I updated my birth year on my profile to correctly reflect [redacted], making me 18 years old. Shortly after, Twitter locked me out citing age requirements, stating users must be 13 to have an account. Despite providing my correct age, they threatened to permanently remove my account. I feel frustrated as I have used this account for years without violating any rules. I attempted to seek help by submitting a request and even sent a picture of my ID displaying my birthdate. Yet, this morning, they reiterated their decision to delete my account, claiming they couldn't verify my age. I am hopeful they will reconsider and unlock my account, as I believe I have adhered to all regulations and value the account's history.

I updated my birth year from '97 to '98 last week and my account got locked, assuming I was under 13. Tomorrow, I'm turning 20 and attend college. Despite sending Twitter photos of my valid driver's license and passport multiple times, I keep getting rejected for age verification. The math is clear, [redacted] - [redacted] is definitely over 13. I'm willing to resend my documents, but Twitter isn't accepting them. I tried reaching out to Twitter support through a new account but received no response. Please, I need assistance to restore my Twitter account, followers, and followed accounts. Can someone please clarify the issue?

My account @corahudson02 got locked on Friday as it indicated I didn't meet the age requirements, claiming I'm under 13, despite being 16 years old. I had noticed my birthday was missing from my account, so I added it to see the birthday balloons. I entered [redacted], my birth year, which then led to the account lock. The math checks out as I am indeed 16 when [redacted] is subtracted from [redacted]. I followed the instructions, provided my name, email, and sent a picture of my learner's permit as proof of age, but I haven't received a response. I am eager to have this issue resolved promptly and regain access to my account.

Hello. I encountered an issue with Twitter recently. Despite being 18 years old, an error message appeared stating that my account would be locked for being underage. Unfortunately, I couldn't access Twitter support to resolve this. After contacting them via email, I provided two images of my ID as per their request. However, they rejected my photos, stating that my account would be deleted. I'm unsure of my next steps as the email address I used seems unhelpful. I'm hoping to find a contact number to speak to a representative and regain access to my account. Any guidance on who to reach out to would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm feeling incredibly frustrated with Twitter. I tried to update my birthdate on my account, which I initially set incorrectly when I was 12 years old. Despite multiple attempts, the system wouldn't allow me to correct it. When I finally managed to update it to reflect the right date, my account got locked, assuming I'm still 12 instead of being 17 now. After submitting my ID, Twitter unlocked my account, but it’s stuck thinking I'm 12, constantly prompting me to agree to the Privacy Policy without access to make any changes. I need assistance with this issue before resorting to involving an investigation team.

I am currently unable to access my Twitter account because of age restrictions (thirteen in the UK), despite being nineteen years old. I completed the form stating that I do not require parental consent and provided proof of my age (passport). Twitter mentioned they would respond within a few days, and I have been checking my emails regularly, including spam folders, but it has been a week, and I have not received any updates. When attempting to resubmit the form, I receive an email indicating that there is already an open case. I am unsure why I have not received any communication, even though it has been longer than the stated timeframe.

My Twitter account got locked along with many others for updating my birthday. Despite being an adult now, Twitter is blocking me, considering me a minor and not allowing access. This happened because my account was made when I was underage, even though their Terms of Service did not cover underage users at that time. It's frustrating that users from ten years ago are being penalized for a rule that wasn't in place back then.

My account got locked due to an age requirement issue. Even though I've been using Twitter for 7 years and was born in [redacted], I was informed that my age couldn't be verified. Despite providing my driver's license and passport, they said my account would be permanently deleted. Unfortunately, with DMs disabled and no response to my emails, I can't reach Twitter Support. This situation feels very unfair since I haven't violated any rules; it seems to be a system error. I hope this can be resolved, and my account reinstated as it was before the suspension.

My Twitter account was recently locked due to an issue with my birth year. While updating my profile, I corrected the wrong birth year ([redacted] to [redacted]), but Twitter locked me out claiming I was under 13. This is causing significant problems for me as a 20-year-old journalism intern who heavily relies on social media for work. I have tried submitting my State ID multiple times through the unlock form last week, but my account remains locked. It's frustrating as this situation is now putting my career at risk. I urgently need Twitter to resolve this matter as soon as possible since my profession requires me to be active on the platform. I hope this can be sorted out promptly as I am not 13 but 20.

I am concerned that my account might be deactivated unfairly. I have been a loyal customer for a long time and never had any previous issues. However, when I tried to update my birthdate, my account got locked even though I am 19 years old. Despite sending numerous emails and making several phone calls with my ID for verification, I have yet to receive a resolution. It is important to me to maintain my account as I rely on it to stay in contact with many people.

