Hi there, I'm Mia Page, and I'm the account owner of @pageofthemia. Unfortunately, my account got locked due to my age when it was created. Even though I'm now 19 years old, I violated the terms and conditions by creating the account when I was under 13, with my parent's authorization. My parent is trying to recover my account by submitting the required form and ID. However, after encountering an error message, she had to resubmit the documents. I'm eager to have my account reinstated, but if these submissions are rejected, we won't have another chance to appeal. Both my parent and I are devoted Twitter users, but this process has been quite exhausting. We're both looking forward to resolving this situation promptly. Thank you for considering our appeal, and any assistance in expediting this process would be greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing difficulty accessing my account after updating my birthdate. Twitter keeps rejecting the form and ID I submit to unlock it. This is crucial to me as I rely on Twitter for my business. Despite meeting the age requirement, my account remains inaccessible. It is frustrating that this issue persists for many users, some waiting for months for a resolution. We simply want access to our long-standing accounts without creating new ones. The prolonged wait for a fix is inconvenient for users depending on the app. I urge Twitter to promptly address this ongoing problem, as it is causing distress. The customer service experience requires improvement, and I hope for a swift resolution.

After taking a month-long tech break, I recently returned online only to find myself locked out of my account. The frustrating 'text a code' verification process has been a nightmare; despite numerous attempts and resetting my password twice, I never received the verification code. Even reaching out for help seems to loop back to the same issue. I am eager to have my account unlocked and for Twitter to address the overly complicated two-way verification system. It's been a 5-day ordeal filled with multiple failed attempts and unanswered emails, all because of a simple retweet that landed me in Twitter jail without any means of escape.

About five weeks ago, I had an issue with my Twitter account being locked after updating my birth year in my bio. I mistakenly changed it from [redacted] to the correct year, [redacted]. I created my account with my parents' permission when I was younger, and now that I'm 17, I'm eager to regain access to Twitter as I meet the age requirement. My parents, friends, and family are eagerly awaiting for me to resolve this issue, so I'm hoping to have my account back within the next few weeks, especially before school starts in mid-August. I've tried all the available options to recover my account, and I'm anxious to reconnect with everyone and not lose my photos, tweets, followers, and memories. I appreciate any assistance in expediting the process. Thank you for your help in advance.

After realizing my birthdate on my Twitter was wrong, I attempted to correct it but mistakenly set it one year ahead. This triggered a lock on my account as I had originally signed up when I was 12, with parental supervision. My account was marked as a minor account due to this. In the form provided, the option chosen was that the birthdate change was accidental, which was not accurate. Any assistance in rectifying this issue would be greatly appreciated. Kindly contact me for further help. Thank you, KL

I updated my birthday on Twitter and was locked out for creating the account before turning 13, even though I am now over 13. Twitter advised me to log into the locked account and follow the instructions, but when I did, I found a form I had already completed. Now I want Twitter to delete all content on my account and restore my username, without keeping any of my previous content or followers. Thank you.

My Twitter account @savagestxph got suspended unfairly due to a tweet I made with a close friend, which was misunderstood as promoting violence. In reality, I always advocate against violence on my platform. I have used Twitter for many years, reporting accounts that promote violence without seeing them suspended. However, my account was suspended for a harmless tweet that my friend and I found amusing months ago. Twitter is vital to me, and creating a new account is not an option as I have invested a lot in this account over the years. I kindly request the restoration of my account to continue using it as before.

I have been locked out of my account for over two months. I am a survivor of domestic violence and assault, part of the #MeToo movement. I spoke out against government and media abuses and faced retaliation - my home was vandalized, and my pet was killed. Despite this, Twitter suspended my account for harassment. I have tried to reach out multiple times while being attacked on other platforms. Can you please either reactivate my account, delete it, or clarify Twitter's stance? I feel their policies are biased and favor certain groups over others. I have had enough of their discrimination and will take legal action if needed. Sincerely, KM RILEY, disabled survivor and advocate for abuse victims.

I opened this account in [redacted] when I was 13, but due to my late January 29th birthday, Twitter did not accept my actual birth year, [redacted]. I had to use [redacted] to register. Now in [redacted], I'm 15 and tried to update my birthdate to reflect my correct age. Unfortunately, I got locked out in the process. I am eager to regain access to my Twitter account.

I rarely get upset, but I am shocked that my account got locked. I mistakenly changed my age on Twitter, which led to my account being locked since I was not 13 when I created it. There was no clear warning about the consequences, and now I am permanently locked out. Twitter is vital for keeping in touch with friends and my interests. If I can't regain access due to an honest mistake, I will be very disappointed. I understand the legal aspect, but being locked out without a clear warning and no chance to recover access is unreasonable. I want full access restored and to ensure this doesn't happen again. Thank you.

