Hello, my daughter is traveling back to the UK from Hanoi around December 14th. She was supposed to return from Manchester on the 7th via Istanbul airport and then onwards to Hanoi. Her ticket number is [redacted][redacted] for her and Imogen Hughes. She received an email regarding a change on the Istanbul to Hanoi return leg, stating the flight was rescheduled to January 1st, which is not suitable as she needs to travel from Manchester on the 7th. I checked the website and found flights for the same journey departing on Monday the 6th and Sunday the 5th. Are these flights she can change to, like Manchester to Istanbul and then Istanbul to Hanoi? It appears the flight on the 8th was canceled, leading to significant disruptions to her trip back. This is the first time she will be back in 2.5 hours. Can you please let me know how we can quickly resolve this? She booked everything through mytrip.com and has already emailed them. Thank you for your prompt assistance. Les H.

Hello, I'm Katarina from Nikal Travel Agency. I am reaching out regarding two clients who unfortunately missed their flights from Prague to Istanbul to Antalya. They have purchased new flight tickets to Antalya. I have been informed that if they do not board the flight to Antalya, their return flights may be canceled. Is there any way to assist so they avoid purchasing new tickets again, considering they are part of a group booking? Additionally, two other clients missed their flight in Istanbul and have also bought new tickets to Antalya. Would it be possible for them to join your flight to Prague? The passengers who missed their flights are Mr. Macak with his wife, and Mrs. Michalkova with her husband. Their return flights booked with your airline are scheduled for November 14, [redacted], from Antalya to Istanbul (TK2405) and then from Istanbul to Prague (TK1771).

I am Kari Holst. My companion, Michael Long, and I had a booking reference UUXJM2 from Istanbul to Malaga on the 8th of November. We had reserved and paid for seats 8A and 8C, which were later changed at the gate to seats 5A and 5B without our consent. Despite being promised extra legroom, the new seats did not provide the additional space we were assured of. When I requested to receive our original seats back, I encountered rude behavior from the gate attendant. I am seeking a refund of [redacted].38 Turkish Lira, which we paid for the selected seats. Additionally, I expect an apology for the inconvenience caused.

My name is Sadaff N. I recently traveled from Toronto to Kabul with a layover in Turkey. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience on the Turkish airline flight. The airplane was extremely cold, and both of my kids became very ill. Despite my requests, the flight attendants did not address the issue. Upon reaching Kabul, I had to rush my kids to FMC hospital, incurring unexpected high expenses. This experience made our vacation unpleasant. I am currently waiting for my kids to recover before returning to Canada. I am willing to provide medical proof and ticket copies if needed. Our group consists of four travelers. Please contact me via email at [redacted] or at [redacted].

I am disappointed by the service received from Turkish Airlines during my recent trip from Belgrade, Serbia to Rangoon, Myanmar with two transfers. The trouble began at the Istanbul transfer, and in Bangkok, I was informed that one of our three bags was missing, which was unsettling. Even though I am relieved that the last leg of the journey was with Myanmar Airlines, only two bags made it to Myanmar. Unfortunately, one backpack, in blue with my name VANJA BOGDANOVIC, was lost somewhere between Bangkok and Myanmar. The airline staff seemed unsure of its whereabouts, which is frustrating as the bag holds priceless memories and belongings. I urge for assistance in locating and returning the missing backpack promptly. The flight numbers for each leg of the journey were BGD - IST TK [redacted], IST - BKK TK [redacted], and BKK - RGN 8M [redacted].

On 15 November [redacted], while traveling with Turkish Airlines, I unfortunately misplaced my two hearing aids. My reservation reference is TVIJFP, and the ticket number is [redacted][redacted]. During my journey from Athens to Istanbul on flight TK1846 (seat 30A) and then from Istanbul to Chicago on flight TK5 (seat 49K), I had the hearing aids in my pocket for security reasons. It is likely that they fell out at my seat on either flight or during the security check at the gate in Istanbul. At the gate in Istanbul for flight TK5, there was a security check where items were emptied onto a table. The process was chaotic due to the small and crowded space. After the pat-down and bag scan, I was rushed to collect my belongings. I am concerned that someone may have mistakenly taken my hearing aids or that they were lost during this process. I kindly request assistance in locating the hearing aids, whether they were found by security, cleaning staff, or elsewhere in the airport. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

On July 31, [redacted], two tickets were booked from "Safaryat Al-Sayed Office" in Kuwait for Jamilla Hussain Abdullah and Fatima Adel Jeragh for a trip from Kuwait to Istanbul with transit to Berlin on September 4, [redacted], on Turkish Airlines, costing a total of 350KD. However, the gate of departure in Istanbul was not printed on the tickets, causing confusion resulting in the missing of the flight. Subsequently, new tickets had to be purchased from Pegasus Airlines for [redacted] Euros. Upon the return trip from Berlin to Kuwait via Istanbul on September 15, [redacted], using the booked Turkish Airlines ticket, it was discovered that the tickets did not exist in the database, necessitating the purchase of new tickets for [redacted].36 Euros. As a result of these issues, a full refund for both originally booked tickets and compensation for the psychological and health impact are being requested due to a recent eye surgery undergone by Jamilla Hussain Abdullah.

