Tried to get my booking transferred to one of their hotels in Edinburgh but they wouldn't agree ... On **th June my husband & I booked to stay at Edinburgh Dreghorn, due to illness etc at work we could not get away on these dates, When I contacted hotel I was told that because it was saver rate I could not get a refund, at £*** for * nights I did not think it was a saver price! I was panicking at losing that money so asked if I could have different dates They said ok but I had to make a quick decision there & then. I said the **st of Aug for the * nights it meant I was losing out on a few hundred pounds as the price was cheaper . However I no longer have transport so wondered if it would be possible to get into one of the city hotels in Edinburgh as I would be able to get public transport there. I live in Aviemore in the highlands & understand the Dreghorn is some way out of Edinburgh, please I would be most grateful if you could help us.
Is that they have £*** of my money I said I would only stay for * nights instead of the * nights booked meaning I would be paying £*** per room per night,just a basic room,why are they so unreasonable?
I would like them to rethink the situation
I've tried to reason with them on the telephone, finally realised it's a waste of time ,just costing me more money @**p a minute
