I need to either confirm the status of my stimulus payment or determine if I need to resolve an identity theft attempt or establish whether I am not eligible. I don't have any issues that would suggest that is the case. I have not owed any child support since [redacted]. I initially filed in March with TurboTax, but in April I realized I filed incorrectly since I had no income to report from [redacted] to [redacted]. By the end of April, I filed correctly through the IRS site, where I changed my address and added bank account information. I am wondering if the different information provided could have flagged fraud, especially because I used my boyfriend's bank account initially due to not having one at the time. I have my own account now, but it was too late to revise it for the stimulus check deposit. I have tried calling the IRS, sat on hold for an hour, only to be suddenly disconnected. I have exhausted all attempts on the internet. I just need some answers and since I originally applied through TurboTax, I am reaching out for assistance. Thank you, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Hello, I am having issues completing my tax return with TurboTax. I had been using a different email account until June 15th and now I am unable to access the information I need from my Hotmail account as Microsoft has transitioned to Outlook. Despite logging in with my new Outlook email, I am being told that I cannot retrieve important details like my Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) from my Hotmail account to finish my tax return for this year. I've been a TurboTax user for over five years and believe it should be possible for them to access information from both Hotmail and Outlook accounts given that the submitted information remains the same, including my SSN, banking details, and address. Despite trying TurboTax Recovery Account, I have not received verification on my international mobile number. I urgently need help with this issue since I am already past the tax deadline. Please note that emails sent to my Hotmail will not show up in my Outlook account. Thank you for your assistance. Curtiss H. Cunningham Jr. Email: [redacted] / [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern at Turbo Tax, I have an urgent need to acquire official IRS tax transcripts from [redacted] and [redacted] for the purchase of a house with a scheduled closing this Friday, 7/10/[redacted]. The IRS is experiencing delays and I am unable to access the online portal because it requires a specific type of cell phone for verification, which I do not possess. Can Turbo Tax assist me in obtaining these transcripts beyond what is available in my account? We have been loyal customers for over 5 years, so I believe the necessary information should be accessible through Turbo Tax. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide given the time-sensitive nature of this request. Thank you for your help! Best, L. B.

I am having trouble accessing my TurboTax account because I forgot my password and can't receive a text on my new phone number. I also can't access the email associated with my account. Despite trying various methods to prove my identity, including filling out the online account recovery form, I'm unable to upload a picture of my ID as the link doesn't work. The form keeps prompting me to upload my ID, but I can't do so. Can someone from TurboTax please contact me at [redacted]? My account is under [redacted] Thank you.

TurboTax suggested that I file a DC tax return along with my CA return, which I had never done before. I decided to follow the advice and bought the DC tax software. However, after completing the DC return, I found out that I do not owe or get a refund in DC. Therefore, I do not need to file the extra return as I initially thought. I purchased the DC software based on TurboTax's guidance, but it turned out to be unnecessary. I am requesting a refund for the DC tax software.

I lost my passwords when I switched to a new computer. The account recovery process requires a US address, but I haven't lived in the US for the past two years, so the address on file with TurboTax is not current. I already submitted a request to recover the account but I'm concerned it might not work due to the mismatched information. I currently live in China, so calling for assistance is not convenient for me. I'm hoping to find a solution to regain access to my account so I can file my taxes on schedule.

TurboTax suggested that I file a DC return along with my CA return, despite me never having done so before. I bought the DC return software based on this suggestion, only to realize that I do not actually owe or will receive a refund with DC. I do not need to file this return as initially thought. I feel misled as I made the purchase solely based on TurboTax's recommendation, which turned out to be incorrect. I would like to request a refund for the DC return software I purchased unnecessarily.

Today, I received an email from TurboTax offering free federal and state tax filing, which I found misleading. Despite being a loyal customer for the past two years and usually paying less than $20 for state filing, this year I was forced into the Deluxe Plan costing $[redacted] due to my retired status and $23,[redacted] annual pension. The website did not allow me to revert to the standard plan as initially suggested, and after entering all my information, I was only presented with the Deluxe Plan option on the review page without any "continue" button. Feeling frustrated, I tried to resolve this for over three hours and requested a call back which never came. I am seeking help to contact TurboTax customer service to address this issue and file a complaint regarding what seems like deceptive advertising practices. Thank you for any guidance provided.

