I am currently using the [redacted] Deluxe CD version of the product, which has been updated with all available updates. I have encountered an issue with the Schedule E section pertaining to my vacation home rented for [redacted] days along with 3 days of personal use totaling to [redacted] days. The total taxes paid were $6,[redacted]. TurboTax is incorrectly calculating the personal use portion as $4,[redacted] instead of the correct amount of $[redacted]. This miscalculation also extends to my [redacted] tax return, which I just noticed as well. Surprisingly, the [redacted] tax return gets the business personal use calculation right. I am seeking a resolution where the software correctly calculates the personal use for both the [redacted] and [redacted] TurboTax Deluxe versions on Schedule E line 16A, column e. It appears that overwriting column e triggers a correct recalculation based on the input in the personal use column.

As a non-resident alien on an H1B visa, I almost completed my tax filing on TurboTax but realized it was incorrect, marked as "resident." I learned TurboTax partners with Sprintax for my situation and the 1040NR form. I recommend adding a residency question at the start to prevent similar issues as taxes can be confusing, especially for newcomers. I appreciate TurboTax and plan to use it in the future when I become a tax resident. I want to ensure no payment was processed due to the mismatch in services. A suggestion would be to assist Sprintax with their website for a better user experience, considering the partnership. Thank you, Paul Laycock.

I recently installed TurboTax [redacted] Home & Business on my iMac. The installation was successful, and I registered the program. However, I am facing an issue where I am unable to start my current year tax return. When I click on "File" and then "New Return," nothing happens. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program to troubleshoot, but the problem persists.

I was charged $40 for the deluxe tax package even though I didn't end up filing with them this year. I intended to but found their website frustrating and ended up using H&R Block instead. I'm unable to get any response from TurboTax regarding this charge. When I tried their support phone line, I was connected to an unhelpful person who lacked professionalism.

I finished filing my taxes online, selected the product, and proceeded to make a payment to the IRS. Initially, I intended to pay by check but changed my mind. While using Direct Pay, I thought I could opt-out, but the payment went through. Upon returning to TurboTax, I discovered that I have to input my payment details AGAIN to file. Unfortunately, Direct Pay cannot refund my payment as I requested it to be deducted tomorrow, which is less than the required 2-day timeframe. I urgently require assistance!

I have noticed that the Turbo Tax program is incorrectly calculating Federal returns by using the "Adjusted Gross Income" rather than the correct "Taxable Income" information. This mistake is leading to errors in both the tax due and refund amounts. I am requesting an adjustment to ensure the correct calculation is applied. Additionally, I would like my tax return to be amended in order to receive the proper refund amount from the Federal return I submitted on 04/08/[redacted].

I encountered an issue while trying to e-file my tax returns using TurboTax Deluxe download for Windows on 4/8/[redacted] at approximately 3:00 PM EDT. I purchased the state e-file feature for Georgia and was asked to contact Customer Service for a "confirmation code." The initial representative tried to troubleshoot by accessing my computer remotely, but the call disconnected. Upon calling back, I connected with Joanne, who eventually provided me with the necessary confirmation code. Despite successfully submitting my federal and state returns, my credit card was erroneously billed for two extra $24.99 state e-file purchases. I am seeking a refund for these duplicate charges.

I submitted my [redacted] tax return and made a payment of $39.99 using my American Express card. The transaction number is T[redacted]02, and the authorization number is [redacted]. The transaction date was April 8, [redacted]. While completing my return on TurboTax, I started a survey that I found to be too lengthy and did not finish it. After closing the survey, my tax return disappeared, and it was not filed with the CRA. I am unable to locate the return in my account and had to redo it, only to realize that I need to pay again to file. I need assistance to have my original completed return filed without incurring an additional charge.

I have already spoken to a representative regarding the need to verify my identity with the IRS. They informed me that the direct deposit status changed on my TurboTax prepaid Visa two weeks ago. Consequently, I no longer have an address for a check to be sent. I believe TurboTax is at fault for altering my status, causing an additional 7-week delay. Originally, the setup was for the money to come directly to the card. Now, I have to wait longer and visit a residence from which I have been restricted. I am feeling harassed by both TurboTax and the IRS.

I purchased TurboTax Premier in February, which includes one free state tax return. However, when I completed my tax return for both federal and DC state, it shows that I owe money to both. At the end, it is asking me to pay $24.99 for state filing. This is causing a lot of inconvenience for me as I already paid for the state filing. My purchase order number is QSTC[redacted]6. Please help me with this issue. Thank you.

