I need to modify a flight for a business trip. Travelocity booked me on two one-way flights with different airlines - United and Delta, which is not an issue. I attempted to change the first flight on their website but had trouble proceeding to the payment page; it kept redirecting me to available flights. Despite canceling to receive credit, I faced challenges rebooking. I received an email confirming the cancellation and credit. However, when trying to change the second flight, the website repeatedly asked me to sign in, although I was already signed in. Contacting customer service is not viable due to the long wait times. Swift modifications are crucial for my business trip, and Travelocity's service has led to my decision to no longer use their platform.

I was instructed by a Travelocity customer service representative to call back in two hours at 8:30. I called back at noon, giving ample time to inquire about changing my reservation made on April 9th, which was switched to May 9th, to today. I hope to secure a room closer to my location with a zip code of [redacted]. It is currently 12:26, and I would appreciate knowing if a room is available before they are fully booked. After speaking to a main customer service representative named Jason, I was instructed to call back two hours later. Travelocity informed me of a 2-hour wait at noon, prompting me to contact Days Inn Windham suites for assistance. Unfortunately, they were unhelpful and directed me to AT&T. I paid for this reservation on April 9th and expect it to be honored. Due to the inconvenience and previous issues with other booking platforms, I am eager to resolve this promptly. I have reported these matters to various consumer protection agencies and my bank. Reservation number is [redacted]. Thank you.

I've been charged four times on my credit card for booking a flight from MSP to Maine on July 25th and back from Baltimore to MSP on August 1st. The total amount charged was $[redacted].20, with $[redacted].60 for Delta and no charge for Sun Country. The numbers don't match up, and I haven't received any flight booking email or number. My credit card is in good standing, but Sun Country had trouble with my current address, even though I've lived at the same address for 30 years. My credit card has four pending charges of $[redacted].60 each without a complete booking. I haven't been able to reach anyone to resolve this issue, just non-human voice assistance. I'm extremely disappointed as I've never faced so many problems with any other travel agency. The wait times on the phone are too long.

I received an email indicating our trip from Seattle, WA to Melbourne, FL was cancelled. I need to either request a refund or reschedule our flight. Although Travelocity's website shows the trip as still active, I am unable to access the itinerary without the number, which I do not have. I am seeking confirmation of the trip status for my husband and me. Could you please provide the itinerary number? Our departure is scheduled for July 8, [redacted], first on AA [redacted] to LAX, then AA [redacted] to CLT, and finally AA [redacted] to Melbourne, FL. The return trip includes AA [redacted] to CLT, and then AA [redacted] back to Seattle, WA. I have a confirmation number from AA for the flight, which is [redacted][redacted]. We need clarification on whether the email is genuine or not and appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

We have reserved a van through Travelocity with a booking number [redacted][redacted]. The pickup was scheduled for June 6 in Phoenix and drop-off in Las Vegas on June 17, but due to flight changes with Southwest (Flight #[redacted]), we need to adjust the drop-off time to 7:00 a.m. We are encountering difficulties making this change with FOX car rental. We hope to resolve this matter promptly and without additional charges. We can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted]. Your urgent attention to this matter is appreciated.

I am seeking assistance regarding my Travelocity travel confirmation for a trip to Jamaica on July 21 with Itinerary number [redacted][redacted]. I made a booking for a package with airfare and Hotel Melia Braco on January 7. However, I have recently learned that the hotel has been closed since May [redacted] and will not reopen until September [redacted]. Travelocity allowed me to book with a hotel that is currently closed, and I am now requesting a full refund for both the hotel and United Airlines airfare so that I can explore other options. I prefer a refund rather than receiving air credit, as I would like the flexibility to choose the best airline option available, not just United Airlines. It is imperative for me to receive a prompt resolution to this Travelocity error, as I have lost valuable time that could have been used to secure alternative accommodations at better prices. I independently verified the hotel closure online and with Melia, and I am still awaiting official communication from Travelocity regarding this matter.

Subject: Issue with Itinerary # [redacted][redacted] Hello, I am reaching out regarding the itinerary mentioned above. I want to express my dissatisfaction with Travelocity's customer service, which I found to be highly unsatisfactory. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered, leading me to reconsider using Travelocity in the future. This itinerary originally involved flights scheduled for spring [redacted] that were canceled due to the pandemic. I was issued credits for United and Delta flights through Travelocity. When trying to utilize this credit for a flight from MSN to PWM, I encountered multiple issues. Despite attempting to book online, I was unable to do so and had to contact Travelocity directly. Upon calling, I was informed of a 4-hour wait time with an option for a callback. However, after receiving the callback and selecting the appropriate option, I was abruptly disconnected without further assistance. Subsequent calls proved to be equally frustrating, with repeated long wait times, technical difficulties, and challenges in completing the booking. After a prolonged and inefficient process, I eventually managed to secure a reservation for my outbound flight but encountered further complications when booking my return flight. Following the booking, I only received email confirmation for the Delta flight, leaving me without the necessary information to select seats for the United flight. Attempts to access my itinerary on the Travelocity website proved futile as the flight details were not displayed adequately. Despite multiple attempts, I could not retrieve the confirmation number needed from the website. The chat support was also inaccessible initially and unhelpful when I did manage to connect after several days. Due to these ongoing issues and the lack of resolution, I eventually opted to book the return flight directly through the United website, canceling the Travelocity booking in the process. While I was provided with a credit, the overall experience has left me hesitant about future dealings with Travelocity. I appreciate your attention to this matter and would be interested in learning about the measures being taken to prevent similar incidents in the future. Thank you.

