I traveled with Turkish Airlines on February 25 from Los Angeles to India and back on April 29, [redacted]. Unfortunately, both flights were delayed, leading to a challenging 24-hour stay at Istanbul airport with my kids. The customer service was very poor, with airport staff struggling to communicate effectively in English. Despite requesting a wheelchair due to my child's health issues (kidney problems, asthma), it was not provided at the airport in Turkey. Additionally, I had booked a special Hindu vegetarian meal, but on the flight from Delhi to Istanbul, I was served non-vegetarian food, which was upsetting. To stay at a hotel, I was charged $[redacted] for a transit visa for four people. I am seeking reimbursement for the transit visa fee and compensation for the mental and physical stress caused by the flight delays. If I do not receive a satisfactory response promptly, I will be consulting with my attorney. Please advise on the process to seek reimbursement and compensation. Thank you, Jagjeet S.

Dear Sir/Madam, My wife and I, both senior citizens, have made flight bookings for the first time with your airline from Mumbai to Berlin on May 9, [redacted], and Helsinki to Mumbai on May 26, [redacted], using booking reference U3YTBY in business class. I was only able to complete the web check-in 24 hours before the flight. Today, at 06:30 on May 8, [redacted], I attempted to select our seats and was disappointed to find that all seats were taken except for scattered ones, leaving us without a choice. I accessed the seat selection page precisely at 06:30 on May 8, [redacted]. I am surprised that all seats were already occupied at the exact opening time and puzzled as to why we were not seated together under the same booking reference. As elderly passengers, it is crucial for us to be seated together for support during the journey. We are truly disheartened by this experience and hope you can allocate seats together, preferably one by the window and one in the aisle, for all our flights. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. This is a humble request for your help. Thank you. Best regards, Saktidas Bandopadhyay

Dear Turkish Airlines Team, I am writing to address a troubling experience on my recent flight with booking reference number RVLGDF from New Delhi, accompanied by my colleague, Vikram Joshi. Upon arrival at the airport, we were informed of a reservation issue despite having confirmed tickets with assigned seats. After waiting in line for an hour, we were informed that our tickets were in the system but our connecting flight had been changed without prior notice. We expressed the urgency of reaching Venice for meetings but were met with unhelpful responses and a lack of assistance, even when requesting lounge access during a 6-hour layover in Istanbul. Despite our efforts to address the situation, the Turkish Airlines staff we encountered were rude and unprofessional, showing a disregard for customer service. This experience disrupted our business plans significantly. I am requesting a full compensation of INR 1,00,[redacted] for the inconvenience caused. Your prompt attention to this matter and reimbursement within the next 14 days would be greatly appreciated. For further communication, please contact me at (91-[redacted]). Thank you, Bhavna Kakar

Dear Sir, I am writing to report an unfortunate experience I had while traveling from Kolkata, India to Bamako, Mali. My name is Saurav Rungta, and I hold Passport No. L[redacted]. The relevant details for my journey are as follows: CSR PNR no. RZF62R, Air PNR A2Q87, and Booking ID [redacted]0 (ticket booked through Ixigo website). On 07.05.[redacted], I boarded Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight BG-96 from Kolkata to Dhaka, Bangladesh scheduled for 20:35 hours. Upon arrival in Dhaka, Turkish Airlines officials denied my boarding on flight TK-[redacted] departing at 06:25 on 08.05.[redacted] for Istanbul, Turkey, without providing a clear explanation. They then arranged for my return to Kolkata on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight the next morning, i.e., 08.05.[redacted]. I am seeking clarification on the incident, a refund for the disrupted journey, and appropriate action against the involved Turkish Airlines officials. For further assistance or information, please reach out to the Biman Bangladesh Airlines transit desk. Best regards, Saurav Rungta

I booked a ticket with Turkish Airlines in March to fly to Tel Aviv and back to the United States. Due to a change in plans with my roommate, I need to return to the US earlier to prepare the room. I attempted to change my return date, but the cost is significant. I am a college student relying on financial aid, managing my finances alone, and finding it challenging to cover the additional fee. Any assistance in reducing this fee would be highly valued. Thank you for your cooperation.

My friend and I had booked a flight from Europe to the states for July. We received an email notifying us of a slight 10-minute change in the flight time and were asked to confirm, change, or cancel the flight. Despite the minor adjustment, we tried to confirm the flight but only found options to change or cancel it. Unfortunately, canceling would result in a loss of around $[redacted]. When we attempted to change the flight, the only available options were the ones we had already booked. After clicking on these flights and selecting "continue," we received an error message stating that there were no flights meeting our criteria. We are unsure how to proceed in order to confirm our booking, select seats, or potentially seek a refund to rebook elsewhere due to these unexpected circumstances. Thank you.

