I have already filed my taxes using a different service. I am requesting a refund for the TurboTax online program. Despite being charged on my credit card, I did not use TurboTax to file my taxes nor do I intend to do so. My interaction with TurboTax has been extremely disappointing. As a first-time user, I am adamant about not using this program in the future. How can I go about getting a refund? When attempting to contact customer service, the automated system seems designed to avoid addressing concerns or connecting me with a representative.

My spouse works for a hospital network in Arizona but has always resided in Colorado. She received corrected W-2 forms for [redacted] and [redacted], showing taxes paid to both states in [redacted] and split between the two states in [redacted]. Using Turbo Tax Deluxe, I amended our [redacted] taxes by selecting "Change of Residency" and adjusting the tax information. For [redacted] taxes, I plan to use the corrected W-2 forms on the [redacted] and state form. Can I still e-file for federal taxes to get a refund or should I send the W-2c with the printed taxes?

I am having trouble tracking our federal US tax refund. Can you please assist in locating it? The last four digits of my Social Security number are [redacted], and we filed from Oregon. Our Oregon refund was processed promptly within five days. The IRS refund amount is $[redacted].00. I filed jointly with my husband, Marinus E. Wolf, whose last four SSN digits are [redacted]. The process seems complex, and I might be missing a step. We are eager to know the current status of our refund and the estimated arrival time.

I recently reached out with some concerns while using TurboTax to file my taxes via their question forum. The responses were informative, and I offered additional details by commenting back. However, after my fourth comment, a message appeared, stating my account was under review for potentially violating the terms and conditions. I am unsure why my account is being reviewed as I believe I have followed all the guidelines. I am seeking assistance to address these issues and continue responding to the helpful answers I have received.

I was charged for filing my return though it was supposed to be free. After contacting customer service, they agreed to refund me $79.98. I was informed that the check would arrive within 2 weeks but after three weeks, I followed up and was told it might take up to six weeks. It's now nearly 3 months, and I am still awaiting my refund. When can I expect to receive my check?

I recently filed my taxes with TurboTax and was supposed to receive my tax refund on their prepaid card. While waiting for the card, I unexpectedly had to move and didn't receive the card in the mail. I have created an online account and can see that my tax refund has arrived, but I can't access it without activating the card. This means I can't unlock my account to move the funds elsewhere. I have another Green Dot card and I'm wondering if someone could help me transfer my funds to it. I urgently need access to my funds and don't have time to wait for a new card to be sent. Please get back to me quickly to let me know if we can resolve this promptly. Thank you.

I encountered several issues with my tax return on TurboTax. Initially, I mistakenly entered my [redacted] AGI in the [redacted] section causing the IRS to reject my return. Upon correction, I realized my spouse's name was replaced with another person's name on the final page and my spouse's name was deleted entirely from the tax copy. Despite my efforts to rectify these errors, TurboTax has locked me out of accessing my rejected return, making it impossible to correct the mistakes made. The customer service representative I spoke to was unable to assist as well due to technical difficulties, and subsequent attempts to seek help led me to a dead-end fix-it page. Given the time-sensitive nature of this issue, I urgently request a call back from TurboTax at 4 PM tonight to address these crucial errors. My help desk reference number is [redacted].

I recently updated my Mac to Sierra 10.12 in order to use Turbotax. While I was able to get the program open after encountering errors during a [redacted].5 MB update, I ran into more issues today. Despite seeing my saved files in "Documents," I am unable to open Turbotax. Following support advice, I removed and reinstalled the program, but the same problem persists with the update stopping midway with an error. I am feeling rushed as I cannot access my work and have already spent hours on this. Apple suggested it's a Turbotax issue. I would appreciate help resolving this matter promptly.

I utilized TurboTax for my [redacted] taxes and repeated the process for my [redacted] taxes, importing the information from the previous year. However, upon submission, I found that my [redacted] return was rejected due to a discrepancy in the Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) from [redacted]. Upon investigation, it appears that the IRS has no record of my [redacted] taxes being filed. To resolve this issue, I adjusted my [redacted] AGI to $0, and the return was accepted. It seems I owed taxes for [redacted], paid the state via credit card with a fee through TurboTax, but oddly was not charged by the federal branch on my credit card. I did not receive any notifications that my [redacted] return was rejected, despite having documentation showing payment and filing through TurboTax. I am puzzled as to why my [redacted] federal taxes were never filed.

Subject: Issue with TurboTax Purchase I used TurboTax Software to file my [redacted] tax return, opting for the free federal and $24.99 state filing. However, when I checked the filing costs online, my credit card was charged before I could review the charges. I only intended to see the cost to file my state taxes, but was suddenly prompted for payment, leading to an unintended purchase. I've contacted Discover Card to halt the payment, but they suggested I contact you first. Here are the details of the purchase: Order number: TTWC[redacted]2 Order date: April 11, [redacted] Charges: - TURBOTAX ONLINE DELUXE TAX YEAR [redacted] PREP: $59.99 - TURBOTAX ONLINE STATE NJ TAX YEAR [redacted] PREP: $44.99 Subtotal: $[redacted].98 Sales Tax: $3.97 Total: $[redacted].95 I seek a full refund of $[redacted].95. I have emails showing my free federal filing had been submitted half an hour before I received the purchase confirmation, which seems confusing. How is it possible for a return to be submitted twice? I appreciate your prompt refund to my Discover Card. Thank you, C.M.

