About ** minutes ago, twitter randomly asked for me to put in my birthday. After I put in my birthday, twitter proceeded to “lock” my account because I did not meet the age requirements of **, when I’m actually over **. I’ve also had twitter for a few years, so I don’t know why twitter would lock me out from my account. It also told me that twitter would terminate my account if I failed to send a verification of my age, and to do so I’d need to provide my username, full name, and a photo identification, like a drivers license. Twitter said they’d keep my information private and delete it once my account was unlocked again. But I don’t trust that. If I could get my account back that would be great, because this is absolutely pathetic. I’ve had twitter for a few years and I’m over **. My account should NOT be locked. I’d be grateful if you’d help.
I trust that Twitter will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
