Hello, **Today i boarded your airline flight number TK*** from Lagos to Istanbul my flight landed at *.** AM and I had a connecting flight TK **** from Istanbul to London Gatwick Airport.**Unfortunately as soon as we landed I Had to join a very long queue for International transfers security, I spent an hour on the queue and i told a member of your staff that i had a connecting flight which was due to leave within the hour, his reply to me was and i quote "everyone on this queue has a connecting flight". After I cleared security check I ran as fast as i could to my gate but unfortunately it was closed.**I was told to go back to transfers helpdesk. I spoke to a number of staff member and they all passed me on from one staff member to another and when i asked if i could speak to the manager? everyone I spoke to claimed they were the manager. I finally spoke to a Mr. Mehmet at *** who identified himself as the supervisor and he said it was my fault i missed my flight that I had to pay a penalty fare which was €***. **I told him I could not afford the aforementioned amount and he said i could sleep in Turkey if i wanted and went on to ignore me. I spoke to a few more staff member which they all said it was my fault i missed my flight and did not want to listen to my explanation. I also met a few people who were in the same scenario as i was and they we all complained that will never fly with Turkish airline any longer as the customer service we recieved was appalling.**I am writing this email so as my case me be investigated and I get a refund of the €*** i paid plus inconvenienced caused to me. **I look forward to your reply.**Kind Regards **Taiwo Adeyemi
