Hello, Our joint taxes were filed by my husband on TurboTax, but there seems to be a discrepancy as the IRS claims they have not received them. Despite my husband's efforts in contacting both the IRS and TurboTax, we have not been able to resolve the issue. I am unable to speak to a representative as the taxes were filed through his profile. We are looking for guidance on how to resubmit our taxes without incurring additional fees. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I was charged $[redacted] three times unexpectedly when I only expected to be charged once. Two tax returns for [redacted] and [redacted] were sent by mail, and the [redacted] return was e-filed using TurboTax. TurboTax confirmed completion of all necessary forms; however, I have now received a letter requesting forms [redacted] and [redacted]-A, despite not amending my taxes or being subject to the health program. This issue is also impacting my stimulus payment. I am seeking a call from a supervisor as previous interactions with representatives led to misinformation and multiple rejections of my tax return before I resolved the issue independently.

Hello, I spoke with your representative Mike last week on August 31st regarding removing the 2-step verification from my account, [redacted] Despite submitting my photo ID passport as requested, I am still encountering the same issue when trying to log in. Currently, I can only receive emails as my phone number is no longer valid due to living overseas. Can you please assist in removing the 2-step verification and enable access through email only after entering the password? I recently received an email with the headline "TurboTax Case #[redacted]51 has been Resolved," but no resolution has been provided as I have not received any email allowing me to disable the 2-step verification. I need access to my previous returns to file this year's return promptly. Please provide guidance on who to contact and the necessary steps to resolve this issue efficiently. Thank you.

We submitted our [redacted] taxes on April 20, [redacted], with an amount owed to the IRS. We arranged for the payment to be taken from our checking account. However, our printed copy does not show a box checked, which may have caused an issue. The IRS confirmed receipt of our return and scheduled a withdrawal for May 1, [redacted], but it didn't happen. Our IRS account is disabled due to a prior hacking incident, so we are now required to file using an Identity Protection Pin. Unfortunately, we have been unable to reach the IRS by phone. Any guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

I have been a loyal user of TurboTax for over a decade. During the tax season for [redacted], I encountered an issue after initially entering the required code from the product packaging. Unfortunately, I accidentally discarded the disc and case, leading to difficulty in accessing my tax file later on. This resulted in a delay in filing my taxes and an unexpected late fee of $18.37. I spent more than an hour on the phone with a TurboTax technician to regain access to my tax documents, which I found frustrating and unnecessary. Despite my history with the software, I am disappointed with this experience and do not plan to use TurboTax in the future. It seems unfair to be penalized for a situation that was beyond my control.

I am requesting a refund of $85 for a filing fee paid on 2/25/[redacted]. The TurboTax software did not generate Form [redacted] after entering my [redacted]-A, causing me significant issues with the IRS. Despite sending the required information multiple times and contacting the IRS, the problem persists due to TurboTax's error. I would like a refund of $85 for the dissatisfaction and stress caused by this issue. Refund details: Name: Jennifer Jennings Address: 24 Rock St, Avon, MA [redacted] Phone: [redacted] Thank you

I recently purchased TurboTax Deluxe online for the [redacted] tax year, like I do every year. However, I am extremely disappointed with the customer service experience this time. I have been trying since yesterday to resolve an issue. Whenever I try to transmit my return, a message about an update for the version I have appears. Following the instructions, I checked for updates and installed them. Despite successfully installing all updates, the same message keeps appearing whenever I attempt to transmit my return. Each time I called for help, providing my email, the system couldn't find my account. This frustrating loop might make this my last purchase with TurboTax.

I am attempting to update my credit card details but am unsure of my user ID or password. After struggling with the automated menu system for over 20 minutes, I unexpectedly connected with one of your representatives who tried to assist me. Unfortunately, all they could do was direct me to your account recovery site. Yet, this site also requires information I am unable to obtain. I requested the representative file a complaint about the menu system, but they had no means to do so. As a long-time TurboTax user, I have concerns regarding this experience and the lack of customer support. I value security measures; however, after verifying my identity (which I did), I believe I should be able to receive necessary assistance from a live person over the phone.

I e-filed my [redacted] Federal Return using TurboTax in April [redacted]. I successfully received my IRS refund. However, I requested an extension for my PA Income tax to make adjustments. Unfortunately, my hard drive crashed, resulting in the loss of all stored data. Now, I need to recreate my PA return using the information from my e-filed Federal Return. When trying to access the Federal Return through TurboTax, the auto assistant states there is no return on file. I suspect there might be multiple accounts associated with my name causing this issue. I am eager to speak with tech support to gain access to the correct account containing my [redacted] Federal Return. This will help me re-create my PA state return before the October 15 deadline. Get Human has sent me two different four-digit codes via text message to my cell phone, but none have worked.

I submitted my taxes through TurboTax in early March [redacted]. I received my State Return in April [redacted] and also got the Stimulus check, but I'm still waiting for my Federal Return of $[redacted]! Despite checking the IRS refund status website regularly, it keeps saying "STILL PROCESSING." I attempted to contact my local IRS office in Peoria, IL, but it's closed due to COVID. I also called the National IRS number, but it only handles business issues and doesn't let me speak to a live person! I'm at a loss for what to do next. I urgently need that money as I have been out of work for months due to COVID. Additionally, I don't have the prepaid card where my return was supposed to be loaded. How can I switch it to direct deposit into my checking account? I appreciate any assistance.

