I created a PNR (TK/T7CD4Y) for my client. Initially, the outbound date was not confirmed, so I rebooked the inbound flight from London to Delhi. Unfortunately, my ticketing staff was unaware of the rules. When the outbound date was confirmed, we cancelled the London-Delhi segment and rebooked a new Gatwick to Delhi flight. However, there seems to be an Origin & Destination violation per TBO, and the cancellation charges are steep at USD [redacted]. I kindly ask for a review of these charges to proceed with the same ticket for both travelers: 1. Chawla/B.P. Mr. ([redacted][redacted]-43) 2. Khurana/A.Ms. ([redacted][redacted]-45) I will double-check in the future before issuing tickets. Your approval for both travelers would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, Good afternoon, we are a group of five friends who will be traveling from Malta to Cambodia in August. Unfortunately, we have realized that two of our group members have booked a different connecting flight from Istanbul to Bangkok. We all booked individually through your website. Is there any way we can change this so that we can all be on the same flights? We are specifically looking to change flight TK 64 to TK 58 to match the rest of the group's booking. However, when attempting to make this change, we are unable to see the other flight (TK 58) in the list of options. Our current flights are: - TK [redacted] (Malta - Istanbul) - TK 64 (Istanbul - Bangkok) – looking to change to TK 58 - PG [redacted] (Bangkok - Phnom Penh) with Bangkok Airways Only the two of us require the change from TK 64 to TK 58. Thank you for your help. Best regards, Valerie

Subject: Serious Complaint Regarding Recent Flight Experience To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with my recent flight experience on your airline. On July 21, [redacted], I was scheduled to travel from Delhi to Toulouse with a connecting flight in Istanbul. Unfortunately, my initial flight was delayed without explanation, causing me to miss my onward connection. While your staff at the airport rerouted me to a flight to Paris with the promise of a connecting flight to Toulouse, the entire experience was marred by confusion and lack of assistance. Upon arriving in Paris, my luggage was missing, and despite approaching both Turkish Airlines and Air France staff, I was left to navigate the situation on my own. I had to incur personal expenses for a hotel stay in Paris and missed a day of work in Toulouse. Even when finally boarding a flight to Toulouse the next day, my luggage arrived damaged. This entire incident has been incredibly distressing, and I expect better service from an airline of your reputation. I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and rectify the issues to ensure a more positive experience for your customers in the future. Sincerely, Nikita B. Toulouse

I have a reservation with Turkish Airlines for myself and my family traveling from Chennai, India to Prague, Czech Republic. Our booking reference is TMQ5PR. Our ticket numbers are [redacted][redacted], 03, 04, and 05. We are flying with a toddler and an infant. I need assistance with the following: 1. During our 7-hour layover at Bombay Airport, I would like to know about the Turkish Airlines lounge access there, as I am traveling with 2 small children and would appreciate a place for them to rest before our next flight. 3. Can you also confirm if complimentary in-flight meals are provided on our journey? I would greatly appreciate your help in addressing these matters. Thank you. Best regards, Manoj

I had reservations for a connecting flight with Turkish Airlines from Sarajevo to Dublin with a layover in Istanbul. Unfortunately, due to delays in Istanbul, I missed my connecting flight to Dublin along with 8 other passengers. I was rebooked on a flight the next morning but encountered issues with the hotel arrangements made by the airline. Despite being informed that the hotel expenses would be covered, I was unexpectedly charged €[redacted] instead of the €[redacted] quoted at the airport. This discrepancy in charges leaves me dissatisfied with the assistance provided. I seek guidance on how to pursue a refund for the extra expenses incurred during this inconvenience.

I misplaced my wallet during my trip with Peak Tour and Travels, which had important documents and currency. The incident happened on Turkish Airlines flight [redacted] from Delhi to Budapest via Istanbul on July 9th. I believe it was lost at Istanbul Airport, specifically at the international arrivals around 10:30 am. My wallet is red with the phone number of Agra printed on it. Despite reaching out to both customs and the lost and found department, I have yet to receive a satisfactory response. After contacting the Budapest airport, they mentioned that my wallet may be in their possession as of July 11th or 12th. However, obtaining confirmation or details on how to retrieve it has been challenging. My brother attempted to collect it during a layover in Istanbul on July 18th, but was unsuccessful due to transfers between departments. We are now back from our return flight from Moscow on July 21st. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer in this matter.

