Help with my Troy-Bilt issue

I purchased a Troy-Bilt , TB-*** lawnmower on *******. On ******* it quit working. I could not get it started no matter what I tried. I took it back to Lowes where it has been for * weeks, supposedly getting repaired. My issue is that I only had the mower for * months and it should not have to be in the shop. I am a working man and I had to save my money to purchase a new mower. I did my research to find the best mower at the best price, and to also assure me that my initial choice of a Troy-Bilt would be my best choice. I was excited to get my new mower home and to put it to use. I was pleased when it started on the first pull each and every time. But, only * months later when I got out my Troy-Bilt to do my weekly grass cutting I was a little disturbed when I pulled the starter rope and nothing happened. I did all the trouble shooting and tried again and again to no avail. The mower simply would not start. I became very frustrated, and I must say, very disappointed in Troy-Bilt. My new mower, only * months old, would not start. Lowes would not replace it becasue i did not purchase an extended warranty with them. I explained to them that my new, *-month old mower had a * year warranty on it. They want to charge me to send it and get it fixed. They want to charge me for parts and labor. I do not think that is fair. I paid my good, hard earned money for a product that should be working with no problems, yet here I sit two weeks later with nothing to mow my grass. I contacted Lowes and they do not know when my mower will be repaired, or if they will have to order a part, or even if I will owe for any repairs. I work for a living and live from pay check to pay check. I cannot, nor should I be required to compete with million*billion dollar industries like Troy-Bilt or Lowes over a $*** lawn mower. Tomorrow is Saturday, my day off, the day I normally cut grass. But, even though I saved enough money to buy, what I thought was a respectable brand mower, I have nothing to use. Do you stand behind your products and your product name? Do you care if you hold respect of your customers? Will you make this right? Will you replace my mower with one I can use? Will you regain the respect I once had for the Troy-Bilt name. Or will you pass off the responsibility to Lowes who disrespects me becasue I did not purchase their extended warranty? Please respond.
