i would like to officially log my complaint regarding my travel experience with Biman Bangladesh airlines as my booking was made through Tripsta. I booked business class travel for myself and my mother as she is an elderly ** year old lady who has all kinds of medical conditions. She has trouble walking and gets tired very easily hence why I booked special assistance with Tripsta as well. My mums feet swell up when travelling on the plane so I thought as a onetime opportunity I would upgrade her to something where she can have luxuries of putting her feet up and the space to stretch so her feet dont swell. On the way out to Bangladesh in the flight I felt like the extra money I paid for the privilege for the business class was actually awful. There were a lot of mechanical issues with our seats and the electronic devices for example *. USB charger port was broken *. Plug charger was broken *. The touchscreen was not working and the remote was temperamental. *. The seat wouldnt completely fold out like it was supposed to allow comfort for my mums feet which led to her feet swelling. I did complain about these issues but I was told that there is not anything they can do at the time because they are all mechanical issues. My issue with that is those things are the perks which I paid extra money for. To top things off the airline staff were allowing some of the economy customers walk in and out of Business class and use those facilities which again makes me feel I wasted my money as we paid for those perks. Those were the issues on the way out to Bangladesh. On the way back to the UK we had out flight schedule changed * times which I didnt mind but it did cause inconvenience for my elderly mother having to travel late night. On the flight return the issues included *. Kids running around like it was a playground *. My mums seat wouldnt work properly at all and her feet had swollen like a balloon. *. We were told we were not allowed to use the toilet facilities in the business class and had to use the economy class even though other business clients were allowed to use them and they were not out of commission but for some reason we were not allowed. My problem with all of this is that my elderly mum had to walk further into economy to use the toilets even though we paid for privileges in business class. Her seat wouldnt fold out so she couldnt properly rest her feet and her feet swelled up. Overall I feel robbed of a onetime opportunity that I wanted to give my mother an experience of a lifetime and travel in class but this experience was actually really quite awful and I feel like I wasted my time and money with this airline and I would like to be refunded for losing out on perks I paid for. I have raised my complaint with Tripsta as I booked through Tripsta but if you cant help please can you send me details of who I need to contact because I am disgusted with how we have been treated.
