Hello, I am Venous Azodi, and I will be traveling with my mother, Farideh Dadgar, on April * from SFO airport. My ticket number is ************* (e-ticket*RZ**YK). We have a connecting flight to Tehran via IKA airport. I recently received an email from Turkish Airlines regarding the airport change from Ataturk to Istanbul Airport. I want to confirm if both my flights will depart from the same airport and inquire about any potential time changes. Despite my attempts to contact customer service, I have not been able to obtain any information. Please provide me with details regarding my flight changes. Thank you.

I recently flew with Turkish Air from Gatwick, London to Doha via Istanbul on February 22, [redacted]. Unfortunately, our flight from London was delayed, causing us to miss our connecting flight to Doha in Istanbul. After a lengthy process of clearing security and other formalities, we were put up in a hotel overnight, but our booked luggage remained in Istanbul. Our essential medications were in that luggage. To facilitate the process of retrieving our belongings and ensuring we had our medications for the next day's rescheduled flight, we were told to obtain a Visa, which we did by paying £40 each. We were informed that this fee would be refundable in London with the appropriate evidence. Despite my efforts, I have been unable to find the correct place to seek this refund, despite having all the necessary documentation ready. I am hoping for guidance on how to proceed, either by post or email, as I find it easier to do so. Thank you for your assistance. Warm regards, Mohammad Aslam MBE 84 Falconwood Road Croydon CR0 9BD Mobile: [redacted]3

I am writing to express my disappointment with Turkish Airlines. I had booked a connecting flight from Birmingham to Dubai on March 11th, with a subsequent flight to Chandigarh. Flight TK1968 departing from Birmingham was delayed by 30 minutes, causing me to miss my connecting flight from Dubai to Chandigarh. Despite assurances from the staff, the delay led to a missed connection. After a series of frustrating encounters at the transfer desk and with customer care, I was left to sort out alternative arrangements, incurring expenses for a new flight to Chandigarh and other associated costs. This experience not only caused significant inconvenience but also resulted in a loss of a full day of my trip. I am seeking appropriate compensation for these issues.

Dear Customer Service, My wife, Marie Devriese, and I, Marc Dauw, missed our connection due to a 3-hour delay departing from Kathmandu. Our first flight was TK727 on 09-03-[redacted] from Kathmandu (KTM) to Istanbul Ataturk Airport (IST), followed by connecting flight TK1955 on the same day from IST to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS). We did not have any additional connecting flights. After our replacement flight TK1951 on 10-03-[redacted] from IST to AMS, we arrived home a day late. In Istanbul, we were required to purchase visas for 50 euros each to pass through customs and get essential information at the Turkish Airlines office to arrange hotel accommodation for the night. Despite these challenges, we received no assistance upon landing. We are requesting compensation of €[redacted] per person, in addition to the €50 visa fees, as a resolution for the inconvenience caused. Please see the attached documentation for verification. Sincerely, Marc and Marie Dauw-Devriese Tuinkersstraat 8 [redacted] Ruddervoorde Belgium

As a longtime customer of Turkish Airlines, I am reaching out about a recent travel experience that left me dissatisfied. On February 11, [redacted], my journey from Tirana, Albania to Chicago via Istanbul resulted in my baggage being delayed, and upon its arrival, I discovered that several pieces of jewelry were missing. Despite not having receipts, the value of the missing items far exceeded the offered compensation of $[redacted] USD. To date, March 18, [redacted], the promised reimbursement has not been deposited into my account at White Sands Federal Credit Union in El Paso, despite providing all necessary banking details. With an upcoming trip in April, I am eager for a resolution, possibly in the form of a discounted fare or upgrade. The case reference is: CASE ID:[redacted] // DAH ELPUA21901. Having been informed that my case is closed, I am now seeking assistance from senior management to address this matter promptly. I appreciate any help in expediting this process. Thank you in advance for your attention to this issue. Sincerely, Patricia Love

I am reaching out to address an incident with my flight departing from the UK to Istanbul on *.** Thursday *st November. Despite reporting my lost bag upon arrival and being informed the next day that it was found, it wasn't delivered until Sunday morning, hours before my departure. This caused significant inconvenience during my *-day trip as I only had traveling clothes. I am seeking compensation in the form of two Business Class Return Tickets valid for a year to make up for the disruptions. I hope to receive a prompt response via email as I document this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, R.N.B.

