I am traveling to Istanbul next Sunday with my partner. We have already purchased our return tickets through a Spanish travel agency. The issue we are facing is that my partner's name and surname are in a different order on the ticket compared to her passport. While everything is spelled correctly, the order is different. The ticket only shows her name in the name field, whereas her passport displays both her name and her single surname. Additionally, the ticket includes both her single and married surnames in the surname field, while her passport only has her married surname. We were informed that canceling the ticket would result in no refund, so we are unsure if this will cause any problems during our trip.

I would like to report a lost luggage incident during my recent flight from New Delhi to Rome via flight TK0717/TK1861 on October 15th. The baggage with tag TK392750 was not received upon arrival in Rome on October 16th. I filed a lost luggage complaint at the Rome airport with query number (FCOTK15068). Despite promises of delivery by the 17th and then the 20th in Venice, my luggage has not been returned. After contacting customer service, I was informed that the luggage was sent back to New Delhi airport without further updates. This situation has caused me great inconvenience during my travels in Europe, and I request prompt assistance and compensation for the days without my luggage. Kindly reach me at +[redacted]78.

Dear Turkish Airlines, I am writing to request a refund for my unused ticket bought through Tripair.com. My ticket number is [redacted][redacted]. I noticed an error in my surname on the booking close to departure time from Taipei to Madrid and asked Turkish Airlines staff to correct it, but they directed me to contact Tripair. Unfortunately, Tripair did not respond to my calls or emails, forcing me to purchase a new ticket for the same date with Turkish Airlines. Despite my efforts to rectify the situation before the flight, my agency labeled it as a no-show, refusing a refund. I am reaching out to Turkish Airlines as a satisfied first-time passenger to resolve this matter. I hope you can assist me in obtaining a refund or suggest alternative solutions. I appreciate your attention to this unexpected issue and await your prompt response. Best regards, Chen-Cheng Chien

Dear Turkish Airlines, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent flight experience with you. On September 28th, I boarded flight TK0773 from KWI to IST, which turned out to be a series of unfortunate events. The flight was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight TK to Duesseldorf. I was then put on TK1527 departing 8 hours later. On the new flight, we discovered our seats were not together. Upon arrival in Duesseldorf, our luggage did not arrive, despite assurances from the ground staff. To add to the ordeal, the car rental company charged us an additional €[redacted] for the late pick-up and had rented out "our" car. The most frustrating part was missing the flight by a mere 3 minutes due to the gate being closed by your ground staff. Istanbul airport was chaotic, with long security lines, and little assistance provided for the transfer. It has been a month, and I have yet to receive any resolution or response from Turkish Airlines regarding my issues. I am requesting a full refund of €[redacted] for clothes purchased due to lost luggage, and €[redacted] for the car rental difference. Please address this matter urgently. You can reach me via email. Sincerely, L.J.

Dear Turkish Airlines, I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent flight experience I had with your airline. The flight I took, TK0773 from KWI to IST on September 28th, turned out to be quite a disaster. The flight was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight TK to Duesseldorf. After a series of unfortunate events, I was put on another flight, TK1527, which departed 8 hours later. Upon boarding, I discovered that our seats were not together, which was quite inconvenient. Upon landing in Duesseldorf, my luggage did not arrive, despite assurances from the ground staff that it would be taken care of. Additionally, the car rental company charged me an additional [redacted]€ because our car was rented out due to our delayed arrival. The most frustrating part was missing the flight due to the gate closing only 3 minutes before we arrived at the Istanbul airport. Despite running through security and pleading with staff, we were unable to board. The overall transfer experience was poorly handled, with a lack of assistance and organization from ground staff. I am requesting a full refund of [redacted]€ for clothes purchased due to the lost luggage, [redacted]€ for the additional car rental charge, and complimentary business class tickets for my family on a future flight. Traveling with two infants for 24 hours and experiencing such mishaps has been incredibly challenging, and I hope for a prompt resolution. Please contact me via email. Sincerely, Ljubica J.

Hello, I recently traveled to Antalya with my son. However, upon arrival, his luggage had a strong unpleasant smell, which airport staff suggested cleaning. After a visit to a dry cleaner, the odor remains. The luggage, a Swiss brand, holds sentimental value to my son, causing distress. We seek assistance from Turkish Airlines to address this matter promptly. Looking for a resolution as our vacation has been impacted. Contact me at [redacted]7 in Istanbul. Thank you, Turkan Compton.

