I recently used your platform to leave a review for a place I stayed at, which required me to input my email address. However, since then, I have been receiving emails from your company using my name. This feels like a violation of my privacy. I do not want to continue using your services, nor do I wish to receive any further communications from you. I believe that leaving a review should not entail surrendering my freedom and personal information for your global profiling purposes. I have already spent a significant amount of time addressing this with you, and time is valuable. Please address this issue promptly by removing my email and ensuring that others can easily opt-out of your platform. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

On April 8, [redacted], my husband and I dined at "Sora Maria e Arcangelo" in Olevano Romano, a restaurant we had previously enjoyed. Unfortunately, this time our experience was disappointing. While the initial courses were acceptable, the rest of the food was mediocre. Upon expressing our dissatisfaction with the owner while settling the bill, we were met with hostility. The owner's aggressive reaction, where he insulted and chased us into the street, was uncalled for. Despite our silence, the situation escalated unnecessarily. The subsequent need for an intestinal disinfectant due to food-related issues further added to our unpleasant experience. Our honest review detailing this encounter was promptly removed from the restaurant's page. I seek clarity on the removal process and hope for integrity in addressing this matter. - Angela Giovanardi

I made a booking for a Harbor Cruise in Auckland, New Zealand through TripAdvisor on April 10th for 2 tickets. Unfortunately, upon arrival at the port, I was informed that the tour got canceled due to boat mechanical issues. Despite requesting a refund from the operator, they directed me to contact TripAdvisor for the refund process. I attempted to seek a refund online but was unsuccessful in doing so. When I tried to cancel the booking, I was informed that a 3-day notice was required, which was not feasible given the circumstances of the cancellation by the provider. Fuller Group LTD mentioned they refunded $[redacted] NZD to TripAdvisor for my booking. My booking Reference is BR-[redacted]10 for the morning cruise on April 10th, with the afternoon cruise also being canceled. As I am departing for the USA on April 11th, rescheduling is not an option. Kindly process a refund of $[redacted] NZD to my credit card.

Several years ago, we decided to expand our coffee shop business to include a restaurant. The transition led to a learning curve and adjustment period that resulted in some negative reviews. This setback significantly affected our overall ranking. I have read that over time, reviews lose their impact on the scoring system. However, despite several years passing and the majority of our reviews being positive, our recovery process seems minimal. Our restaurant, Café San Ángel, has been a prominent establishment in Puerto Vallarta for 21 years. We have observed that new restaurants achieve high rankings with very few reviews. While I understand that an algorithm determines rankings, I would like to kindly request a human review of our situation to potentially give more weight to our current business phase and reduce the significance of our initial phase, which was nearly a decade ago. I recently tried to list our restaurant, 37 Steakhouse & Bar in Shanghai, but it was rejected. The reason provided was a potential duplicate listing or failure to meet formatting requirements. After verifying, there is no other 37 Steakhouse & Bar in Shanghai, China; we are the only one. Our parent company in Japan, with the same name, is already listed on TripAdvisor. We've reviewed the guidelines and are in compliance. Unfortunately, Trip Advisor did not specify the exact issue. I am unable to contact them directly for clarification. I would appreciate someone from Trip Advisor reaching out to assist. Thank you!

I have tried to set up a Cost Per Click account for my property. After communicating with TripAdvisor via email, they advised me to confirm my listing setup with my Connectivity Partner. I have done so, and it is correct. However, after confirming with my Partner, TripAdvisor has not responded to my emails requesting assistance with the issue of constantly having to sign up for the account every day. I am seeking help from a tech specialist to investigate why my account is not functioning properly and only allowing me to sign up repeatedly. The property is White Cedar Inn B&B in Freeport, Maine. Hello, I am reaching out about my listing ID#[redacted]0. I have a few issues that need to be addressed before subscribing to preferred access. I am unable to change the email address to [redacted] because it is showing as already in use. Yucca Beachfront Cabinas is being displayed as a cottage/camping ground instead of a small hotel. It meets all the requirements of a small hotel, as can be seen in the photos on my website www.cabinas-yucca.com. I accidentally created a profile that is not related to my business and I would like it deleted. I am having trouble booking tour activities in Toronto and Niagara Falls. Every time I try to make a payment, I receive an error message despite using different Credit and Debit cards. My latest attempt was to book 4 activities totaling INR25513.54 ($[redacted].66) using my valid credit card ending in [redacted], but I was unsuccessful again. Please investigate the payment gateway issue so I can proceed with booking my desired activities.