I need assistance with my Twitter account. I have been waiting patiently for an email response. Despite being 19 years old and providing my ID to show I meet the age requirement, my account was locked out unfairly. I value my account, which I've had for a long time without any prior issues. I have tried reaching out through email and phone calls without success. Twitter is crucial for keeping in touch and conducting business, so I urgently need my account unlocked. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Twitter Support and team, I am RAPZOD, a 22-year-old recording artist, music producer, audio engineer, graphic designer, web designer, DJ, VJ, and the CEO of my record label, Æ.muziq Tranzmissions (AEmuziq.com). Additionally, I run an audio production department under Æ.muziq for online sound production for recording artists (Muziqbox.com). My label has a distribution deal with Symphonic Distribution, releasing songs to over [redacted] music platforms like Spotify, iTunes, Shazam, Tidal, Deezer, and iHeartRadio. I am seeking verification to build trust with other artists I connect with and would like guidance on how to achieve that on my Twitter account, @RAPZODmuziq. Thank you for your time, and I eagerly await your assistance. Best regards, RÆ.muziq

Hello Forbes Team, I would like to suggest an idea for a list showcasing the most multi-talented music artists. While there are many lists focusing on the highest paid musicians, skill and talent should also be recognized. For instance, not all successful artists are involved in various aspects like producing, audio engineering, and designing. As a 22-year-old CEO of a record label and a multi-talented artist myself, I believe artists who contribute significantly to the industry through various skills deserve more acknowledgment for their efforts and creativity. Thank you for your consideration. I'm eager to hear your thoughts on this potential list. Kind regards, RÆ.muziq (@RAPZODmuziq)

My Twitter account was permanently suspended around two months ago due to a misunderstanding with a bot mistaking a conversation as a threat. Despite multiple attempts to appeal, the automated system keeps upholding the suspension. I've been trying to resolve this for two months without any human intervention. If a person reviewed it, they'd see my harmless banter with my girlfriend about our D&D characters, followed by me saying "I'm going to kill you" with emojis. I expected a temporary lock until I removed the tweet, not a complete ban. I've had the account for four years and would appreciate having it reinstated.

I am disappointed by my experience with Twitter's enforcement team. They permanently disabled my account, "Joe Tweetsmith," for expressing a sentiment many Americans share. I posted a critical tweet about "Rocket Man," a reference to the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, just as President Trump had done. Despite being 80 years old, wheelchair-bound, and battling health issues like congestive heart failure, I was accused of posing a threat to Kim Jong-un and labeled as a potential terrorist by Twitter's enforcement. I appealed twice, but received the same response, stating that I had violated their rules. While I understand the need for rules, I find it unjust to silence an elderly person's voice on a global platform. I urge Twitter to reconsider their approach and show more compassion towards users like me.

I recently updated the birth date on our business account @The_HRX, and it got locked out immediately. I submitted my driver's license, but the name on it belongs to a former employee of Maritz Motivation Solutions. Our other handle is @CultureNxt, but we originally wanted @thehrx, which appears to be attached to an inactive account. My manager requires access to @The_HRX urgently for an important conference this week. I need help unlocking the account or using @thehrx if possible. The username is @The_HRX, and the password is thehrx!. We are a Fortune [redacted] company and need assistance promptly. Please reach out to me at 1-[redacted] or [redacted] Thank you.

My Twitter account, @ChaoticCruelty, has been mistakenly locked due to an age requirement issue. I am 19 years old and definitely above the minimum age of 13 to create a Twitter account. Despite providing my legal identity through my driver's license to prove my age, my request for support was still denied. I have been using Twitter since [redacted], so being mistaken for creating the account at the age of 6 is absurd. I want my Twitter account reinstated promptly as I have not violated any rules. You can reach me at [redacted]

I've been dealing with an issue on Twitter where I can't verify my age. I'm seventeen years old and got locked out on May 25th because I need parental consent. My parents have sent all the requested documents multiple times, but they keep getting rejected. It has been almost two weeks, and I feel frustrated with the lack of assistance. The Twitter support direct messages have been unavailable since they stopped locking accounts. I have reviewed the terms and services, and it seems that the age requirement was added in [redacted] without mentioning parents creating accounts for their children. All I want is to download my Twitter archive to preserve my memories. Trying to get help on the Twitter website is not fruitful, as the form I completed for login issues was directed to the wrong department. The options available are for parental consent or age verification, but Twitter is not accepting them. I have tried emailing support with no response, and the DM service is down without any phone number for support.

I recently corrected the birth year on my Twitter profile to April 25th, [redacted]. However, I was unexpectedly locked out of my account for supposedly being under 13, even though I'm 18. After submitting my photo ID, I was informed that it could take several days to regain access. Since I rely on Twitter daily and cannot afford to lose my account, I'm eager to restore access promptly. My Twitter handle is @dejong_a.

A user on YouTube with the handle @TheASMRCircus is harassing me and I believe their account should be permanently removed due to their behavior. They have a history of causing harm and distress to individuals, including attempting to influence a 16-year-old girl to ingest tape worms. I feel a strong sense of protection towards the girl, like she is my own daughter. This individual has a pattern of creating multiple accounts to evade blocks and continues to target me. I made a report to the authorities, and they advised reaching out to the platform to address this issue. It's crucial to send a clear message to this person that their actions are unacceptable.
