Hi,**I am writing as I am extremely unhappy with my experience on Turkish Airlines. **I booked a connecting flight to Dubai from Birmingham to travel on **th March. My flight was due to arrive in Dubai at **.** and from there I had a flight with Indigo to Chandigarh, departing Dubai at **.**.**My flight reference TK**** was delayed leaving birmingham by ** mins and the staff ensured me that they would make the time up on the flight and not to worry about my connecting flight. **The flight was looped over Istanbul repeatedly and we finally arrived at **.**, myself and my husband ran to gate *** for the connection but were advised the gate was closed.**We eventually found the transfer desk who booked us on the next flight, I advised them I would miss my flight from Dubai to Chandigarh but they told me they did not care. **I spoke to a customer care team who advised me to visit the transfer desk again as they would give me a refund. I queued up for another ** minutes to be told to call custoner care. As I am stuck in Instanbul I was unable to make this call. **After being sent back and forth for * hours I am now tired, I have booked my Dubai to Chandigarh flight for Wednesday myself and paid £*** for this, I will also have to pay a no show fee to be eligible for the return from Chandigarh to Dubai. **I will also need to book an overnight stay when I arrive in Dubai which I will need to pay for as well as taxis ans food.**On top of this I have lost an entire ** hours of my trip. **I am really hopedul you will be able to provide me with the compensation I deserve.