I need help entering my [redacted]-R for [redacted], but it keeps asking for the previous year's information. Whenever I enter [redacted] data, my tax owed increases. I need to remove a duplicate [redacted]-R. The system is questioning if my Pension Plan is "Qualified" and if I took the required RMD. I receive a monthly pension check and don't think RMD applies. I can't proceed until this [redacted]-R and RMD issue is fixed to avoid incorrect tax owing. Quick assistance from TurboTax would improve the tax filing experience. Thank you for addressing this. - I. L. Patterson

I encountered an issue with the TurboTax software regarding "overriding" figures without being informed it would prevent e-filing until a $24.99 fee was paid. When attempting to e-file, I was prompted to remove the overrides, which would impact the accuracy of my tax return. As a result, I had to print and mail the returns. Now, I am seeking a refund of the $24.99 fee. Additionally, I am unable to sign in due to a lost password, and the website only provides assistance through a phone number I no longer have access to. Changing the phone number requires signing in, creating a frustrating situation.

I purchased TurboTax LIVE for an extra $80 on top of my premier package just to get one question answered. Initially, I reached out for help via live chat, and they suggested a call from a tax specialist. Despite the busy tax season, I waited for a call after hours. The representative took my details and promised to transfer me to someone who could help, but I was left on hold for over an hour and got disconnected at 11:30 pm. No one called me back. I had to go to an accountant and pay for the answer due to TurboTax's service. I feel they misrepresented LIVE help, charging $[redacted] for assistance that's only available after July 15th. If their accountants can't handle tax queries, that's a problem. I request to switch back to the Premier package only. Disappointed that TurboTax, a service I've used for years, let me down in this way.

Hello, I recently filed my Michigan state tax but it got rejected due to also filing federal tax, which I already did in March using 1040now. I'm unsure how to proceed. I attempted to update my email following the instructions provided, but I kept receiving an "invalid credentials" message. I no longer wish to use my previous email, [redacted], as it belongs to my oldest daughter who resides in a different state. I prefer to use [redacted], my youngest daughter's email, as she lives with me and helps care for me. I found it challenging to file my state tax with 1040Now. Could you please advise on the next steps? Should I call for assistance? Thank you, Dolores Danzey

I created a TurboTax account for this tax season and encountered an issue when trying to e-file my federal return. I repeatedly received an error message stating that the EIN numbers on all my [redacted]-R forms were incorrect. Despite double-checking the numbers on the forms and verifying them on the companies' websites and IRS site, the problem persisted. I have a total of 7 different [redacted] forms, and it seems perplexing that all 7 numbers could be incorrect, especially when I have successfully e-filed with no issues in the past using a different preparer. The EIN numbers for my forms have remained consistent for the past 7 years since I retired. Due to this problem, I have resorted to mailing my federal and state returns along with the necessary payments. Kindly refrain from sending further reminders to e-file. Thank you, John.

I received a notification from Google stating that my [redacted] taxes were rejected due to an incorrect EIN. When I clicked the link provided to fix the issue, it directed me to log in, but I couldn't find any information about my rejected taxes. Surprisingly, my [redacted] taxes are not even in the system. Despite not receiving an email from Intiut, I confirmed that the EIN on my computer's copy is accurate and my state tax was accepted. I've been attempting to contact someone over the phone since noon. However, I have been repeatedly told they will call me back without any follow through, or I have been disconnected after long waits on hold, exceeding an hour and a half. The experience has caused me to develop a migraine due to the frustrating hold music and ineffective automated system. I urgently need to speak with a real person to address this troubling issue with my taxes.