I, Marium S., made an emergency flight booking due to the sudden passing of my mother-in-law. With my children, Bareerah and Alizah, we were unable to check them in online. At Heathrow Terminal 2, an airport staff member directed us to the Business Class desk to expedite our check-in. Unfortunately, upon arrival, no one was there to assist us. Despite explaining our situation, we were told it was too late to board together. I had to send my husband and daughter ahead to attend the funeral, while I was left behind to book a flight for the next day. When I inquired about alternatives, I was informed that changing airlines would void my ticket. Upset by the lack of understanding and assistance, I request a review of my return flight on 8.06.19 with my children and reimbursement of the £[redacted] additional one-way flight cost incurred due to Turkish Airlines' poor service. I seek a resolution to this issue promptly to avoid further escalation. Regards, Marium S.

I would like to commend the Turkish Airways employees Yaris Sulim Kusoglu and Furkan Basak for their exceptional help in retrieving my husband Gerardo Concepcion's shoulder bag, which he left on the airplane during our flight from Manila Airport to Istanbul on April 20, [redacted]. The bag contained his important belongings such as his passport, money, credit cards, and watch. Despite the time pressure of our connecting flight to Greece, they went above and beyond to assist us. I believe the airline's ability to handle such situations lies in having dedicated staff like them. We are truly grateful for their outstanding service, and I believe Mr. Kusoglu and Mr. Furkan have a bright future with your company. Thank you once again for resolving this issue efficiently. I am writing to express my disappointment in the sudden change of my flight from Sharm El Sheikh to Istanbul, resulting in missing my connection to Manchester on June 30th. Originally scheduled for 12:30am, the flight was rescheduled for 3:35am, extending my layover in Istanbul from 3 hours to 6 hours. This change not only affects my travel plans but also causes me to miss my pre-booked train from Manchester airport to my final destination. I booked this flight on March 24th with booking reference JCUWFX specifically for the shorter layover, only to have it changed later. I am frustrated that I now have to spend extra time at the airport and incur additional expenses due to a non-refundable train ticket. I believe that some form of compensation from the airline is warranted, perhaps access to the airport lounge during the extended layover. Despite alerting Edinburgh customer services about the situation and receiving a new itinerary from Manchester, my concerns have not been addressed appropriately. I hope for a prompt resolution and acknowledgment of my situation. Sincerely, Elaine K.

Dear Sir/Madam, I contacted your helpline to request a bassinet for two upcoming flights in June and August. I am disappointed with the lengthy process and confusion that ensued. Initially, there was a delay in identifying my flights and processing the request. Then, I was informed that the airline might not provide the bassinet, which was later changed to a possibility with no guarantee. Despite paying for extra legroom seats, I was advised that the bassinet request is still pending and its availability is uncertain. Furthermore, I cannot receive a refund for the legroom seats if the bassinet is unavailable. I am frustrated by the high phone bill of nearly [redacted] euros for the 40-minute call made from Shanghai to your Madrid offices. Isn't there a toll-free helpline given the costs of flights? The extended wait times were unsatisfactory, and I am not inclined to call back as instructed. I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter via email or phone call. Regards, S.G. +[redacted][redacted] [redacted]

I have been frustrated with Turkish Airlines as I have been attempting to reach out for several days. I emailed a few days ago but have not received a response. I also tried using the chatline and calling without success. I have been attempting to adjust my flight schedule from Tel Aviv to London for flights TK811 and TK1989. I am hoping to change it to the afternoon of May 25th or May 26th, if it is feasible. I am eagerly awaiting your response. Best regards, David Plato

I need help locating my lost property, specifically 2 x Blue LEKI Hiking Poles, that were attached to my red rucksack in the hold luggage of my flight TK1983 arriving at Heathrow Airport on Thursday, 16th May [redacted]. When my bag arrived, the poles were missing. Turkish Airlines Lost Baggage provided me a form to contact you online and I have submitted the required documents. I was unaware that I needed to report to Global Baggage as well, as the Turkish Airlines agent did not inform me, resulting in me not having a WorldTracer 10 digit number. After contacting Global Baggage, they directed me back to Turkish Airlines due to the missing reference. The reference number provided by Turkish Airlines is CASE ID:[redacted]. I am dissatisfied with the service and advice received thus far, and I kindly request your assistance in tracing and returning my lost items.