Hello, my name is Shira Averbuch. On November 27th, I was supposed to fly from JFK to Tel Aviv via Istanbul with Turkish Airlines. My booking reference is SUNJLR. The first flight, TK2, was delayed by almost 2 hours, departing at 9pm instead of 7:05pm, causing me to miss my connection in Istanbul. Upon landing at 1pm in Istanbul, I was rebooked on the 8:35pm flight to Israel, resulting in a 7.5-hour delay. I did not receive any meal vouchers or compensation, nor was I granted access to the Turkish Airlines lounge due to a crowded airport. Consequently, I missed the concert in Tel Aviv that evening as I only landed at 9:45pm. I anticipate Turkish Airlines to comply with the EU regulation and provide me with the standard compensation of [redacted] EURO or $[redacted] for the inconvenience caused. As a frequent traveler and musician, I am disheartened by this ordeal. Awaiting your reply and appropriate compensation. Shira

On June 8, [redacted], my family and I were supposed to take a flight to Baku from Jeddah with a transfer in Istanbul on flight TK334 (PNR: RW9L3K). Unfortunately, we encountered several challenges at the airport that caused us to miss our flight. Despite our efforts to reach the gate on time with our young children, we were not allowed to board and were directed to purchase new tickets for the next available flight. The lack of assistance from airport staff and the confusion regarding gate changes and the gate's distance from security were major contributing factors to our missed flight. I am requesting a refund of SAR 4.[redacted] for the new tickets I had to purchase (credit card No. [redacted] XXXX XXXX [redacted]) due to these circumstances. If this matter is not rectified, I may consider sharing my experience publicly.

I recently booked a one-way flight from Budapest to Ulaanbaatar on January 30, [redacted], with reservation number RGI6MN and ticket number [redacted][redacted]. My flight schedule has been changed, landing in Istanbul at 1:20 pm and departing to Buyant Uhaa, Mongolia, at 02:00. The 40-minute transit time is insufficient. Turkish Airlines stated I could receive a [redacted]% refund if I cancel. I wish to cancel due to the tight connection. I've updated my card, and need the refund of [redacted].88 euro on my new card. I was promised an email confirmation, which I haven't received. Contacting Turkish Airlines in Turkey was costly. If necessary, I can provide my new card details.

I am Zindel Pinchas Schliesser, and I had a ticket booked for 1/11-10/11 LIS-TLV-LIS with Turkish Airlines. I usually take connecting flights with them, but this time, I accidentally booked directly on their website. I tried to cancel the booking within an hour and was surprised to find out it was non-refundable. Most agencies, including edreams, offer refunds within 24 hours. Sadly, Turkish Airlines wasn't accommodating. When I tried to change the flight dates, the fees were exorbitant, even double the original cost. In a last attempt, I asked a customer service representative for help, but to no avail. Eventually, I had to cancel the ticket and was only refunded 61 € out of the total amount. It was a disappointing experience, and I believe they could have offered at least a partial refund.

I frequently fly with Turkish Airlines, often on connecting flights. This time, I accidentally booked directly through Turkish Airlines' website. When I realized my mistake, I tried to cancel the booking by contacting customer service. Unfortunately, I was informed that this type of ticket couldn't be cancelled, unlike other agencies like edreams, which offer cancellations and refunds within 24 hours of booking. Even when I tried to reschedule the flight, I was met with high fees, making it more sensible to forfeit the ticket. I asked for assistance from customer service to find a more affordable date to change my ticket, but was unsuccessful. Ultimately, I had to cancel the ticket and only received a refund of €61, mainly covering taxes. The lack of flexibility and support from Turkish Airlines left me very disappointed with the service provided.

Hello support team, I'm facing an issue while trying to sign up for a Miles&Smiles account on the Turkish Airlines website. When I attempt to create a password, the website automatically deletes what I input in the field. Even if I type quickly and press enter, it notifies me of repeating numbers which I haven't included. I'm limited to only 5 letters, and anything more gets erased. This problem persists across browsers like Edge, Chrome, and my phone browser. I've tried different approaches, but the password keeps getting deleted as I type. My TK number is [redacted]80. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you and have a pleasant evening. Best regards, Svit

