I recently received a call from the "Trivago Marketing Team" about buying my timeshare in Mexico. I had a conversation with "Alex" who provided me with a contact number [redacted]. They had my email and some vacation club details. After receiving an impressive "Proposal Offer" via email, I tried reaching out but found the number provided was not functional. The email on the proposal is "[redacted]". When Alex followed up requesting a copy of my contract, which is a public record, he transferred me to a supervisor, Mark Klein, who also provided a non-working number. I am still awaiting a call from either Alex or Mark regarding this matter.

I booked two hotel rooms through Trivago with booking numbers [redacted]63 and [redacted]64. The room charges were correct, but I was unexpectedly billed an international booking fee of $10.42 per booking. Despite booking a hotel from Perth to Melbourne in Australia, I was charged an international fee through Hong Kong. I have already contacted my bank, who advised me to seek a refund from Trivago for the total of $20.84. This fee issue has caused me to reach out to your company again after receiving no response to my initial email. If I do not hear back regarding this matter, I will escalate it to our consumer affairs department due to the unfair practice of adding extra fees. I plan to share my experience on Facebook to warn others about these unexpected charges. Sincerely, V.I.

I made a reservation at UG Royal Bangalore on 12/05/[redacted] for 14/05/[redacted] and paid Rs [redacted] through my Bank of India debit card. Upon arrival, no accommodation was provided by the hotel management. I tried to contact customer service but the link was not working. I submitted multiple complaints to request a refund for the payment but have not received a solution. I kindly request a prompt refund of the amount paid.

I made a reservation through Trivago for a stay at Le Pavillion in New Orleans from 10/9 to 10/12/18. The rate I was given was $[redacted] for 1 room, but I needed 2 rooms. I was directed to Hotels for Everyone's site by Trivago to complete the booking. After receiving a confirmation email showing Tourico Holidays as the company charging my credit card (Itinerary #T[redacted]3, confirmation #[redacted]82), I realized negative reviews about Tourico Holidays online and decided to cancel. I successfully cancelled online and received a confirmation email (cancellation #[redacted]). When attempting to confirm the cancellation with Hotels for Everyone by phone, they denied association with my reservation and disconnected my call. I called again, waited for 10 minutes, and was prompted to leave my number for a callback. This experience with Trivago has left me disappointed. I hope to verify that my cancellation is processed and that I will not be charged. - A. R. [redacted]

I had a booking at Calypso Cay Resorts in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. After not finding my reservation, I had to book another stay at a different hotel on site for $[redacted]. Unfortunately, the amount was not refunded when I couldn't use it due to the unexpected delay in my travel. After facing issues with the second reservation, the hotel staff provided a room only for a random person to walk in on me while I was getting dressed the next morning. The staff refunded that particular night's stay, but I feel more should be done for the inconvenience caused. I believe I should be refunded the $[redacted] for the initial booking and offered a complimentary stay for the troubles faced.

I made a reservation at Hacienda Encantada in Cabo San Lucas, thinking I was booking through Trivago. The reservation was for June 13-20. On June 12, I was informed about Hurricane Bud, a Category 3 storm heading towards Cabo. I contacted the airlines, car rental, and hotel to cancel, only then realizing I had booked through Bedfinders, not Trivago. I requested either new reservations or a refund but received no response. Bedfinders claimed the hotel had the money, while the hotel stated they don't receive payment until the end of the stay. My credit card company confirmed Bedfinders received the payment. I'm getting the runaround from Bedfinders. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as you were my original point of contact. Thank you, Patrick M.

I became ill with food poisoning on the day of my birthday, just two days before my scheduled check-in to celebrate. When I contacted the third-party company, I was unpleasantly surprised by the rude and condescending attitude of the representative I spoke to. Despite explaining my situation and expressing my inability to make it to the reservation due to my illness, I was met with insincere comments and a demand for a doctor's note. Given my severe condition, I mentioned that I couldn't visit a doctor and simply requested to reschedule my stay, not asking for a refund. The representative's lack of empathy and unhelpful behavior left me frustrated and disappointed. I hope that someone more understanding and capable at the company can reach out to assist me promptly. This is the third time I have tried to resolve this issue without success. I am looking forward to hearing from a more competent individual to address this matter once the weekend is over.

I tried to book a stay at The Legian Bali Resort through the trivago website, and I was redirected to booking.com where it showed a price of $[redacted] per night. I have a screenshot as proof. However, when I was on booking.com through the trivago link, the price was much higher than the advertised $[redacted]. I am hoping that trivago can honor the originally advertised price for my stay from January 4th to 7th, [redacted], for 3 adults at The Legian Bali Resort.

I recently booked a hotel through Trivago, but I had a frustrating experience during the reservation process. After selecting my dates and number of guests, I was redirected to Expedia to complete my booking. Unfortunately, I later realized that Expedia defaulted to the current night instead of the correct date, which led to an erroneous reservation. Despite contacting the hotel, I couldn't get a refund or change my booking due to their full capacity. I must pay $[redacted] for a room I didn't intend to book and find alternative accommodation. Although I acknowledge my oversight in not thoroughly checking the details, I'm disappointed that my chosen dates didn't transfer correctly from Trivago to Expedia.

I made a booking through Cancelon via the Trivago website for a Gold Room at Fairmont Whistler in BC. I paid $[redacted] CAD per night, but upon entering my credit card details, I was given a Standard 2 Queen Beds room instead, charged $[redacted], and did not receive the Gold Room perks. Cancelon only refunded me $80 initially. It was hours later that I noticed the error. Upset, I had to upgrade at the hotel for $[redacted] plus tax. I feel out at least $[redacted] due to false advertising. I demand compensation for this experience. I've already taken action by contacting the hotel and having Cancelon remove their misleading advertisement. Trust in Trivago as a reputable site has been shaken. My stay is scheduled from July 27-29 with booking number [redacted] through Cancelon. I urge for a resolution before check-in and can provide evidence of the deceptive advertising if necessary. Thank you, Sonja K.

