempted to update my birthday to reflect my correct birth date. When I initially created my account at the age of 10, I mistakenly input an inaccurate year of birth. This discrepancy has been bothering me, prompting me to adjust it to my actual birthday now that I am 16. By updating this detail, I aimed to ensure that Twitter would view me as a legitimate user eligible to access their platform. However, even after 2 months, my account remains locked. Although I received an email indicating that Twitter would unlock my account once I verified my age, my attempts to follow up have been unsuccessful. The email notified me that my appeal has been closed, leaving me unable to obtain any further updates on the status of my account. For reference, my Twitter handle is @curioshittii. I am hopeful to receive a prompt response regarding this matter.

My Twitter account, @michellebfrias, got locked for being created when I was underage. Now that I'm 19, Twitter asked me to verify this by having my mom confirm she supervised the account. She completed the form and submitted it with ID, but Twitter claimed the documents were incomplete or illegible even though we scanned them. My mom's last name changed due to remarriage, which may be causing issues. I'm eager to regain access to my account, which has been locked for 2 weeks.

I recently updated my birth year on Twitter, unintentionally setting it to indicate I was under 13 when the account was created. Initially, my father approved me having the account and I attempted to clarify this during the form submission process. Unfortunately, I couldn't find an option to indicate parental consent and mistakenly input the wrong age in hopes of resolving it later. Subsequently, I discovered I couldn't access my account. Can anyone assist me in restoring access? I can provide an email from my parent confirming their authorization for me to have a Twitter account. Thank you.

Hello, recently I updated my birthdate on Twitter to 06/24/[redacted], which is my real date of birth. Shortly after, I got locked out of my account. I have submitted the form three times and provided proof of my identity to verify my age. I admit that I originally set my age younger by 5+ years, but that was a while ago. I received a confirmation email that my account will be unlocked, and I'm now waiting for it to happen. As I am currently at AIT for the Army, I don't have access to my phone for text verification. Email is the best way to reach me, and I hope Twitter can help me resolve this issue. I have been patient and submitted the necessary forms. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I kindly request your assistance in deactivating three of my accounts on Twitter. These accounts, under the handles @BonnieSorzano, @bsorzano15, and @SorzanoBonnie, need to be disabled as I am preparing to apply for internships and jobs. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the emails, passwords, or usernames associated with them. It would be immensely appreciated if you could take them down promptly. These accounts were established when I was younger and no longer represent me accurately. Your help in deactivating them would be incredibly valuable. Thank you.

Hello everyone, I am facing an issue with my Twitter account being suspended for being under the age limit when I created it. I am now 20 years old and wish to reactivate it. However, upon trying to do so, my account got suspended due to this discrepancy. Unfortunately, the email linked to my Twitter account, [redacted], is no longer active. I am willing to provide my personal IDs to prove my age and identity to reactivate my account. I have submitted a form but have not received any response regarding my suspended account. Please provide me with any updates or assistance you can offer regarding this matter. Twitter Handle: @Machuletz_008 Best regards, J.G. Mapalad

I recently realized that my birth year on Twitter was incorrectly listed one year off; I was actually born in [redacted]. When I attempted to update this information, it unexpectedly logged me out and locked my account due to restrictions for users under 13 when I created it. Despite using the platform daily for 8 years, I was unaware of this policy. I am now unable to access my account, and I am feeling anxious and disappointed. I am eager to regain access to my original account and willing to remove any content posted when I was underage. I have heard that the support team may have delayed responses, and individuals have been locked out for extended periods. Twitter is a significant part of my daily routine, and losing this account would be discouraging. If I cannot recover my account, I may have to discontinue using Twitter altogether. I hope to receive prompt assistance to resolve this issue efficiently.

Hello, I wanted to share that our new company's Twitter account, Zurdox, with the handle @ZurdoxInc, was suspended this week. Twitter explained that it was due to multiple violations of their rules, although these violations were unintentional. We have already appealed the suspension and are waiting for a response from Twitter. We are eager to understand the specific reasons for the suspension to ensure compliance in the future. We are committed to following all guidelines set by Twitter and would like to continue using our current company account. If the suspension cannot be lifted, we are exploring the option of creating a new Twitter account. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

My account was disabled without prior notice or explanation. Despite reaching out to Twitter support multiple times, I receive the same response stating my account was suspended due to rule violations. I asked for examples of my violations, but no information was provided. I am mainly a reader on Twitter and have only posted about ten times. I am eager for someone from Twitter to clarify the violation and kindly ask for my account to be reinstated. Username: NadeemSiddiqi5

I have reached out to Twitter support multiple times via their web form since yesterday, requesting not to receive a pre-drafted reply. Unfortunately, they keep sending the same response, and I feel like I am going in circles. My account got suspended after posting a short video of Mourinho's reaction during the Chelsea-Man Utd game due to a DMCA takedown notice. Twitter suggests appealing to the complainant to speed up the process, but I cannot find their contact information except for a German address and phone number, which I do not speak the language. I have apologized to Twitter, but I am not making any progress. Any recommendations on what I should do next would be greatly appreciated. I used to utilize the TweetDeck website and joined multiple teams after clicking on authorization. I will share a video demonstrating my actions. After unjoining a team in the next video, I noticed that my account still displayed a high volume of retweets and likes, indicating activity from teams I had left. I am concerned that someone may be misusing my account to engage with teams I am no longer a part of. Despite unliking and undoing the retweets, the activity persists, as shown in the subsequent video. I have changed my password as a precaution, but the unwanted activity continues with spam posts being retweeted and liked without my consent on my profile.

I used to utilize the website TweetDeck for managing my social media, where I joined several teams and authorized access. Despite unjoining the teams, my account shows ongoing likes and retweets that I haven't personally done. I suspect that someone might be misusing my account within these teams. Despite changing my password, the unwanted activity persists, automatically retweeting and liking content I didn't engage with. I have recorded videos to demonstrate the issue.