We are the owners of a UK hotel listed on TripAdvisor. Over the past eight years, we have personally undertaken numerous refurbishments at our property instead of using outside companies. As a result, we do not have documentation to verify these updates, as the improvements have been ongoing. Some traveler photos displayed on our listing are significantly outdated and misrepresent the current standards of our establishment, which we find detrimental to our business. Unfortunately, we have never closed the hotel for renovations, so we do not have a closure date to provide. Removing the outdated photographs seems challenging, as the only apparent solution is to suspend our property on TripAdvisor, claiming closure - a step that could further harm our business. It would be beneficial if we could have more control over the photos displayed, similar to other websites we use. We believe it is important to provide accurate information to potential guests. I am seeking assistance regarding a refund issue with B. Modern Space. I had booked a trip to Brooklyn, NY for May 15th, [redacted], but had to cancel due to the distance from my daughter's house. Despite cancelling on Trip Advisor on February 20th, they have not cooperated. A negotiator mentioned the trip was canceled on their end, but they haven't refunded my credit card. I need to modify the number of guests for reservation #BR[redacted]3-2 (Casa Cruz) in Portugal from May 24 to May 26. Originally booked for 9 guests, I adjusted it to 8 guests upon request. However, due to personal reasons (my mother-in-law's critical condition), my husband and I can no longer go, reducing the count to 6 guests, as confirmed by the owner. Despite the owner's attempts, TripAdvisor advised me to contact you since there was a prior change. I am experiencing ongoing issues with the property owner, feeling constantly harassed and unsafe. I have contacted Tripadvisor multiple times, seeking resolution. Despite assurances, the owner sent a threatening eviction notice, leaving me in a flooded, powerless apartment. Tripadvisor initially offered a refund, but I refused, thinking the situation was resolved. As it hasn't improved, I now seek a refund for the remaining days and request the owner's listing be removed from Tripadvisor.

While on a cruise, I was unable to access my email to retrieve my booking reference BR [redacted]82. I provided the paid in full reference number at the Park Guell ticket office, but they directed me to Europa Today Office for the tickets which were not available. Despite attempting to call Europa Today with no response, another individual facing the same issue mentioned that the office was unattended. Sadly, I missed visiting Park Guell, a popular location, leading to a disappointing day. I am requesting a refund for the ticket price for my wife and me ($16.42), reimbursement for the transportation cost to the park (€20), and compensation for the lost day ($[redacted]). I made a reservation for the Rideau Canal Cruise in Ottawa, Ontario on Thursday, May 23 at 10 AM for CAD 29.00. Due to high water levels, all cruises have been canceled. I booked through Trip Advisor, and they directed me to contact you for a refund. However, when I tried to cancel, I was told that sales are final and refunds are not possible. There was an incident at my Quit Smoking Wellness Program where a non-smoker, a friend of a client, behaved disruptively due to alcohol consumption and was removed by the resort staff. I am not affiliated with the resort nor do I have an account with Trip Advisor. I possess ample documentation to support my request for the removal of a negative review about the incident. This includes a city police report, an incident report, a letter from a witness, and a statement from the resort's security department. The person who left the review had no direct contact with my program and lacks the expertise to evaluate it accurately. Moreover, she has been making defamatory remarks about me on social media and other platforms. My aim is to address the unfair portrayal of the situation and preserve the integrity of my business. Hello, I recently made a booking for a Chianti tour in Italy through TripAdvisor. Initially, I rescheduled the tour for a week later and received confirmation of the date change.
