I used Trivago to book a hotel in New Orleans for **** - ********. The hotel was Le Pavillion, and I was quoted a rate of $***. I realized they had booked only * room when in fact I needed * (this was my mistake). When I was on the Trivago site, it sent me to Hotels for Everyone, who Trivago said had the best rate. When I received a confirmation (Itinerary *T********* confirmation **********), it said that the reservation was charged on my credit card by Tourico Holidays!. I cancelled it on-line and received an e-mail that said the cancellation was successfully made (cancellation ***********). I then read multiple reviews about "Tourico Holidays" which said this company is awful and essentially a scam! I tried to reach Hotels for Everyone on the phone to insure that my cancellation was received and that my credit card would NOT be charged. When I read them the itinerary *, they said it was not theirs, and I was cut off. I called again and held for about ** minutes, and then got a recording saying to leave my phone * and someone would call me back.*This is my first time using Trivago and I am VERY disappointed!!! Please confirm that my cancellation has, in fact, been processed and I am not charged for this hotel room*I look forward to your reply. Thank you for your assistance.**Alan Riecke ******@***.com