My account got locked because I changed my date of birth on Twitter. I'm about to turn 21 and created the account when I was under 13 with parental supervision. I want my age to be accurate now. The system says an email was sent to my parent at [redacted], but they didn't receive it. I'd prefer not to make a new account and avoid troubling my parent. My username is @Kenzy_Le. Is there a way to contact someone by phone to resolve this? I need my Twitter for school. I'd prefer Twitter to contact me directly, so my parent doesn't have to be involved. Please unlock my account. Thank you.

Hello, approximately two weeks ago, my Twitter account @hello_its_bree got suspended due to suspicious activity related to excessive replies and retweets. I acknowledge my mistake and apologize. I would appreciate it if you could reactivate my account as I rely on it for my Twitter activity. Moving forward, I will make sure to adhere to the community guidelines. Please note that I no longer have access to the phone number linked to my account as I have changed my number and failed to update it on Twitter. I kindly request your assistance in finding a solution as I value my account after using it for two years. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

In [redacted], with my mother's supervision and approval, I created my Twitter account. Regrettably, after attempting to change my birth year, I got locked out of the account. Despite trying to provide an explanation for the error in selecting the wrong birth year, I may have chosen "I put the wrong year" instead. Currently residing in an area with poor wifi, I suspect this may have impacted my selection. Twitter is now requesting my photo ID to verify my age as 13, yet I am not being offered a chance to explain my circumstances. Struggling to reach out for help, I attempted to message them from a friend's account, but the service was unavailable. I am disappointed by the lack of support options provided by Twitter, with the only suggestion being to message them (a feature currently unavailable to me). I am seeking advice or alternative solutions from the community on how to resolve this issue. If I submit my ID photo, I am unsure if there will be an opportunity to elaborate on my current situation with a representative.

I recently tried to update my birthday on Twitter to August 5th, [redacted], to celebrate my birthday with my friends. I created my account in September [redacted], so I wasn't under 13 at the time. Initially, my account was managed by my mother and set up under her email before I turned 13, which complies with Twitter's policies. Despite this, I was locked out of my account without warning. Every attempt to seek help from their website failed as it keeps crashing. I've just turned 16 and have always followed Twitter's rules. I'm desperate to regain access to my account. Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I was discussing a band in a group chat and realized I didn't know much about the lead singer. However, instead of helping me, the group started cyberbullying me. It has been a week now, and they are indirectly making fun of me publicly without mentioning my username. This situation has consumed their conversations. Additionally, despite my account being locked, someone is still able to read my tweets. Even though I blocked the main bully, they continue to harass me with ableist comments about my disability and make jokes about my illnesses. This situation is really affecting me, and I am seeking support. I am unsure of what actions Twitter can take, but I hope they can assist in stopping the harassment so I can enjoy using the platform again.

Hello, I need help with my Twitter account. I got locked out last night for being too young, even though I'm 22 and created the account when I was 13. I've provided all necessary documents like my ID, birth certificate, and my mom's ID to prove my age and identity. This issue is new to me, and I'm frustrated with the lack of progress. The email linked to my account is [redacted], and my phone number is [redacted]. I'm an avid Twitter user and follower, and I have important things to share. I hope to have my account reinstated soon. Thanks, @onlyonetia_ T.J.

After updating my birth year on Twitter from [redacted] to [redacted], my account got locked due to age restrictions. Twitter informed me that they needed to verify my account to unlock it because I was underage when the account was created. I filled out the account access restoration form, and they assured me they were working on a technical solution to restore my account. They mentioned they would recover my username and tweets created after I turned 13. However, it has been several weeks to a month, and I have not received any updates. I am seeking assistance with this issue.

My account is currently locked. I wanted to add my birthday since it’s coming up, but because I wasn't 13 when I joined Twitter, they locked it. I sent my ID to confirm my age, but I found the process sketchy. I received an automated message saying they'd unlock my account, but it's been a week, and I haven't heard anything. I've been on Twitter since [redacted] and don't want to create a new account as I have many followers that I would lose. Please assist me.

I am frustrated with the constant texts being sent to an old phone number instead of my current one. I already changed my password, why is sending a verification code to an outdated number necessary? Please send the code to my current number or I will consider deactivating my Twitter account permanently. Requiring a phone number for verification is unnecessary, and rejecting my current number is frustrating. If this is not resolved promptly, I will share my negative experience on Twitter. It's disappointing that I have to deal with this issue. Additionally, I keep getting redirected to other pages while trying to address this problem, which is another frustrating aspect of this experience.

I recently got locked out of my Twitter account, @helloimjosie, due to creating it when I was under thirteen. Despite now being 18, I accidentally selected the option stating an adult supervised the account instead of indicating I created it at 12. I've attempted to contact Twitter support through DM, but the page appears to be inaccessible. I find it frustrating that my age at account creation is causing this issue and preventing me from submitting a correct report. The platform requires proof of an adult supervisor, which I couldn't provide since I made the account myself at 12. I would greatly appreciate assistance in unlocking my account as soon as possible.