On 21/03/[redacted], my fiancee was scheduled to board flight TK1842 departing at 5:35 am from Eleutherios Venizelos. Unfortunately, she arrived at 5:00 am and was called over the speakers at the airport. Despite rushing to the suitcase counter, she was denied access to her luggage and informed she needed to speak to a supervisor. After consulting with a supervisor, she was informed she could not board the flight. She inquired about boarding without her luggage but was once again denied boarding. Although she was late and at fault, the lack of sympathy and assistance from the airline was disheartening. This experience contrasts with other airlines where passengers are often provided with solutions in such situations. As first-time customers, we expected better treatment after choosing your company. It's important for supervisors to understand that the cost of flight tickets is significant, and passengers appreciate when efforts are made to assist them when such issues occur.

I am struggling to connect over the phone due to the options provided and being asked for unfamiliar information. My itinerary number is #[redacted][redacted] with Flight #[redacted] to Dubrovnik. Traveling solo makes me anxious as I dislike Miami airport and rarely travel alone. Previous communication with an individual with a strong accent was challenging for me. I have been reserved bunk seats for the long flights and aisle seats for the shorter one to Dubrovnik. Lacking flight numbers and tickets, I want to ensure my security. I cannot complete this online and wish to know about alternative flights from Ft. Lauderdale, a more convenient airport for me. Similar travel times would be ideal to avoid the hassle and cost of traveling back and forth to Miami. Having all necessary information at hand would greatly reassure me. I am unable to access the information online. Please assist. Thank you, S.J.B. [redacted]

I need to reconfirm our reservations for the ship, but the website is showing that the flight has changed by 5 minutes. When I tried to confirm it, I received a message saying my PRN has expired and that I must complete the process through the call center. Our booking is under the reference SXAWLR for Bryan D. and Linda A. H. Turkish Airlines should acknowledge that I accept the flight time change and reinstate the PRN SXAWLR or provide me with a new PRN along with the updated flight details while retaining our seats and reservation.

I made an error when booking my tickets last week for the Riga-Istanbul-Tbilisi route. I intended to book for 18.06-30.06 but mistakenly booked for 18.06-30.07 instead. I purchased 5 tickets with this incorrect date for the return flight. I am requesting assistance to re-book the return flight for June 30 instead of July 30 without having to pay the full price again. Despite being informed by Customer Service that I have lost the tickets and need to buy new ones, I believe as the airline, changing one flight to another should not incur significant costs. I have explained that there are no changes to passengers, just a date error from 30.07 to 30.06. I have been a loyal customer, purchasing 36 tickets this spring for various destinations. I chose your airline despite other options due to your marketing efforts and hope you can make this simple adjustment for me.

Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Kaur Gurpreet, and I am an Indian citizen. I am reaching out regarding flight booking and visa information. My intention is to travel to Havana, Cuba via Turkish Airlines flight [redacted] from Hanoi to Istanbul, with a connecting flight from Istanbul to Havana on Turkish Airlines flight [redacted]. During our layover in Istanbul, we will have a 20-hour wait. We also plan to book our return ticket with Turkish Airlines. I am seeking clarification on whether we can travel from Hanoi to Havana with a Cuba tourist card if we book this flight. We are traders operating in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, holding a three-month multiple business visa for Vietnam. I kindly request timely information on the visa requirements. I have attached a travel card and flight itinerary screenshot for your reference. Your prompt response will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Good morning, my name is Mateo Krolo. I purchased a ticket with my credit card for Ms. THI THUY NGAN LE. The ticket number is [redacted][redacted], and the booking reference is S4PIQQ. I noticed a notification at the bottom that states the total cost of the ticket has been collected using the payment method selected during checkout. There is also a reminder that when paying with a credit card, the cardholder must confirm availability of the card along with a valid government ID (Passport, birth certificate, driver’s license, marriage certificate, etc.) before the flight at the sales offices or check-in counters. Since Ms. THI THUY NGAN LE lives in another country, it will be impractical for her to present my credit card. I am concerned if the ticket is paid for and if she will need to show my credit card at check-in. Please provide guidance on this matter. Best regards, Mateo Krolo

We had booked flights from Cape Town to Istanbul and Bari, with the return journey from Zagreb via Istanbul to Cape Town. Our booking reference is TPXHCQ. We accepted the offer for a free hotel night and were instructed to email [redacted] to make a reservation. Despite sending emails in the second week of January and then again in early February, we did not receive any responses. Furthermore, when we tried to change our flight due to a 15-minute time difference causing weekday rush hour issues, we encountered difficulties. Despite multiple attempts to switch to the Saturday flight online, it was not possible. Contacting Customer Services resulted in a delayed response directing us to call the Cape Town office. Unfortunately, after trying nine different numbers without success, we turned to the Johannesburg office, which was unable to assist. With hotels in Istanbul filling up, the inability to change our flights, get through to the office, or receive responses to emails is highly unsatisfactory.

