I am experiencing issues with a service provider using my business name without the necessary licensing and insurance. This individual, operating under the name Napa Sonoma Wine Tasting Driver, has a cease & desist order from the PUC in California. Despite my serving him with a cease & desist order, he continues his operations from Oregon, targeting Napa and Sonoma, California, through his website. To validate my claims, you can contact him at [redacted] and request legal documentation such as insurance, TCP License, and Business License. I have also been in contact with the PUC and can provide you with the relevant documentation. If you need further details, please let me know.

I made a reservation for a 2-night stay in Portland, OR in early March through PayPal for the "Heart of Multnomah" cottage. Despite receiving welcoming emails and texts from TripAdvisor and information from the owner on August 1st, I arrived at the rental to find it locked and empty. After reaching out to the owner, Teresa, I was informed that the studio had been rented out to someone else for the weekend and that my prepaid reservation hadn't synchronized properly. This caused problems with our friends' 50-year reunion plans. I'm waiting for a full refund promptly and wanted to express that I will not be using this service again. I felt the need to share this disappointing experience.

Dear TripAdvisor, I would like to address an issue regarding a guest review at Villa Brown Jerusalem Hotel. Despite my 12 years of experience in the hospitality business, a guest named Neel left a very negative review of their stay. I tried to rectify the situation by offering a complimentary gift stay but the guest declined. I also attempted to negotiate a discount with the booking agency to no avail. I have attached WhatsApp conversations with Neel for reference. The guest has now posted two negative reviews, which I find unfair and personal. I seek your assistance as these reviews are impacting my reputation. Could you please review the situation and provide guidance? Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Sincerely,

Subject: Trip Cancellation Due to Hurricane Lane I am writing to address the cancellation of my trip to Maui, which was scheduled from August 27th to August 30th, [redacted]. This decision was influenced by the state of emergency declared in Hawaii due to Hurricane Lane. I had made the booking under the name Ryan Taylor with Booking Reference BR[redacted]5, totaling $[redacted].30 paid through my American Express. Given the circumstances which are beyond my control, I am kindly requesting a full refund for the trip. I had a flight planned for August 25th, [redacted], and I am able to provide evidence of this arrangement if needed for verification. Despite the reluctance expressed by the owner's representative "Sebastian," I believe that a refund is only fair considering the extreme conditions caused by the natural disaster. Thank you for understanding.

Regarding Booking BR[redacted]2-2 Our planned check-in dates were from July 7 to July 14. Unfortunately, on June 24, I was diagnosed with pneumonia, lasting six weeks, preventing me from traveling as advised by my physician. I promptly informed the owners, who have a one-month cancellation policy. Despite them saying they would assist, communication has been lacking. We have requested a partial refund, the possibility of rescheduling for Labor Day, or booking for next year. I have reached out to them today. Any assistance in reaching a fair resolution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Our limousine company offers black car services for individuals and corporate accounts, limousines for entertainment, as well as wine and beer tours. Additionally, we provide party buses for entertainment events and wine and beer tours. While our company is listed under Taxis, Shuttles, and Transportation, we want to clarify that we do not operate as a taxi service. We believe that including these services on our listing will better assist clients in finding the right transportation for their needs, whether it's a ride to the airport, a bachelorette party limousine, or a party bus for a wine or beer tour. Thank you for considering our suggestion to enhance the listings to accurately reflect the services we offer.

Dear Community Members, A recent guest (Chandrasha) left a review on 02.06.[redacted] about our large complex, 'Golden Sands Apartments,' located in South Goa, India. Unfortunately, the guest did not specify which apartment she stayed in out of our 36 available apartments. In response to her feedback, we kindly requested her to provide more details, including her booking information and the specific apartment she encountered issues with. Our response regarding this matter was disapproved, with a suggestion to use the 'management response form.' However, no link was provided for easy access to this form. We would appreciate your guidance on how we can access this form to address the guest's concerns properly. We also intend to communicate this situation to the Tripadvisor management team for further clarification. Thank you for your prompt assistance. Warm regards, Management at Golden Sands LLP

I am encountering a similar issue with my marketing company. I recently set up a small venture focused on affiliate marketing and intended to partner with Trip Advisor. However, Trip Advisor's affiliate program is now managed by Commission Junction, also known as Rakuten. Upon applying to CJ, my company was deemed not meeting their criteria as a publisher. Given this setback, I am seeking advice on how to become a Trip Advisor affiliate without CJ's approval. I have numerous travel-related ideas that align with Trip Advisor's services, and I aim to earn commissions by referring customers. Any suggestions on how to resolve this hurdle would be greatly valued.