I want to report a concerning experience I had with Armada VIP Tasimacilik at Istanbul Airport and Park Inn by Radisson Istanbul after my Turkish Airlines flight TK12 on 5/7/19 was delayed, causing a missed connection. Directed to the "Red Turkish Hotel Desk," operated by Armada, they offered a pricey option at Park Inn by Radisson for $[redacted], which ended up charging $[redacted]. The lack of receipt and hidden discussions left me uneasy. Looking for advice on compensation for visas I had to purchase due to the flight delay. Sharing this to shed light on my encounter. I flew on TK [redacted] from Mahe Island, Seychelles to Istanbul on May 22nd, arriving on May 23rd. I left my reading glasses on the plane at seat 17J. Despite my efforts, I couldn't locate the Turkish Airline Lost Property Office at Istanbul airport. I had a connecting flight to London Heathrow and ran out of time to search for my glasses. They are black with silver and black arms. I contacted the lost and found office via email and they promptly located my glasses. Unfortunately, they are unable to send them to me. I would either have to return to Istanbul airport or arrange for a courier to collect them on my behalf, providing all my details for identification. Due to the expenses involved, it seems like my glasses might remain lost.

My experience with your airline has been extremely disappointing. On flight [redacted], my bag was delayed for four days, returned with the lock broken and my clothes searched. Then, during my recent trip from Madrid to Houston with a layover in Istanbul (flight [redacted]), I encountered unprofessional customer service when running late for my connecting flight. The staff member at the desk provided little help and was not accommodating. Despite trying to rush through security, I missed my flight due to liquids in my bag that were not properly checked. The staff member offered no solutions and only gave me a phone number, claiming it was my booking agent. I had to spend $[redacted] on a new flight with American Airlines to get home. This experience has left me severely disappointed, especially considering the cost and inconvenience. I am seeking compensation for the ordeal I have faced. Reservation code: UURA2L

Dear Customer Service, I am contacting you regarding a recent situation with my round trip ticket from San Francisco to Dhaka. Unfortunately, I missed my connecting flight in Istanbul on May 20th due to a delay in the previous flight. The airline rescheduled me to fly the next day on TK712 to Dhaka and I completed this journey. Now, as I am trying to book my return flight on August 2nd from Dhaka to San Francisco through Istanbul, I received a message stating my flight's date or time has changed. I am unsure if my return ticket is still valid or if there have been any modifications. I am seeking clarification on the status of my booking and guidance on how to proceed with my seat reservation. I appreciate your urgent assistance in this matter. Sincerely, Kishwar-E Hasin

I am reaching out regarding the lost baggage with reference number BUDLO14775. I recently spoke with a Turkish Airlines representative who informed me that the lost bag was returned to LOT and then delivered to the Corinthia Hotel in Budapest on May 19th. However, only one bag was returned. They mentioned that, as per International Transport Laws, LOT is responsible for ensuring the bag reaches Thomas Conine in the United States along with any associated fees. I need confirmation if the additional bag was indeed delivered to the hotel in Budapest. If it was, I kindly request it to be picked up and sent to Thomas Conine at [redacted] Crystal Court, Houston, TX [redacted]. Your assistance in locating the missing baggage is crucial. I have all the necessary documentation, including the baggage inventory form and pictures, and below are the original report and tag numbers. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Subject: Disappointing Experience with Turkish Airlines Dear Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent flight experience with Turkish Airlines. On May 29th, I traveled from Dublin Airport to Alexandria Airport (HBE) on flights TK1978 and TK696. Unfortunately, several issues occurred during this journey. Firstly, the check-in staff at Dublin Airport were impolite, causing discomfort for myself and my family. Additionally, there was a delay of 1 hour and 50 minutes, not the 1 hour and 10 minutes initially communicated. Upon arrival in Alexandria, my baby's buggy was damaged, and my luggage did not make it onto the second flight from Istanbul to Alexandria. After considerable inconvenience and expense, my luggage was eventually retrieved, but it showed signs of mishandling. This experience has been highly disappointing for a loyal customer like myself. I hope that Turkish Airlines will address these issues promptly and ensure improved services in the future. Sincerely, Nagwa G.

I flew from Frankfurt to Islamabad via Istanbul on 29/05/[redacted] and left two bags at check-in. I then purchased a ticket to Bari, Italy, from Istanbul and flew there the next morning. Unfortunately, I forgot about my baggage headed to Islamabad. When I realized this in Italy, I contacted my brother to check at the Islamabad airport, but the staff informed him they did not have any record of my baggage. I provided them with a picture of the baggage ticket from Frankfurt, but they were unable to locate it based on that information. I am lost and seeking assistance in locating my missing baggage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