Good afternoon, Yesterday evening, I made a hotel reservation for my upcoming trip to Beijing from August 5th to 11th (5 nights) using your mobile app. I specifically searched for hotels in the Sanlitun area and selected the InterContinental Beijing Sanlitun. However, after booking, I realized that the reservation was actually for a hotel in Jinan, a different city in China. I kindly request the immediate cancellation of this booking and a full refund, as this was not the location I intended to book. I have taken screenshots of the issue and can provide them for your review if needed. I am a frequent user of your service and am confused as to why this error occurred. I appreciate your prompt assistance in resolving this issue and reviewing your app to prevent similar occurrences. The payment was processed using a Mastercard ending in [redacted]. I look forward to your prompt response. Thank you, B. Luz

I made a reservation through HotelQuickly for Town Center Westgate Resort, but my email confirmation was for Westgate Vacation Villa, a different resort. HotelQuickly believes it's a process error and hasn't resolved this. I want to be credited or rebooked for the correct resort I paid for. I provided proof from the website showing the Town Center reservation. Customer service should accommodate me in this situation.

On September 19, [redacted], I made a reservation through Trivago for a trip to Manchebo Beach, Aruba from February 4-11, [redacted]. Despite numerous calls and emails, the booking ended up at Blue Villas instead of Manchebo. Cancelon, the booking agent, was unhelpful and unwilling to fix the error, offering a stay at their own hotel instead. After many frustrating conversations, I managed to secure a booking at Manchebo Beach Hotel for March 29 - April 5, [redacted]. I requested Cancelon cover the increased cost due to their mistake. By February 23, [redacted], the correct reservation was finally confirmed. However, the delay caused additional charges for changing airline tickets, totaling $1,[redacted].50. Trivago's failure to fulfill my original request created a disappointing and costly experience. I expect Trivago to compensate me for the incurred expenses. Darla M. Greiner

I am considering booking a room at the Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort. However, I am confused by the room options named "Double Guest Room" and "Double Guest Room, Room only" as there are no descriptions available. I specifically require a room with a king bed. The hotel provides details for the following room types: 1. RESORT ROOM - ONE KING BED: Non-smoking room with a king bed, resort view, 55" TV, workspace, and mini-bar. 2. RESORT ROOM - BALCONY/PATIO - ONE KING BED: Non-smoking room with a king bed, resort view, patio/balcony, 55" TV, and larger square footage. I appreciate the detailed description of the rooms provided by the hotel, but I would like further clarification on the "Double Guest Room" options before making a decision.

I arrived at Motel 6 in Rock Hill, SC [redacted] at 11 a.m. hoping to check in. Unfortunately, they informed me that the room I had reserved on Trivago wasn't available for check-in at that time. I had to find accommodation elsewhere. If you need to reach me, please call at [redacted]. I believe it wasn't my fault that the room wasn't ready at 11 a.m. as I had reserved, so I would appreciate a prompt response to address this issue. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I reserved a room for 1 adult and 2 children, but the accommodation provided has only 2 beds. Despite my request, the hotel lacks extra beds for my third child. "Love Holidays" declined my request for a different hotel, stating that in Spain, it is common for parents to share a bed with their child. I disagree with this policy. I paid for a room for three individuals and anticipate having separate beds. I prefer not to have a 5-year-old and 8-year-old kicking me during the night.

I am attempting to reserve a trip to Chicago from August 31 to September 3 for a family comprising 3 adults and three children aged 2, 3, and 6. The Trump hotel displays a rate of $[redacted].00 per night, yet upon selecting it, the price jumps to over $[redacted] per night. Despite contacting the hotel, the best offer I received was $[redacted].00 per night for a smaller room which may not be adequate for my family's needs. Can you confirm the listed deal and explain why the advertised rate is not available during booking?

Hello Team, I would like to report an issue with my hotel booking at One15 Marina Club Singapore from 1st Oct to 3rd Oct [redacted] (Confirmation# [redacted] & Pin#[redacted]). At the time of booking, the final price displayed was [redacted], but it did not include an additional 7% and 10% for service and other charges, which were added later without prior notice. Other vendors are offering the same hotel at 22k inclusive of all taxes and charges, making me question why I am being asked to pay 24k. I am disappointed by this lack of transparency. I am unable to find a contact number to address this concern, which is frustrating. This has been my first experience with Trivago, and it has been disappointing. I request your assistance in processing a refund or having a Trivago customer care representative contact me to provide an explanation. Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated; otherwise, I may have to share my feedback on Trivago's service on social media platforms. Thank you for your support. Best regards, Rajan K

I have been visiting your website for the past week, and I noticed that The Grand at Moon Palace is advertised for $[redacted] per night for my stay from 10/5 to 10/11/18. However, when I click on the deal, it redirects me to the hotel's website, where the room is priced at $[redacted] per night. I am interested in booking through your offer, but I am struggling to locate where the discounted rate is available. I understand that prices are subject to change, but the rate of $[redacted] per night has been consistently displayed for more than a week, including today. If you can honor this rate, I am eager to make a reservation today. Thank you.

I believe Trivago is falsely advertising rooms for the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. I purchased a room that was described as a "king or queen bedroom," but upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that it was a "run of the house" room. This information was not disclosed to me prior to booking, and I would not have chosen a $[redacted] "run of the house" room. It appears to be a tactic to fill a leftover room. I am extremely dissatisfied with my initial experience using Trivago. I am requesting a refund of my money. False advertising is illegal and customers should not be deceived in this manner.