Unfortunately, your transmission was unsuccessful. We were unable to e-file your return due to a Duplicate Social Security Number error. This means that a tax return with the same Social Security number has already been submitted, indicating an attempt to file the same return twice. If changes are needed, please file an amended return by mail. For e-filing your state return with TurboTax, it should be done alongside your federal return. If you prefer, you can e-file your federal return first and send in your state return separately using TurboTax, mail, or your state's tax website for alternative e-filing options.

I had a frustrating experience with Turbo Tax for the [redacted] tax year. Initially, I expected the fees to be deducted from my refund, which was over $1,[redacted], but they did not do so. This left me unable to pay the $[redacted] fee upfront as I had anticipated it would come out of my return. Consequently, my filing was delayed past the e-file deadline, requiring me to mail it instead. I am unsure when the IRS received the submission and I am disappointed that Turbo Tax did not deduct their fees from my refund as promised. Furthermore, their customer service handling was subpar - I missed a scheduled call from a tax professional, was given inaccurate wait times, and the service did not meet my expectations. Overall, my experience with Turbo Tax was frustrating and I am seeking clarification and resolution.

I am having trouble accessing my account. I have attempted the account recovery process, but I keep receiving a message saying that my request has been declined because my information doesn't match. Despite providing my license, you claim that you cannot find me in your system. However, you continue to charge my credit card for automatic renewals, even though I do not exist according to your records. I have followed all your instructions, spoken with a representative, and even provided a case number. The phone number linked to my account is no longer in service, adding to the difficulties. Please cease charging my credit card or reset my account. I have faced numerous issues with your auto-renewal system and resorted to purchasing software in a retail store for my taxes. I can be contacted at a different number to resolve this issue. Your prompt assistance in rectifying this situation is greatly appreciated. Best regards, Curtis B.

I am having difficulty accessing my [redacted] tax returns for both myself and my husband. Despite trying for two days, the page keeps directing me to file a new [redacted] return instead of retrieving the saved ones. I have unintentionally created a new account with a frequently changing password every time I try to log in. Now I have two accounts - one for the unnecessary new [redacted] return and another associated with my email address. Turbo Tax confirms they can see the latter, but I am unable to access it using any of the three passwords I have used due to the constant password changes. It is incredibly frustrating, especially since I suspect my new computer did not save copies of our original [redacted] tax returns, and I am unable to locate them.

I am experiencing difficulty resetting my account. Customer service employees claim I am not in their system, except for the initial agent who found my account but could not resolve the issue and requested me to reset my account. Upon attempting to reset, employees mentioned they could not locate me in the system. However, I am being charged for online access and support despite not being able to use these services for the past two years. I have resorted to purchasing a copy from a local vendor to file my taxes successfully. Please rectify this situation or cease billing my credit card as I can buy the program locally instead of through your flawed autorenewal process. In addition, a separate concern arose when I provided an official ID, my NY State Driver's License, only to be told a clearer picture is required. I explained that NY State licenses may have photo scanning issues. Furthermore, I questioned the necessity of my photograph for Intuit, as there is no personal recognition involved. Should I arrange a meeting for someone to verify my identity based on the photo?

I have an annual subscription with TurboTax Advantage. Last year, I couldn't use it due to my outdated computer. This year, I tried to cancel the order when they mentioned sending the program soon because my computer can't run TurboTax. They sent the program despite my request to cancel, and now I want a refund. Unfortunately, I can't update my phone number with them to verify my identity. Please assist me in getting my refund. My order number is TAR20A[redacted]04 and it was sent to Marica W. at PO Box 79, Keenesburg, CO 80[redacted]. My email is [redacted], and my current phone number is [redacted].

I have requested my 2[redacted] returns multiple times but have been unsuccessful in downloading the files provided by your organization through TurboTax. I require these documents for approval with my medical plan assistance program. I have been advised by various sources familiar with TurboTax that copies of my returns are kept by your service. I am a loyal customer who files taxes through TurboTax and is willing to pay a fee for obtaining my [redacted] return's first and second pages. Kindly contact me at [redacted] to provide an update. Thank you, Gary.

I attempted to retrieve my [redacted] tax return to assist in estimating my [redacted] return. When I tried to access it, I was prompted to provide a 14-digit number, which I have never been asked for in my over 20 years of using TurboTax, aside from when I initially installed the software. I am concerned whether I will need this for all my previous files. As the sole owner of these old files on my computer, I rely on them for my records, but this new requirement is restricting my access to my own data and calculations. I am eager for your response.

I have been using TurboTax, Mint, and Intuit for a long time. Unfortunately, my computer crashed and I lost everything. I was able to download the [redacted] federal program onto my new computer, but I'm having trouble redownloading the [redacted] Minnesota state program. My order number for the download is TTDCDLA[redacted]11. I am unsure about my user names and passwords. Thank you, Richard J Moen at [redacted] Willoughby Way East, Minnetonka, MN [redacted].

I am having trouble opening my downloaded TurboTax [redacted] file on my PC. Despite trying to open it both normally and as an administrator, the program loads momentarily with the hourglass icon and then disappears. I initially reported this issue to Intuit tech support in mid-November, and after updating as advised, the problem persists. Today, I repeated the download and attempted to open it again. I came across a suggestion online to try "selective startup," which I tried, but the software continues to behave the same way. I would appreciate prompt assistance on how to resolve this issue.