Three guests stayed at our Guest House in Australia for three days. Today, the sister-in-law posted a review called 'First Impressions' under the name 'Pricey', which the male guest and I are not satisfied with. The husband wants her to remove it as he acknowledges it is false. He mentioned he will ensure it gets deleted. The husband is upset about the review and apologized. The sister-in-law did not realize the review would be public. The guests did not mention any problems during their stay and the bill was settled without issue. The husband had no parking problems, as he parked on the drive and we have evidence to support this with CCTV footage. We offered cleaning services daily, which they accepted only on Friday. The male guest was content with his stay, and it seems so was the wife. The review contains inaccuracies that we urge to be taken down.

Hello, I signed up my company on your website more than three months ago, but I have not received any communication from Trip Advisor since then. I operate a booking company and have already served over [redacted] clients this season. Unfortunately, there is no platform for them to share their trip experiences through reviews. It would be great to receive a response regarding my registration as the lack of reviews is hindering new visitors from coming to my website. I am eagerly awaiting assistance to resolve this matter and improve the setup for my company, This Is My Shark Life. Thank you. I am the owner of Eddie's Italian Restaurant in Longs, South Carolina. Recently, I received a one-star review from someone with whom I had an unrelated dispute outside of the restaurant. The reviewer mentioned finding a roach in his grandson's salad, which is an absurd claim. Firstly, there is no one named Chase working at my restaurant, and I am present from open to close. I have surveillance tapes that can prove he was not present. Additionally, I had temporarily closed due to flooding in the area and only reopened recently. I maintain a flawless DHEC score of [redacted], and even my health inspector dines at my restaurant. This business supports my family, including putting my children through college. I am prepared to take legal action for this slanderous review and can provide witnesses and a list of my employees if necessary. It's worth noting that this was the reviewer's first post. I urge you to verify reviews before posting them. Thank you for looking into this matter. Eddie Sprouse

Hello, I would like to cancel my reservation with the booking reference number BR[redacted]3. Upon realizing the location discrepancy between the website listing near Lake Lure and Asheville and the actual distance, I reached out to the property manager, Chip from Sundog Vacation Rentals. Chip confirmed the misinformation and advised I could cancel. Following this, I contacted Southern Resort Group, who also acknowledged the error. To secure another property on FlipKey, I kindly request the prompt processing of this cancellation. I anticipate your efficient response. For further communication, please reach me at [redacted]. Thank you, Artie Prater

I had a guest stay at my inn who checked in on 06/28/18 for a 4-night stay at the Red Roof Inn in Prattville, AL. The guest complained about a bed bug on the 3rd night in Room [redacted], so we moved them to a different room for the final night. We had pest control come in on July 2nd, [redacted], but they didn't find any bed bugs in the room. Despite this, we still had them treat the room as a precaution. I asked my manager to refund the guest for the stay, but as it was a prepaid reservation, there were challenges. The guest then posted a negative review on TripAdvisor, affecting our business. I have a statement from the pest control company regarding their findings. I kindly request that the review be taken down as it is impacting our business, especially after investing $[redacted],[redacted] in renovating from Howard Johnson to Red Roof Inn. Thank you for considering this request.

We arrived at our rental on [redacted] Carolina Boulevard in Isle of Palms, SC only to discover the property hadn't been cleaned, and the pool was extremely dirty. Despite being offered another property, it did not meet our expectations, both in terms of quality and cleanliness of the pool. Given that we have children, an unusable pool is a major inconvenience. Finding a new accommodation by 8 pm, past the kids' bedtime, with no time for them to eat, significantly impacted our vacation. We request an immediate refund, as suggested by the American Express representative. Despite being advised to go through the management company, we are reaching out to TripAdvisor for assistance. We hope for a quick resolution. Thank you, S. D.