I did not want to include previous mortgage refinances in my return. Due to my disability and pain, I couldn't access the old mortgage information from the past 27 years, which wouldn't impact my current taxes since I only need the standard deduction this year under the new tax law. I tried to e-file, but it prompted me to enter mortgage info again. When I attempted to print and mail my return, I couldn't find the option. After much frustration, I paid $19.99 for Plus hoping it would allow me to print my return, but unfortunately, it didn't. If I can't print to mail, I kindly request a refund of the $19.99. I don't need the deductions page; I just want to print and mail my return if e-filing isn't an option. This Turbo Tax experience has been disappointing for me, as a first-time user, and I may have to seek other options if this issue isn't resolved.

I have several questions on various topics as a self-employed individual that I would like to address. Below are the areas I have identified in my software: 1) Percentage of income from home office use 2) Fair market value of my lease 3) Qualified business income 4) Carryover of home office deduction 5) Repeated expense questions in different sections of the software - input in both places? 6) Income from foreign sources 7) Difficulty locating where to enter my business laptop usage 8) Car registration fees (relevant to my lease?) 9) Rent paid for my home office I am familiar with this software and believe most of these queries can be quickly resolved, but I seek assistance from a tax professional to ensure proper placement of these details.

Last year I used TurboTax to file my federal and New Mexico state personal income taxes. My confirmation number was TTWQP1CZ[redacted]3, and I paid $63.06 for the service on April 9, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I did not receive my refund, and I suspect my taxes were not properly filed. This has caused me concern. This year, I tried to use TurboTax again for free, but both my state and federal returns were rejected. After verifying last year's ([redacted]) adjusted gross income (AGI), the IRS stated it was incorrect. I am currently waiting to see if the re-submission will be successful. I feel there might be a connection between the IRS not receiving my return last year and my current e-filing challenges. I am eager to receive my refund from last year. Thank you for any assistance you can provide. Carol Z. Beal

Hi, I need to download my [redacted] return to amend it and resubmit. I paid $19.99 for the plus upgrade (confirmation TTWC[redacted]1) using my [redacted] email but realized I actually filed using my school email [redacted] I upgraded this account too for $19.99 (confirmation TTWC[redacted]4). I'm requesting a refund for the first $19.99 payment (confirmation TTWC[redacted]1) as the tax file was blank. I've already filed my [redacted] taxes with a professional and only need the software to get my previous years' returns. Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you post tax season. - S. Koch

I am helping my girlfriend with her tax forms. She was covered by Medicare for January, February, and March of [redacted], and switched to Obamacare for the rest of the year. We received a [redacted]-B for Medicare and a [redacted]-A for Obamacare. I am using TurboTax to file our taxes, but I am having trouble with the [redacted]-A. The document has zeros for the first three months, and TurboTax is not accepting it when I try to import it. This is the final step, and I am feeling frustrated that I cannot submit the [redacted]-A form because of the zeros in the months of January, February, and March. Any guidance would be appreciated.

We recently completed e-filing, but are unsure where to find the [redacted] forms for printing. It's essential to confirm that they were indeed included in the e-filing. Apr 16: We are frustrated by the lack of help received from customer support regarding our inquiry about printing the [redacted] forms through Turbo Tax. We expect clear instructions on how to locate and print these forms for our records. It is important that Turbo Tax provides step-by-step guidance on navigating menus and links to access and print the necessary [redacted] forms.

The IRS sent me a letter requesting Form [redacted] and a copy of Form [redacted]-A. I've contacted healthcare, but it will take 7 days for the form to arrive. I have the necessary details from when I amended my taxes on TurboTax; however, I'm concerned about filing the amendment after the deadline due to the form's delayed arrival. My original tax return was accepted before I received the letter. Any insights on potential penalties for the delayed submission? Apologies for the lengthy explanation. TLDR: IRS needs [redacted]-A, I already filed with TurboTax. Worried about late submission due to form delay.

I enrolled in an installment plan to pay $[redacted] now and $[redacted] monthly through TurboTax. During the process, there was a form indicating the total amount and the monthly $[redacted] payment due on the 28th. Subsequently, I was prompted to provide my routing number and bank account details for eDebit, but it didn't specify if the $[redacted] and the $[redacted] installment would both be processed. The final step instructed me to print forms to send to the IRS. I am unsure whether I still need to mail a payment given that I arranged the eDebit installment plan. I want to avoid being charged the $[redacted] twice as the instructions were not clear. Could you please clarify if the eDebit setup is for the immediate $[redacted] payment or for the monthly installments? I am uncertain about the timing of the $[redacted] deduction since the final step involved printing and sending forms to the IRS.

I opted for the free version to file my taxes with Turbotax. To my surprise, I was charged $[redacted] before proceeding with filing, and there was no alternative to continue. I'm disappointed that I couldn't change or cancel this charge. I attempted to cancel but the "File" webpage wouldn't load. It turns out I owe only $44 in federal fees, essentially nothing. Despite being an independent contractor with numerous expenses and deductions, I'm shocked to find out that I owe money instead of a refund. It feels like a massive scam. I haven't filed yet, and any additional expenses I tried to include did not affect the money I should get back. Even though I expected a significant federal refund, it seems I'll only get $[redacted] in state returns. I believe I deserve a full refund, the promised [redacted]% free filing, and the correct amount I should be refunded next year.

I used Turbotax self-employed last year and I assumed it would continue this year, but I am not certain if it did. How can I confirm this? There is a message above "vehicle" saying NEEDS REVIEW, despite me reviewing it multiple times and clicking DONE. Additionally, when I attempted to proceed to "communications," it prompts me to be in the self-employed version, but I am unable to locate the "review" or "edit" options, only START. If I am not in the self-employed section already, how can I transfer everything without starting over?
