I am Michael K. I was informed that I would receive reimbursement for services that impacted my tax return negatively. However, despite providing my mailing address, I never received the promised check. The email I received was titled "Investigation #[redacted]" and contained the following message: "Good morning, Mr. K, Thank you for bringing to our attention the issues with the provincial tuition carry forward. Upon reviewing the call you had with the agent in March [redacted], it was evident that there was misinformation regarding the tuition carry forward across provinces. As a result, we will cover the costs of the pro review and your interest charges from [redacted], totaling $[redacted].90. Please provide us with a mailing address so we can send you the reimbursement check." I have been eagerly awaiting the check since April 19, and it is now June 14th.

I recently noticed a charge on my checking account that has now overdrafted. This charge was supposed to be covered by the refund I received for back child support owed to ORS. Initially, I wasn't expecting a refund, but when it arrived, it was applied to my debt before any Turbo Tax charges. It's frustrating that this issue has occurred for the second time, and my confidence in Turbo Tax has waned. Even though it shows as "FIXED," the problem persists and remains unresolved.

I received a letter about my [redacted] STATE tax return saying I need to amend it and owe money. I've never owed before. It seems my [redacted] state tax return was marked as "started" but not finished. I've used TurboTax for 3 years without issues. I believed that both federal and state taxes needed to be filed before being accepted. I used the mobile app to file in [redacted], thought I completed both federal and state, but now it shows my state return as "started" and not accepted. The letter asks for an $[redacted] payment, though I should have received $[redacted] that year. Should I amend it? I don't believe I owe, and it seems like an error because the state return was marked as started.

I urgently require access to my [redacted] Tax Return for college financial aid verification before July. I was unable to access the account I used in [redacted], compelling me to file my [redacted] Return under a new account. Now, I'm struggling to regain entry to my old account by resetting the password. Unfortunately, I can't receive the reset code because I no longer have access to the previous phone number associated with the account. The alternative verification method keeps looping back to requiring the old phone number. Can you please advise if there is another way to reset the password? Time is of the essence due to the approaching college financial aid deadline. I am seeking assistance for the account a.silvis0102. Kindly respond to my email promptly. Thank you for your help.

I need immediate access to my [redacted] Tax Return for college financial aid verification before July. I previously filed my [redacted] Return under a new account due to login issues with my old account. Now, trying to reset the password for my old account to retrieve the [redacted] Return is proving challenging as I no longer have access to the phone number associated with it. The alternative verification options are not working, consistently looping back to phone verification. Urgently seeking an alternative method to reset my password to meet the college financial aid deadline. The account username is a.silvis0102. Prompt email response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently babysat my little cousin and received payment in cash along with a receipt from my aunt. I was unaware that I needed a money order or a type of check stub for documentation. The FTB requested proof of this transaction, including the receipt. When I reached out to them via phone, they mentioned that receipts were acceptable. However, I am unsure about the specific details they are asking for. I also realized that the tax lady may have inputted the wrong amount on the documentation. I am not familiar with which [redacted] forms I need to fill out as they were not initially mentioned. Additionally, I received another letter stating a change was made to my account from $[redacted] to $0. I have a bank account - is there a way to update my direct deposit information for my refund? I am planning to start school soon and will be completing FAFSA. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Alyssa O.

I recently had an issue with my tax refund that required a lengthy call with an IRS representative. They mentioned that TurboTax, the company I used, had recharged me fees for a refund that was on hold and had already been paid. My boyfriend who also used TurboTax was not charged any fees. I was charged $[redacted] for my eligible free taxes and an additional $[redacted]. I didn't require any special forms or extra services. I am requesting a refund of all fees associated with filing my federal and state tax return from TurboTax within 14 to 21 days. You can reach me at PO Box [redacted] Suisun California [redacted] or call me at [redacted]. My name is April C. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