Hello, we are currently dealing with false reviews left on our company pages by Katie G., aimed at sabotaging her ex-husband Joe, a former chef at our properties. The reviews were left on the Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center and the farmer's daughter Restaurant pages in Blue Bell, PA. One review criticized the hotel management, mentioning Joe's current wife, Alexandra. The other review made concerning claims about a cook at the restaurant. We kindly request these inaccurate reviews be removed as neither Joe nor Alexandra are employed here anymore. I appreciate your assistance with this matter. Thank you, Nicole Fazio Marketing Manager Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center

I am sharing my recent experience and expressing my disappointment. During our trip, we did not receive the Deluxe all-inclusive service we had paid for. The lunch venue was disappointing, the food subpar, and the facilities were inadequate. Furthermore, the snacks were not complimentary and were overly priced. However, I must commend the crew for their exceptional service. Despite the shortcomings, I am only requesting a partial refund as I acknowledge their efforts. The tour lacked proper organization, and we spent too much time needlessly on a hot and humid island. The vessel also faced issues with docking at the harbor, causing further inconvenience. I believe improvements are necessary to truly provide a deluxe experience. Looking forward to hearing from you. - Profesor Ed and Liliana Davies.

Hello, I am a property owner and a long-time member of TripAdvisor. Yesterday, I confirmed booking number BR[redacted]6 for Ryan S. When I tried to send her our details, I received a message stating that TripAdvisor was unable to deliver my message to Ryan because it contained contact details or payment instructions, which goes against their terms of use. They requested that I resend my message without any such information and conduct all payments through their website. I am confused as to why I cannot send a message to a guest confirming their booking, especially when the payment was processed through TripAdvisor. I believe guests should receive all the relevant information from me, as the host, prior to their arrival. I believe this policy regarding confirmed bookings should be reconsidered. Best regards, Smadar B.

I encountered a problem checking into Hyde Park Hotel before an event. No one was at the office around 1:30 on a Saturday. When we returned at 5:30, the staff member let us in without anyone else there, provided a room number and access code. Unfortunately, the room was already occupied. The staff member only assisted after 10 minutes by giving us another room, but we felt uneasy and decided to leave. The staff member then complained loudly about not being able to sell the occupied room due to overselling. He was rude, hung up on me, and made unprofessional comments to other guests about our situation. We can't stay somewhere that freely gives out room numbers and door codes, especially as we carry important personal items while traveling. He suggested cancelling, but I'm hesitant about facing a penalty as we made a genuine effort to check in correctly but felt unsafe.

Hello, I am Sylvie, the owner of LE CAFE FRANCAIS in Galle Fort. There was a recent review by "Anaelle" mistakenly posted under LE JARDIN DU FORT, which is located in the same building at 52 Leynbaan Street in Galle Fort. Despite sharing the premises, these two businesses are not connected. The review wrongly assumes a business relationship due to similar aesthetics on a shared canopy. As the owner of LE CAFE FRANCAIS, I can confirm that our only connection with LE JARDIN DU FORT is selling them croissants and renting the premises. The staff mentioned in the review are my employees and have no affiliation with LE JARDIN DU FORT. I take responsibility for this confusion and kindly request that the review is associated with my cafe, LE CAFE FRANCAIS, not LE JARDIN DU FORT.

We have noticed an error in the business description of our listing 'Sadhana Forest - Auroville' on www.tripadvisor.fr. The apostrophe is displayed as ''' in the text. Our project in Auroville, Tamil Nadu, India, welcomes visitors at any time. The community offers guided tours, documentaries, and serves a vegan organic dinner every Friday, all free of charge and no reservation needed. For more information, visit the Sadhana Forest website. Unfortunately, our approved French translation has disappeared, preventing us from correcting this issue. We would appreciate your assistance. Thank you. Best regards, Peter - Sadhana Forest Team