I am Adriano Benedetti, traveling with Turkish Airlines on 10/12/19 from Rome to Denpasar with a return on 01/14/20. I contacted Turkish Airlines about changing the name on my ticket and received a response confirming that the name on the ticket cannot be changed after ticketing. Any discrepancies between the name on the ticket and the passport may cause travel issues. Turkish Airlines mentioned that once the ticket is issued, it must adhere to the fare rules. I am concerned about potential boarding problems during check-in and wonder if I should consider rebooking my ticket. I hope Turkish Airlines can accommodate the name change since it is crucial for my insurance coverage. Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam, I wanted to share my recent experience flying with Turkish Airlines. I purchased a ticket to fly from Brussels to Dakar on August 7th. However, on the morning of the 7th, I was informed that I couldn't board the flight due to it being full. I had to stay in a hotel in Brussels and fly out the next day, August 8th, with an additional stop that was not part of my original itinerary. This caused me to arrive late in Dakar and miss an important business meeting, resulting in a very stressful trip. I hope we can resolve this matter according to airline regulations and customer rights. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Sincerely, Raphael NZUANZI MBIANDA

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my disappointment with the treatment I received at the Turkish Airlines Office in St. Petersburg, Russia. I purchased Ticket V64266 through Pentravel in South Africa for my trip from St. Petersburg to Istanbul on July 27, [redacted]. Unfortunately, during my stay in St. Petersburg, I fell ill with food poisoning and sought assistance at the Turkish Airlines Office on August 1. Despite my visible illness, I was offered only an expensive one-way ticket back to Istanbul, priced at approximately $[redacted]. Feeling helpless due to my deteriorating health, I reluctantly paid for the new ticket as the staff refused to help me make changes to my existing ticket. As a loyal Smiles and Miles Member who has flown to Istanbul three times this year, I found this lack of customer service disheartening. I believe Turkish Airlines should consider compensating me for the costly ticket I was forced to purchase and provide better training for their staff in St. Petersburg to improve customer satisfaction. I was hospitalized on August 2 and spent a week at Central Hospital in Kozyatagi, Istanbul. I hope for a favorable response and trust that as a MILES & SMILES Member, Turkish Airlines will address this issue promptly to maintain its reputation in the travel industry. Sincerely, Idrissa Ebrahim

I am a passenger with a disability and had a terrible experience on my recent flight from Miami to Istanbul on Flight 78. Despite requesting a wheelchair multiple times, I did not receive any assistance. Even after notifying the flight supervisor, Sharazam, and a female flight supervisor, no wheelchair was provided, causing me to struggle through the airport. Due to my artificial knee, my health was at risk, and the lack of support was distressing. When reaching out to customer service, I encountered further issues and was not given the assistance I needed. I am now seeking an upgrade to business class or accommodation in Istanbul due to my inability to continue the journey. I have involved my attorney, Mr. Jeff Cooper, Esquire, in hopes of resolving this matter promptly. The disregard for my situation as a person with a disability is unacceptable, especially considering the provisions of the American Disability Act of [redacted]. I hold your company to a higher standard of care and hope for a swift resolution. Please respond via fax at +66 [redacted] or leave a message at +66 [redacted]6. Thank you. Dr. Eglington

Dear Turkish Airlines Board Members, Top Management, and Staff, I would like to share my experience from August 22, [redacted]. My family and I were scheduled for a 9:55 PM flight from Istanbul International Airport to Baghdad International Airport. Despite completing all procedures and arriving at the gate 20 minutes before departure, we found it closed and were denied boarding. The gate staff's lack of assistance was disheartening, leading to us missing our flight. We encountered further challenges when trying to resolve the situation at the transfer desk. Unable to purchase new tickets due to payment issues, we had to rely on a friend to secure new tickets at a considerable cost of [redacted] USD. The absence of proper communication regarding the gate location and the unhelpful attitude of the airline staff marred our vacation experience. I intend to share my disappointing ordeal on social media to caution others about the service received from Turkish Airlines. The lack of announcements, signage indicating gate distances, and staff explanations concerning gate locations were significant shortcomings compared to other airlines worldwide. I hope this feedback reaches the relevant decision-makers for evaluation. I apologize for the lengthy message. Thank you, Eng. Omar Hashim

