I have had my twitter account since I was ** years old (****) and I am now ** years old. Last night, my twitter suggested for me to add my birthday on my profile. Once I added my birthday, I went to go change my project settings so only my followers can see it, but I was automatically locked out and received a message saying "In order to create a Twitter account, you must be at least ** years old. Twitter has determined that you don't meet these age requirements, so your account has been locked and will be removed from Twitter. Your active ad campaigns have been paused. If you think your account was locked in error, you can let us know." I submitted a ticket to have my account reviewed and sent in my driver's license but have not heard back yet. This is a huge mistake on Twitter's behalf. I am ** years old and have been using the website for ages. I have interacted with others who have reported the same issue and have been told that even after sending in a valid ID with verification of their age, Twitter told them they did not meet the age requirement. I would like my twitter account fully restored as soon as possible with all my tweets, followers, and following the same. I want the same abilities to tweet, direct messages others, and like, reply, and retweet tweets.*I trust that Twitter will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