I am encountering an error message while attempting to e-file my taxes. I am concerned as the deadline is today, and I reside in the Netherlands, making mailing not feasible. I attempted changing my address and phone number to a US one in place of my Dutch details, but this did not resolve the issue. Can someone provide guidance on what steps to take next? Thank you, K. I filed both my Federal and IL state taxes using TurboTax on 7/14/20, but received a rejection email with code FW2-[redacted]-01 related to Form W-2, Line B Employer EIN. I have five W-2 forms for my Substitute Teaching jobs and checked all EIN numbers for accuracy. After verifying with a friend who also teaches in the same districts, we confirmed all EINs matched. However, there's one W-2 from my former employer that is causing the issue. The EIN number provided (84-[redacted]) was obtained by the employer in early January [redacted] and he cannot generate a new one. I am unsure how to proceed to resolve this and receive my tax refund. Additionally, I attempted to file an extension using Form [redacted] online but encountered difficulties due to not being able to access the necessary information in my TurboTax account after the rejection. This situation has caused significant distress as I thought the process would be straightforward. I seek assistance in resolving the EIN issue with the IRS and obtaining an extension if needed. Thank you for your support. Sincerely, Josetta B.

I recently received my tax return from the IRS, which was mailed in early March. I filed as a senior citizen, but the IRS is requesting form [redacted]/A/EZ/SR. I only have two [redacted] statements to report. Unfortunately, the second page of my [redacted] was not included in the return, so my original signature is missing. Also, my SS [redacted] was not returned with the documents. I plan to send a copy of the top part of my information from the IRS to rectify this. I hope sending the missing second page will resolve the issue. Thank you for any assistance. Dorothy L Poteet

(1) I received an Assessment for my [redacted] Return from the CRA which I disagree with. The issue stems from Line [redacted] showing a "Taxable amount of dividends from taxable Canadian Corporations" of $1,[redacted],[redacted].58. I am unsure where Turbo Tax obtained this figure, possibly from CRA records of T3 or T5s provided by Canadian Financial Institutions. Could I please receive a detailed breakdown of these dividends? (2) Additionally, I would like a breakdown of the Interest & Other Investment Income of $[redacted],[redacted].87 on Line [redacted] for [redacted], specifying the Payor of this income. (3) Concerning Line [redacted] Limited Partnership Losses from previous years, I hastily estimated $5,[redacted] on my [redacted] return to meet the deadline. Given my Tax Shelter Investments over the past decade, I have queries about the maximum claim for [redacted], carrying forward unused Shelters as non-capital losses, impact on AMT computation, utilizing Ltd Partnership Losses in years without Tax Shelter investments, expiration of unused losses after 7 years, amending past Tax Returns for Tax Shelter Losses, and adjusting claims across different taxation years. (4) If I discover errors in my past Tax returns, how many years back can I request adjustments from the CRA? (5) Regarding the 90-day deadline to Appeal a CRA Assessment, can taxpayers request an extension for filing an Objection/Appeal? If so, what are valid grounds for an extension request? Thank you.

Order # EFECB[redacted]53 I have spoken to 2 customer service reps at your company and have had discussions with both of them using "Smartlook." Based on a review of my account, they both confirmed that I should not have been charged as I did not utilize any Deluxe features. They advised me to pay the unjust charge and seek a refund. However, I am currently on reduced pay and have yet to receive any stimulus funds. I do not have $[redacted] to cover a payment for something I do not owe. Given the reduction in my work hours due to COVID, I am already struggling to pay my rent. With the hold on my account causing a deficit of $[redacted] and an additional $35 for the bounced charge, along with late fees for my rent, I find myself financially strained. I fail to comprehend why such a large company as yours cannot acknowledge that I am not in debt to you and cease demanding money for an unjust claim. Regards, L. W. Anderson

Hello, I need help with receiving my stimulus check on a Green Dot card. I don't have the card with me, so I contacted to have it canceled and a new one sent to me. During the automated process, I verified my social security number and provided my address and zip code, although I've never received a card before. How can they ensure the new card is sent to the correct address since I have moved in the past decade? The IRS claims they sent it to the card on file from [redacted]. I requested an expedited card with a $15 processing fee. The security alert is now active on the card after I called to clarify the address. I would appreciate any advice on how to proceed. Thank you. -David H. Email: [redacted] Phone: [redacted]