I am concerned about our reservation at the Side Terrace Elite Resort in Turkey for 7 nights from April 20th to April 27th. We confirmed the hotel booking after paying for our Turkish Airlines flights and receiving a positive confirmation for our travel dates. Now, we are faced with the dilemma of either receiving a full refund for our flights, hotel, and car rental expenses or changing the departure and arrival airports due to an issue on your end. It is not feasible for us to shorten our stay to only three days. Our nearby airports are in Venice, Italy, Ljubljana, Slovenia, or Vienna, Austria. We eagerly await your prompt response with a satisfactory resolution to this inconvenience caused by Turkish Airlines. We are disappointed by the way this situation has been handled. Our flight details are as follows: Departure: Graz to Antalya on April 20th Return: Antalya to Graz on April 27th

My flight from India's Delhi airport to Istanbul was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight to Edinburgh. I had to spend the night in Istanbul and purchase a visa at the airport for thirty dollars. Subsequently, I had to be re-routed to Heathrow to catch another flight to Edinburgh, adding a full day to my journey home. This delay was quite challenging and resulted in me having to take an extra day of annual leave from work. Originally scheduled to return on Tuesday, March 12th at 3:30 PM, I didn't arrive at Edinburgh airport until Wednesday, March 13th at 4:00 PM. I would like to know if there is a form I need to fill out to request reimbursement for the cost of the Istanbul visa and for the day of delay.

Hello, We are currently experiencing difficulties managing our booking on your website. Despite trying various surnames, such as Lola Katja Lou Herenger-Choupay and Henrik Høegh Jensen, we receive an error stating that the surname cannot be found. Additionally, we are looking into changing our departure from Bogota to Bangkok. We recall purchasing the option to modify both the departure date and location during our initial ticket purchase to Bangkok. We are contemplating shifting the departure date by 10-14 days, ensuring the layovers are in visa-exempt countries. Could you please confirm if changing our departure from Bogota is feasible and if any additional fees would apply given we previously paid for ticket modifications? You can reach us at [redacted] or [redacted] Alternatively, please contact us via WhatsApp at +[redacted]. A timely response is crucial for our Colombia travel plans, and we appreciate your assistance. Thank you in advance. Regards, Lola and Henrik

Hello, my name is Wosilat Ibiyemi. I am traveling from Dubai to Istanbul and then to Boston, USA. I arrived at the airport in Dubai at 4 am for my 7:15 am flight. Although I checked in upon arrival, my boarding pass did not have a gate printed on it. Despite asking three different airport workers, I was directed to keep an eye on the screens, but no gate information was displayed. I stayed at gate D15, but the plane left without any announcement being made. Another passenger informed me that the flight departed from gate D16, which left me confused as no information was provided on the screens. Throughout my wait, there were no gate announcements displayed. Thank you, Wosilat Ibiyemi Flight number: TK [redacted] Seat number: 33K

Good evening, My name is Ejiro Maryjane Unuagba, a student at New Vision University in Tbilisi, Georgia. During my journey to school in March, my luggage exceeded the allowance, and I used Turkish Airline's cargo service with baggage code [redacted]1 (80kg) for my personal effects. Although my luggage arrived in Tbilisi on April 1st, I have been unable to collect it. The cargo service in Lasare keeps postponing, asking me to return multiple times without providing my belongings. Today, I was informed to come back on Wednesday. I urgently require my luggage as it contains all my belongings. Additionally, I was informed that I need to pay an additional fee to retrieve my bags, despite already paying for the cargo service. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

During our journey from India to LAX with a group of 8 people, a missed connecting flight in Istanbul led to a 24-hour layover. To secure accommodations, we had to pay for visas due to the airline's error. This unexpected expense caused us to miss work commitments upon arrival. I kindly request a refund for the visa fees and reimbursement for lost wages. Your prompt attention to this matter is appreciated.
