Good day****Please find below letter to merely inform*share with you my Turkish airline and Turkey experience .**This was my first time flying Turkish airline and also visiting the Country.****My original destination was Miami and Istanbul was a stopover, I made use of the free hotel offer that the airline offers to encourage tourist.***Depart Cape Town TK****, *feb. *pm. Because I took the Hotel offer I could not make use of the free tour through Instanbul as you have to choose between the two options.**We arrive (My friend Lindi) *am and go to the touristanbul help desk which offers the day tour and a guy called Mostafa helped us .****The kiosk was well branded with Turkish airline so may assumption is it’s affiliated with the airline ?***We booked and paid **** Lira which included return transfer from hotel to airport and city tour from *am to *pm. We were told we will get a guide and a van to explorethe city. Hop on hopoff take pictures ect.****Our driver arrived with his brother and said he will join us for the day . This is completely unprofessional in my opinion. The guide could hardly speak English which made the experience very irritating and disaapointed as we would ask questions about the city and sights but unfortunately no response.****We ended up paying for breakfast on the day for the guide and his brother , we also paid for their lunch aswell as ** Lira for parking. He told us this was normal and customary to pay for their meals and also parking .***This was not explained to us when we booked the day trip. No mention of parking fees and having to secure meals for the driver guide and his brother. This was so unpleasant and infringing in our personal space. Also let to argument and a bad taste in our mouth as all these extra cost starting to pile up which was not explained to us.****Due to all these unpleasantries we had enough of this con man and being used for our money. We ask driver to drop us rather at Hotel as we are upset now, this tour is not living up to what was explained and booked the morning. Lack of English* , paying for parking and paying for their meals!!***He dropped us at Hotel around **.**pm and had the nerve to asking for tip.* As this is custom in Turkey to tip driver after your. After ripping us off the whole day he have the nerve to ask for tip. We refuse offcourse and we ran to Hotel as we fear for our life now , this driver just wants our money.****We explained to Hotel staff what happened and they said we were conned and used. This was not a nice feeling.***These tours are indorse by Turkish airline and should live up to some level of professionalism. But It does not.* It rather made our experience of the Instanbul and Turkey very low and disappointed. This was both our first times to the city and to be treated so bad was not good.****Very sad and disappointed. What a bad experiences I share with everyone now. I hope you will investigate and fix this matter as no tourist deserve this experience. We work hard for our money and to be treated like that is unacceptable!!!***We then depart for Miami on *feb and what a disruptive flight.* We sat next to a drunk passenger who disrupt the whole flight insisting on wanting more alcohol and bothering everyone around him . He was sweating, loud and disruptive. We could not sleep or watch a movie as he was bothering everyone in our section and your airteamdid nothing about the situation.****They just spoke to the man *time and that was it.***He was rude and drunk and disorderly,* he kept knocking of the tray table making it so disruptive to sit in your seat as he was moving up and down and he smell so bad of all the wine.* wow what a experience!! Didn’t expect this level of service from the airline. Please check your records as we report this to the flight team. What if the man become violent or actually injured someone , does not make me feel safe at all.****We return from movie flying home TK **** which was delayed for *hoursand then We still sit in airplane in runway for almost *hours.* I don’t know what was the delay as it was not explained.****First time Turkish airline Firsttime visitor to your country and it was such a bad experience. Wish I could turn back! This has put Istanbul and Turkish airlines in a bad light and we were very disappointed .***Very disappointed customer***Ashley Kruger***A*****@***.com***************