Dear Customer Service, I am writing in regarding PNR: RMZ8CM. Unfortunately, our visa application was rejected twice, which was quite disheartening as this trip was a gift from me to my mother. I spoke to your staff and was informed that in cases of visa refusal, only the taxes are retained, while the airport and flight fees are refunded in special circumstances. I kindly request you to reconsider our booking and provide a positive response. Regarding our MMT Booking ID nn[redacted][redacted], I want to highlight that this trip was a heartfelt gift from me to my mother and brother. By refunding the fees, I aim to reapply for the visa in three months and plan a journey with Turkish Airlines. I appreciate your understanding and look forward to a favorable reply. Best Regards, Kartika

Due to unexpected circumstances involving my father's health and his upcoming surgery, there is a possibility I may need to delay my trip. I am seeking clarification on my options at this time and do not wish to make any changes to the booking yet. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Vitaly

I need urgent assistance with a refund request. Dear Sir/Madam, I am inquiring about getting a refund for a double booking situation on the flight TK1032 from Sofia to Istanbul on September 4th and from Istanbul to Sofia on September 6th. Dr. Tahsin Beyzadeoglu mistakenly booked a flight for himself, resulting in having 2 seats on the same flight. We would like to transfer the extra spot to another guest, Mr. Ibrahim Cungu with passenger number U[redacted]9. Could you please either update the second booking under Mr. Ibrahim's name or process a refund to our card so we can rebook it in his name? We are frequent flyers with your airline and have always been happy with your services. Your assistance in resolving this issue promptly would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to your swift response. Thank you.

Hello Turkish Airlines, I am David Samuel Tholley, the Managing Director of Western World Travel Agency in Freetown. I have a passenger named Isha Kabia with Ticket Number [redacted][redacted] who encountered issues at Lungi International Airport. The passenger was travelling from Freetown to Havana with Turkish Airlines and returning from Havana to Dakar with your airline, then from Dakar to Freetown with Air Mauritanian. The passenger is seeking a refund, but the ticket issued by Dream Holiday Tours & Travel in Congo is deemed non-refundable. They request a letter from Turkish Airlines to proceed. The ticket was re-routed from Conakry to Havana to Freetown with a business class upgrade that cost USD 1,[redacted]. Kindly communicate with Dream Holiday Travel for the refund process to maintain smooth business operations. I hope to resolve this matter without legal intervention. Hello, I am a member of the "Miles & Smiles" program with Turkish Airlines. My member number is TK[redacted]53. Currently, I am in the Maldives on my honeymoon and scheduled to fly from Male (MLE) to Miami (MIA) on Monday, September 2nd. The flights are TK731 from Male to Istanbul and TK77 from Istanbul to Miami, arriving on Tuesday, September 3rd at 7 pm EST. Due to the approaching Hurricane Dorian in South Florida, I am requesting to change my flights to leave Male on Friday, September 6th at 22:45 and arrive in Miami on Saturday, September 7th. My wife, Natalia Burdaeva, and I are booked in business class with assigned seats on both flights. Considering the hurricane situation in Miami, I am asking for the change fee to be waived and to be seated together in business class on the rescheduled flights. Please confirm this change as soon as possible. You can reach me at [redacted]. Thank you, Daniel Wallach

Dear forum members, I had a concerning experience with my recent flight from YYZ to LAG via ATH/INT on August 28th. Upon arrival in Lagos, none of my seven checked bags made it with us. After being assured that my luggage was on flight code LOSPK [redacted], I returned to the airport twice before finally receiving my bags on August 31st. Unfortunately, two of them were damaged and items were missing, including a new HP laptop, a pair of shoes, and a wristwatch. Despite reporting the theft to Turkish Airlines and Nacho, no actions have been taken so far. The delay and the theft have been very distressing, and I am seeking a resolution promptly. Thank you in advance for your attention. Best regards, [initials]
