When we first arrived (yesterday) the room was dirty for multiple reasons, dead flys on the ceiling, the bathroom door handle was hanging off, the carpet was coming off and the side was dirty, and there was only * hangers and no draws so we couldn’t fully unpack our case. All off this we could cope with, however, when I went to get into the shower, the shower curtain was dirty with stain marks on it. so after complaining we got moved into another room, which I was happy with as the staff was cooperative and was happy to swap us. Once we got into the second room the paint was coming off, and the shower curtain was still dirty, we decided that the room was sufficient. We paid for * days breakfast so we thought we would try this out this morning, which turned out to be a shambles. Firstly, one of us went to cut into our sausage and there was a hair in our food, all the jucies was watered down, and when we went to get a our drinks the staff clearled the table when we clearly didn’t touch our plates. To say we paid £** for * days breakfast to have a weak selection on bacon, sausage, scrambled egg and beans, there isn’t enough there for that kind of charge. I went to complain once again about the service and the woman at the front desk recommended me to come here as they cannot issue a refund as it’s pre paid. Overall for this holiday (including travel) we paid more than £*** to come here for New Years for * nights for it to get spoilt. This was our first night and we leave on the *nd of January and it’s safe to say we won’t be visiting this Travel lodge again or any other if this is the kind of service they provide.