Dear Sir, I hope this message reaches you in good health. I apologize for reaching out via email, but unfortunately, I have encountered some issues with your team's assistance. My nephew, Mr. Wadih Elie Khouri, a loyal customer of yours, will be traveling to Istanbul from Lebanon on November 21, [redacted], his birthday, at 21:30 on flight ME2827 operated by Turkish Airlines TK827 with two friends. I had requested your team's help in arranging a small surprise for him on the plane, a cake to celebrate his special day. However, they declined citing the absence of a miles & smiles card, despite his status as YOUR CUSTOMER. I reached out to the MEA catering director who noted that Turkish Airlines is responsible for the flight operation. Therefore, I kindly ask for your collaboration in making his birthday special onboard. Thank you in advance for your assistance, and I look forward to a positive response. Best regards.

I traveled on flight number TH33 from Amman to Istanbul. The flight departed at 6:10 AM from Amman, and I arrived in Istanbul around 8 AM. Upon checking my luggage at Istanbul Airport, I realized I forgot my backpack at the scanner. I returned promptly but couldn't find it. Despite seeking help from security, police, and information points, I didn't receive any assistance in locating it. I believe there may be cameras that could help identify who took it. The backpack contained valuable items, including two watches, medications, a Bible, a phone charger, cables, perfumes, and personal hygiene products. I appreciate any help in finding it. My name is Jose Gilberto L., and I reside at [redacted] Starbridge Ln, Grand Prairie, TX [redacted], USA. You can reach me at +1-[redacted]-[redacted]-17-99 or via email at [redacted] Thank you for your assistance. The backpack was lost at the scanner checkpoint leading to the shopping center.

Dear Turkish Airlines Customer Service, I am Samaneh, an Iranian student living in Denmark. I recently purchased a return ticket to Iran through Turkish Airlines. Due to the current stressful situation in my country, I kindly request your assistance. I understand and respect the airline's policies, but I'm hoping for an exception given the circumstances. I am unable to afford ticket changes at this time. With the ongoing turmoil and lack of internet connectivity in Iran, I am worried and would like to modify my travel plans. I would greatly appreciate if Turkish Airlines could assist me in either canceling the ticket, rescheduling it for a later date when the situation improves in Iran, or shortening my stay in Iran to reduce my stress and that of my family. I've provided my ticket details for reference. Looking forward to your response. Best Regards from Sonderburg, Denmark. Samaneh

Hello, my name is Ronan LE Lay, and I recently took multiple flights from Athens to Wellington with connections in Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, and Wellington. Unfortunately, upon my arrival in Wellington on 28.11, my bike and luggage did not arrive with me. I had booked and paid for the sports equipment in Athens with Turkish Airlines. I am currently in Wellington awaiting the arrival of my belongings, and the situation has caused me inconvenience, including having to spend two extra nights at the airport. I am seeking a refund or compensation for the service failure and the loss of time and energy I have experienced. Turkish Airlines assured me that the journey would be smooth and that my items would arrive in New Zealand without any issues. Thank you.

Dear Turkish Airlines, I would like to bring to your attention that two days ago, we booked a ticket for my mother, Larissa Ivanova, on the Almaty-Istanbul-Rome round-trip flights using your website. The booking reference is VHRD6H, and the ticket number is [redacted][redacted]. Unfortunately, there was an error in the ordering process where the names were inverted (first name should be Larissa and last name should be Ivanova). Additionally, we are unable to locate the option to print the ticket. We have tried contacting the provided telephone numbers, but they appear to be inactive or connected to a fax machine. We kindly request your assistance in resolving these issues promptly. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter. Best regards, Yuliya Ivanova and Giuseppe Usai

In August, I had to change my flight due to an unexpected emergency medical procedure in South Africa before returning to Atyrau, Kazakhstan. I was told airlines may waive fees with a medical certificate. Air Astana agreed but Turkish Airlines didn't address it. The $[redacted] fee was much more than my original $[redacted] ticket. I changed my ticket again and paid two full fees. The second was my cost. I fly Turkish Airlines annually to SA from Kazakhstan, twice this year. Ticket number: [redacted][redacted]. - W.S.

I recently attempted to modify my Turkish Airlines flight online from Apr 20 to this upcoming weekend, Dec 7. However, each time I attempt to do so, an error message pops up stating: "A technical error has occurred." On the app, it says: "We are unable to process your request, please try again later." I believe this issue stems from a previous attempt to change the flight wherein I reached the payment screen but decided to go back to select an earlier departure. Since then, I have been repeatedly encountering this error. My booking code is RUIAT2 with the surname Karatzas. Despite my efforts, I have been unable to get assistance, as even the Canadian booking office and Facebook have not been able to help. I am currently in Kenya and would appreciate any guidance on resolving this glitch.

Hello, I am interested in booking a ticket with Turkish Airlines from Evenes, Norway to Oslo, Norway, then on to Istanbul, Turkey, and finally to Sofia, Bulgaria. While navigating their website, everything seems fine, but I am having trouble finding information about the standard luggage allowance. I usually expect 1 checked bag at 20kg for all flights plus 1 carry-on at 8kg and a laptop bag. Could you please clarify the luggage limits for me? Thank you in advance.