TurboTax made significant errors on our Michigan [redacted] return, leading to an unexpected additional tax bill of $1,[redacted]. A mistake on Schedule 1 incorrectly entered Robert's IRA distribution on the wrong line, and we failed to claim the Michigan Standard Deduction of $40,[redacted] for retirement income. We have submitted an amended MI-1040X to resolve this issue with the state. We have trusted TurboTax since [redacted], but this error has shaken our confidence. We hope this matter is resolved promptly and that it will not happen again. We believe there may be a problem in TurboTax's Michigan preparation program, especially with the unique way Michigan taxes retirement income. If this issue is acknowledged and corrected, we will consider using TurboTax in the future. You can reach us at [redacted]. - Robert R. Lohrman, Maria L. Lohrmann

I submitted my [redacted] tax forms through TurboTax, including the [redacted] and State [redacted]. I accurately input the amount from my [redacted] R on the 1099R worksheet, but the IRS notified me of an error on line 16b of the [redacted], resulting in a fine of $1,[redacted] in tax and interest. After paying the fee, I wanted to rectify any issues with my California return. I double-checked and confirmed the correct amounts were on the [redacted] R worksheet, but a mistake occurred on line 16b. This is my first problem in over thirty (30) years of using TurboTax. I attempted to sign in but faced login issues.

I am Tanya Triplets, and I submitted my taxes through your service in February. After paying to file, I received a notification that I needed to mail in my return, which I did on 04/09/[redacted]. However, I have yet to receive my refund. When checking the status, it only says a refund date will be provided. I am confused about the process as I paid to file online but had to send everything in by mail. I followed your guidance to ensure accurate completion, but the delay is unusual for me as I typically receive my refund within two weeks. Here is my new phone number, [redacted], and SSN ending in [redacted], with a refund amount of $[redacted]. Please assist me in understanding the situation. Thank you.

I paid a total of $99 to TurboTax for direct deposit of my federal refund into my bank account. However, instead of depositing the refund as requested, they sent me a paper check and charged an additional $[redacted] for it. This has resulted in a total of $[redacted] being deducted from my federal refund, causing a significant inconvenience. Additionally, I have not yet received my $[redacted] state refund, even though it shows as accepted and processed on my TurboTax account. It has been over three months since filing, and I am frustrated by the delay and the extra $[redacted] fee I paid for the state refund.

I am Tanya Triplett residing at [redacted] 98th Avenue East, Graham, WA [redacted]. I used TurboTax to file my taxes in February [redacted]. I paid with my Green Dot card. After receiving a letter from the IRS asking for paper documents, I sent them promptly. However, I am still waiting for my refund. When checking the status, it only states that the return is being processed without a clear date. TurboTax initially missed adding my son Bryce Wilson to the form, resulting in a correction of the return amount from $7,[redacted] to $8,[redacted]. Despite this, my refund is delayed, and I am unsure why. I have not encountered this issue before, and I expected better assistance from TurboTax considering their reputation for help.

I utilized TurboTax Deluxe software for my [redacted] Federal and State tax filings. I opted for the feature within TurboTax to deduct what I owed to the State of Missouri from my Federal return. Upon filing, the owed amount to the state was deducted, and the remaining Federal refund was received. Recently, I received a notice from the Missouri Department of Revenue stating they hadn't received the payment, billing me the due amount plus $76.56 in fees due by July 11th, [redacted]. After speaking with Sandy at the Missouri Department of Revenue, they claimed non-receipt of payment. Despite attempting to contact TurboTax, my attempts were unsuccessful. I emphasize the timeliness of resolving this issue and demand the $1,[redacted].00 owed to Missouri plus the $76.56 in fees be paid promptly with no further costs. I am requesting immediate human assistance to address this matter.

