If you lost your luggage you should go to guest services in the airport and report it immediately. Once you do that you can submit a claim there. They will then give you a claim number. You will need that for future reference.
The issue in GetHuman-lolakha's own words
I was flying from Tashkent, Uzbekistan to San Juan, Puerto Rico with transit through Istanbul, Turkey and New York (JFK) by Turkish Airways till New York and by JetBlue from New York (JFK) to San Juan to join the cruise ship, as I work there. Turkish Airlines had a problem with check in system on my connecting flight in Istanbul and all the records with regards to my luggage tags starting from Istanbul to San Juan has been deleted. So I haven't received any luggage on arrival in San Juan. I was trying to contact customer service in Turkish Airlines in Istanbul and they do not have any record about my luggage, which is strange as I have opened the claim on my arrival to final destination and JetBlue advised that my luggage is still in Istanbul as all the records on the luggage tags has been deleted on arrival to Istanbul. I have opened the case with Turkish Airways with the following number **********, and I kindly ask you to locate the luggage as soon as possible as I do not have anything with me at the moment. All my clothes and other personal belongings are in these bags.*Thank you.*Awaiting email back.
