Twitter needs to protect civil free speech even when facts conflict with widely assumed but sometimes fake 'narratives'. For democracy to exist people need to be able to communicate freely so hypotheses as to current events can be hashed out by the hive mind which is democracy. They and other MNCs are censoring out key facts all around the world. Twitter does not realize its on trial here, just like Facebook. Not me. People are deciding now whether these huge and faceless entities should be broken up or simply made more accountable. Episodes like my own are a powerful argument for breakup. ... Twitter is hiding a super important, ugly trade agreement which hijacks our democracy in health insurance, banking, education, water and innumerable other areas (unless 'supplied as an exercise of governmental authority' which means "any service which is supplied*neither on a commercial basis, nor in competition with one or more service suppliers" Americans need to know this but it seems I am the only person tweeting about it and I am getting censored - My tweets are only visible to people who followed me before this happened, a very few others, who saw replaies to me from the original group, and now it seems supporters of a political candidate who opposed key issues I support and a candidate I refuded to vote for (because of involvement with thisscheme I am describing) but accuse us of being spoilers. In other words those who can see my tweets is limited to mostly being people who want to silence me, possibly by means of twitter itself, possibly by means of lists which one cant get off of. I am trying to prevent our country from falling into a very costly trap which could make it impossible for us to move forward in any way on healthcare tying us to the insurance system we have today. **See **http:**citeseerx.ist.psu.edu*viewdoc*summary?doi***.*.*.***.******http:**www.maine.gov*legis*opla*ctpchlthcaresub.pdf**http:**www.policyalternatives.ca*sites*default*files*uploads*publications*National*Office*Pubs*putting*health*first.pdf**and *http:**www.citizen.org*documents*PresidentialWTOreport.pdf**also there is a risk with tiered systems that the WTO or TiSA body could compel international trade in healthcare services which in this case might mean patients being sent overseas if tiers had been established - they would likely be used to divide patients by class and select some for 'offshoring'. (currenly our WTO schedule excludes this but it seems as if the Indian 'trade Facilitation inServices' proposal would be seen as a challenge to national exclusons in schedules for countries that had GATS committments in health insurance already like the US. That opens us up to a great deal of mischief especially given the American people have been deprived of the knowledge that this was done. Our situation is unlike that of the EU in this respect, and is much more perilous. Strangely, (in **** when it was leaked) its been discussed in the EU, where the danger is less, but not in the US where the danger is greater. **See *http:**www.world-psi.org*en*tisa-another-leaked-document-reveals-secret-talks-promote-health-tourism-privatisation-and-raise**See also *http:**trade.ec.europa.eu*doclib*press*index.cfm?id********The GATS deal was a mistake as shown by its track record, (with GlassSteagall, US healthcare and education, and now the repeal of the ACA pre-existing conditions coverage) and the dangers it and its progeny TiSA represent for us, which Public Citizen has been particularly good at showing, but the media has not reported it at all. **the TISA could also impact universities, threatening public higher education**https:**www.timeshighereducation.com*news*how-global-trade-deals-could-impact-universities**This lack of knowledge is causing innumerable policy problems, especially in health insurance, banking, higher education, water and other essential services. For example, a 'standstill' is blocking financial regulation post ****, and likely led and is leading to repeal of laws regulating health insurance and banking *https:**perma.cc*BAH*-QLEY**This agreement also caused the repeal in **** of the GlassSteagall Act, which led to the **** world financial crisis.*https:**perma.cc*UZ*G-QMJ* (last page of Supplement * at top see the single line promising GlassSteagall reform) **We need to step very carefully with Social Security and Medicare because of this agreement, specifically we need to not break the conditions in the Annex shown here. https:**perma.cc*F**C-X**T**There needs to be national discussion which has never happened to avoid what will almost certainly be another disaster because of these hidden traps - these trade agreements are like an inside joke by smug others on all of us. **Politicians are making promises they should qualify with the knowledge that currently we need 'carve outs' to get the things we need and they may become incredibly costly soon if we dont press to get them. **Twitter needs to come out on the human side in this very real and very destructive "corporate takeover of the future world" issue to be "good" and not "evil". **Twitter claims to be "for good" but is also of course a corporation. One thats like all corporations, made up of people. But it has a conflict of interest. This issue is crucial because it represents a sort of power grab which has so far been successful - its hijacked democracy successfully since the mid **s. *Now many of these issues have become critical.**For example, *** Americans demonstrably die each day who would not die if we knew the truth on this issue. But they are censoring it. **See https:**www.citizen.org*documents*PC*Gats*Backgrounder***-**.pdf and perma.cc*FX**-*M** and perma.cc*BB*B-M**U *I would like to speak with a *human* if possible. This is where AI just doesn't cut it!**My user name is @policyspacexyz
This particular issue has caused major disasters, for example: *.) The deaths of at least a MILLION poor Americans (*** every day) for a very bad very disturbing reason that would be avoidable. Its ******** up health care in the US, also public education and water privatization is caused by this.*.) a hugely costly financial crisis in **** that cost trillions of dollars (this bad deal caused it, a fact nobody knows, thanks to censorship, leading to repeats of the same mistakes that led up to that crisis in the recent days, were my tweets not censored its possible people might realize this) **Its also destroying our democracy's ability to be a democracy in dozens of areas, making it so it cant be one in fact. Which will make people mistakenly blame democracy and not this deal because they wont know we have not had actual democracy for ** yrs. Or arguably longer, a standstill went into place in ****. All of this should be a topic of discussion, instead its being squashed. Because a deal between oligarchs is planning to trade a lot of jobs and create low wage conditions, and lots of money is expected to be made by forcing good high skilled people to work for almost nothing.
Stopping censorship of this issue and all other similar issues and putting some mechanism into place so people acused of violating rules or spreading fake news can attach factual verification (references)to posts in a way where they cant be separated from the post that creates a rebuttable presumption of truth.
Nobody else seems to be tweeting about this because almost nobody else knows about it thanks to wide scale censorship on media to everything connected to it. Why? Is it in fact a global corporate coup, as its been described as exactly that by a noted MIT linguist (Noam Chomsky) and a Nobel Prize winning economist (Joe Stiglitz)? Or is that an overstatement? **The responses of these companies will tell us. Are they on the side of people, the people who they employ, as well as others, or are they off in their own world, one where money is the difference between life and death. Do companies love misery or not?
They don't offer much in the way of a functional interface for any kind of contact and everything they do offer is totally inappropriate for the resolution of questions like this so my guess is its intentional which is a bad omen for the future customer service goals of twitter. There needs to be accountability as to moderation actions (their system is being abused by crooks who are part of the extensive patronage networks of politicians who have this sense of false entitlement when their candidate lost, they cant seem to move on, instead they attack anybody who tries to resolve certain issues that speak to their candidate's and her husband's political mistakes) **Twitter seems to be allied with these people which causes problems. **There also needs to be a means to verify actual receipt of tweets and DMs. I get the feeling that their statistical reporting is inaccurate.