I recently received a notice from the IRS claiming I owe $[redacted] from my [redacted] federal return due to discrepancies in my pension and annuity income reported on form [redacted]. The letter points out that both line 16a and 16b should reflect $70,[redacted], whereas line 16b was mistakenly reported as $60,[redacted]. I believe this error could be attributed to TurboTax automatically populating the figures. As a retiree, my income no longer has pre-tax deductions, so this discrepancy is unsettling. I'm concerned this issue may extend to my [redacted] tax filings and potentially impact my state returns. I will need to review all the documentation carefully to address this matter promptly. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Regards, Karl V.

I contacted your company two weeks ago, and a representative connected me with Green Dot Bank to resolve a missing funds issue. They promised to send me a paper check, but it never arrived. After a second call, they admitted they hadn't actually sent the check and were supposed to send it to my PO box. I check daily but it's not there. I was told a USPS delivery shouldn't take two weeks, only 3 to 4 days. I urgently need to be contacted as it's been two weeks, and time is of the essence for personal reasons that I'd rather not discuss. I need my money immediately; waiting any longer is unacceptable.

I used TurboTax to file my taxes. Recently, I received an audit notice for tax years [redacted] and [redacted] and a proposed assessment for [redacted]. Because of inaccuracies in calculating my business use of home and vehicles on Schedule C, I now owe more in taxes, penalties, and interest than I've earned in the last three years. I won't be using TurboTax again. I advise all Schedule C filers to consult with a knowledgeable CPA familiar with your business/industry to avoid the issues I faced. I had to take out a home equity line of credit to cover the tax bill.

I recently received a letter from the IRS regarding my [redacted] taxes which I filed using TurboTax. Despite seeking assistance from their tax experts, I encountered a significant issue. While applying for the Earned Income Credit (EIC), I mistakenly claimed my 18-year-old child. I was assured by TurboTax that the software would reject any incorrect claims, which unfortunately did not happen. This error has resulted in a $[redacted] cost that I cannot afford. Additionally, as a married individual on SSDI, I sought guidance on whether to include it in my taxes when filing jointly, and I was misinformed by a tax expert, leading to a $[redacted] loss. I repeated the same error for my [redacted] taxes, compounding my financial burden for the coming year. I urgently need to speak to a knowledgeable individual at TurboTax to address these issues as my child's health and well-being depend on it. You can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted]-[redacted]-60*.

I purchased TurboTax Home and Business on disk in Spring [redacted]. I entered a lot of information until April 15, [redacted], when I couldn't find some details for my daughter. I printed a filing extension, submitted it, and tried to access my TurboTax [redacted] file today to finish and file, but all the data I entered in the Spring appears to be missing. I am perplexed as I clicked onto the file the same way as before. I would appreciate some help as this situation is really frustrating and disappointing.

This tax year, I filed my return late for the first time after being a customer since [redacted]. Both my federal and state returns were accepted on July 15th. I was informed that it could take up to 21 days, and the IRS confirmed processing, approval, and direct deposit on August 1st. By August 6th, the funds were not in my account, leading me to check my direct deposit details on August 5th, ensuring they were accurate. I chose to have my fees deducted from my return but now remember there is a third-party involved in this process. I am seeking assistance or further information about my return. Unfortunately, my TurboTax credentials are currently inaccessible. Your help in providing any updates on my tax return is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Ramona Lynn.

I am greatly disappointed with TurboTax and will not be using their services in the future. I purchased the [redacted] self-employed edition for $[redacted] on April 13, [redacted]. After filing for an extension, when I returned last week to complete my return, all my information was gone. TurboTax required me to start a new return and pay again. The lack of customer support is unacceptable. There is no phone number or chat option, only a community forum where finding answers is difficult. I searched for a support number online and encountered multiple unofficial numbers. Unfortunately, the one I connected with turned out to be a scam, resulting in a theft of my personal information and $[redacted] in charges within seconds. TurboTax and Intuit appear to have little regard for their customers. Experiencing such terrible support will surely lead to a decline in their business if others like me share their experiences exposing this issue.