Subject: Baggage Delay and Compensation Request Dear Team, I am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding my recent flight departure from the UK. Upon my arrival on Thursday, 1st November around 7:30 PM, I encountered a significant delay of 90 minutes in receiving my baggage. I promptly reported the issue to the lost and found department, providing the file reference SAWTK48920/01NOV18/1734GMT. Despite being informed that my bag had been located on Friday, it was not delivered until early Sunday morning, causing substantial inconvenience throughout my stay at the Meridien in the Etiler area. The lack of communication regarding the status of my baggage and its delayed arrival had a severe impact on my 4-day trip, as I was left with only travel clothes. As a resolution, I kindly request 2 Business Class Return Tickets valid for one year, along with a gesture of goodwill for the disrupted experience. I appreciate your timely attention to this matter. To maintain a comprehensive record of our correspondence, I kindly request all responses to be directed to this email address. Thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, Richard N. Baxter M.P.C.G.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am Farzad Jalali, a medical doctor from Mashhad, Iran. I had booked a return flight from Mashhad to Amsterdam, scheduled for November 30th to December 5th. Unfortunately, the airline notified me that the outbound flight on November 30th was canceled, prompting me to reschedule my departure to November 29th. Similarly, I needed to adjust my return flight to December 4th. The travel agency successfully made these changes, providing me with a new ticket number: ETKT [redacted][redacted]. I inquired about a hotel voucher for my layover in Istanbul exceeding 21 hours on December 4th to 5th. Although I expected Turkish Airlines to provide accommodation based on regulations, the travel agency informed me otherwise. I kindly request your assistance in reviewing this issue and providing a resolution. Thank you.

I had a troubling experience at Antalya Airport with Turkish Airlines. After a long wait at the check-in desk, I was rushed through to the gate. A staff member took my cabin case to put it in the hold, but it did not appear upon arrival. Despite my efforts at Istanbul Airport and completing a baggage report, the airline provided little help. The reference numbers I received are as follows: Turkish Airlines: [redacted] Antalya Airport Lost and Found: Protocol number C864

I am reaching out on behalf of Michael Hills, who urgently needs medical treatment in Toronto, Canada. He had a booking with Medflight, a part of Turkish Airlines, but couldn't make the flight. He is now being asked to pay $75,[redacted] USD for a new ticket, which is beyond his means. Tragically, Michael's child has passed away, requiring his presence in Toronto for the funeral arrangements. Despite having paid for the original ticket in full, Medflight is offering only a 15% discount on a new flight, which is unacceptable given the circumstances. I implore you to consider allowing him to use the original ticket to return home. It appears that Hizmetler Hospital in Cyprus is somehow involved with Medflight. Your prompt assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Catherine M. Hewitt 96 Pleasant Ave, Dundas, ON, Canada

Regarding Ticket[redacted][redacted] concerning Andrew Dudley Grant, I want to inform you that my departure from Doha, Qatar on November 17, [redacted] was delayed by 3 hours due to Turkish Airlines spending time searching the aircraft for a missing cell phone. This delay caused me to miss my Austrian Airlines flight in Hamburg, resulting in me having to purchase a new air ticket to Vienna for $[redacted]. Since I was not at fault for missing my original Austrian Airlines flight, I am seeking full reimbursement from Turkish Airlines for this additional expense incurred due to the delay of Turkish Airlines flight TK781. I have all the necessary receipts for this claim, and I am submitting it two days before the first anniversary of the flight issue. Please provide a fax number where I can send the claim documents along with a Turkish Airlines Claim Number. Please acknowledge receipt of this claim via email. I fly frequently to Europe, so I hope we can swiftly and amicably resolve this matter. Thank you.Andrew D. Grant

Hello, I am a resident of Albania interested in joining Turkish Airlines as a call agent. I hope this message reaches the appropriate department for consideration. The recruitment team in our local office appears to have some issues. They have been unprofessional and disrespectful towards job applicants. Despite undergoing three interviews over two months in both English and French, they have not provided any clear information regarding the job start date. I urge you to investigate the third-party company handling recruitment in Tirana as good linguists can greatly enhance customer satisfaction. I hope to receive a response soon. Thank you.

Hello, I booked a round trip from Sofia to Phuket via Istanbul two months ago and recently received a notification that the return flight from Istanbul to Sofia (TK1029) on December 11th has been rescheduled to depart 7 hours later. I confirmed the change on the Turkish Airlines website but did not receive an email confirmation despite being informed it was sent. Now I can't access my electronic ticket. I need to know if confirming it online is sufficient or if there are additional steps required. Will my rescheduled flight and tickets be okay? Thank you for your assistance. Best, Aleksandra