I am facing issues accessing my Turbotax account because I forgot my password. After entering the code sent to me, the system prompts me to input my password, but I cannot remember it. I expected the code to lead me to a password reset page instead. Additionally, using the longer method, I inadvertently accessed my son David's account instead of mine, even though I entered Richard's information. This mix-up could potentially lead to unauthorized access, highlighting a security flaw.

I signed up to receive my refund on a Turbo Debit card. The last email I received from Turbo was on March 9th, indicating that my card would be arriving soon and advising me to register the card. My federal refund was deposited onto this card on March 20th; however, I have yet to receive the card. When reaching out to Green Dot for assistance, they consistently request an account number, which I do not have in full since Turbo only displays 12 digits instead of the full 16. Turbo is now prompting me to upgrade to access the promised debit card. I originally filed on February 7th. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I have been advised to file a fraud complaint with the IRS.

I tried to reset my password by using the forgot password feature and entered the code sent to my email. However, after entering the code to sign in, it accepted it but did not allow me to set a new password. Instead, it redirected me back to the original sign-in page. This process seems to be looping, and I am unable to successfully reset my password. Furthermore, after several attempts, I get locked out. I am perplexed as to why entering the correct code does not prompt me to reset my password as expected.

I recently completed my taxes using the TurboTax app and elected to have my refund deposited into my bank account. However, I was surprised to find out that the hidden fees deducted left me with only $[redacted] out of the $[redacted] I was expecting from both state and federal refunds. I am frustrated by this and feel it is unfair. I wish they were transparent about these fees. I want to address this issue with a representative as soon as possible. It's disappointing to see such high and undisclosed charges, as I would have chosen a different payment method if I had known about them.

I submitted my tax return using TurboTax on 02/01/19 and checked the status with the IRS using "Where's my refund?". It was scheduled to be deposited on 02/27/19. After contacting the IRS and speaking with a representative, I was informed that the refund was sent to the TurboTax account. However, I have not received my refund from TurboTax and am unsure of when I can expect it. I have used TurboTax without problems in the past and would appreciate assistance from a representative or for the refund to be deposited into my bank account.

After installing TurboTax [redacted] Home & Business on my iMac, I encountered issues as my operating system was outdated. I had to update my operating system to MacOS Sierra. Following the update, I was able to open TurboTax but encountered a problem where I could not start a new return. Despite uninstalling and reinstalling the program, I still faced the same issue. I am seeking technical support from TurboTax to assist me in starting a new return as I am unable to do so currently.

This is my first time filing federal taxes, and the software won't allow me to E-file them, so I have to paper file. I'd like to E-file my state taxes separately, but it seems I must do federal and state together. Since I can't E-file them separately, I planned to print out the state tax papers but the instructions say not to mail a paper copy as they already have my electronic return. Can anyone advise on how to proceed with paper filing state taxes when the electronic federal return has been submitted?

I submitted my [redacted] tax refund on January 28, [redacted], choosing the prepaid Turbo card as usual. In the past, everything went smoothly. I expected my refund within 3 weeks, but after 9 weeks, it still hasn't arrived. Although the Turbo card arrived and the app confirmed my filing was successful, both the IRS website and the Turbo hotline couldn't locate my return. I'm puzzled and concerned about the delay.

I bought an Intuit TurboTax Premier [redacted] software from Newegg for $54.99, which was supposed to include State filing. However, during my tax filing process, I'm being prompted to pay an extra $24.99 for State filing. This seems to be a mistake as my purchase should've covered State filing. I've been waiting for a reply for over 6 hours now. How can I proceed with e-filing without having to pay this additional fee when I have already purchased it?

I have a few questions I need help with regarding my tax return: 1. How do I amend last year's return to include a State Income Tax Refund I forgot to report in [redacted]? 2. Can I file a Schedule A for Itemized deductions this year even if they are less than $24,[redacted]? 3. If I can't file a Schedule A, how can I claim property taxes, charitable contributions, etc.? Are these included in the Standard Deduction? 4. We are paying back an over-payment of Unemployment Benefits in Massachusetts. Where should I report this? 5. My husband, a Union Officer, receives payment for missed work attending meetings. Can he still use the Schedule C-EZ? 6. There might be more questions I haven't considered. Thank you for your assistance.