I reached out to Travelocity on May 3 to cancel my July [redacted] trip due to Covid-19. I was issued airline credits expiring in June [redacted] but need an extension until December [redacted] for my trip to Seattle. If extension isn't possible, I'd like a refund or credit to my card. I emailed on May 3, got a call the next day promising contact within 24-48 hrs, but heard nothing since. Initially contacted United, then Air Canada, and now seeking your assistance. My itinerary # is [redacted][redacted], and my phone is [redacted]. Hoping for your support. -Beverley F.

In [redacted], I initially booked flights from St. Louis to Eugene, but due to Covid, they had to be postponed to [redacted]. Unfortunately, during the rescheduled flights, there was a change in one leg which caused a scheduling conflict, leading to the cancellation of my entire itinerary. I had to make new bookings with a different airline. For the American Airlines portion, they informed me that only a credit with the airline is possible instead of a refund. As for the Delta leg, I have been unable to cancel it as there are no responses when I try to reach Delta directly. I had purchased travel insurance to assist with situations like these.

I have been trying to reach Travelocity regarding my urgent travel issue, but after finally getting through to a representative, I was placed on hold for an extended period until the call timed out. I explained the situation that arose with my reservation #[redacted][redacted], tickets Nos [redacted][redacted] and [redacted][redacted] for the flights with WINAIR and Air Antilles (operated by WINAIR) that need to be changed due to an error by the airline. Winair is willing to make the necessary changes for a flight on May 31 (ANU to SXM) and SXM to PAP on May 1, [redacted], but they were unable to do so as Travelocity did not allow it. Contacting Travelocity by phone has been frustrating, and their online assistance has not been very helpful in resolving this issue.

I made a reservation through your website for the Monticello Inn, which turned out to be a frightening experience due to the presence of illegal activities. I was advised by my taxi driver that this location is dangerous, despite being labeled as an inn. I come from the suburbs of Philadelphia and had to urgently find alternate accommodation, which resulted in additional expenses. I am requesting that the charges related to this reservation be removed from my credit card. Considering the distress and safety concerns I faced, I believe compensation in the form of flights or hotel vouchers is appropriate. The incident occurred at the Monticello Inn located at 90 Worcester Road (Route 9) in Framingham, MA [redacted]. The dates of my reservation were May 17th to 19th under the name Lisa Lewis with the itinerary number [redacted][redacted]. I still require assistance with arranging my return flight to Philadelphia. The management of the inn mentioned a refund for the room, but I am seeking further compensation for the emotional distress, tears, panic, missed work, and financial losses incurred. I trust that this situation can be resolved with compensation offered for a future trip rather than legal action. Kind regards, Lisa M. Lewis.

Hello, My name is Mary DeLille. I made a car reservation on travelocity.com in Memphis, TN. My itinerary number was [redacted][redacted] and my Hertz confirmation number was J[redacted]2D5. Upon reaching the reserved location, I found it closed. I was directed to the airport location, but they couldn't find my rental details. I had to book another car urgently at a higher rate of $[redacted].51, totaling $[redacted].10 due to this inconvenience. Despite multiple attempts to seek a refund through online chat and calls to Travelocity, I have faced long wait times and disconnections. I insist on a refund of $85 for the original rental and reimbursement for the price difference between both rentals. Your prompt response is appreciated to resolve this issue promptly. Thank you, Mary DeLille

Hello, I made a hotel booking at OYO through Travelocity for February 6, [redacted], which I had to cancel due to a member falling ill on February 7, [redacted]. After reaching out to OYO for a refund of $56.61, I was directed to Travelocity. Following up with Travelocity on February 12, [redacted], they suggested I contact OYO instead. Despite contacting OYO, I received an email from Priyanka on February 24, [redacted], stating that Travelocity should be handling my refund. Both OYO and Travelocity seem to be passing the responsibility back and forth. I am quite frustrated with the situation and plan to share my dissatisfaction on both platforms regarding the handling of my refund. Thanks, Cindy G.

Subject: Request for Refund Due to Unforeseen Circumstances To whom it may concern, I recently engaged in a virtual chat with Customer Service and was notified that my reservation, Itinerary #[redacted][redacted], under the name Wayne Meade from Bakersfield, CA, does not qualify for a refund. I am now reaching out via email to outline our current unfortunate situation. My spouse, at 73 years of age, has been diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer and is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy. Due to her treatment schedule, her doctor has advised against any travel for the duration, which is expected to last a year. The impact of these unexpected health challenges has forced us into an early retirement, resulting in financial strain as our sole income is from Social Security. With looming medical bills, we are seeking assistance to recover the costs of our planned trip to the East Coast. We have been grateful for the understanding and support shown by other businesses with refunds during this difficult period. Given the financial hardships we are facing, I humbly request your reconsideration for a refund on the minivan reservation. Your empathy and support in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and understanding. Sincerely, Wayne Meade

I encountered an issue with my flight itinerary getting canceled without my prior knowledge. I initially booked this itinerary in early February [redacted] for flights scheduled for this upcoming July. Yesterday morning, due to an extended wait time of at least 4 hours as informed by the virtual assistant, I opted to leave my contact number with Travelocity for a callback. Unfortunately, the callback came more than 12 hours later, past midnight my time, and I was asleep, missing their call. This morning, when I tried contacting them again, the virtual assistant could not locate my itinerary. Upon checking my Travelocity account, I found that the itinerary, still visible yesterday, was now reflecting as canceled. Despite leaving my contact number for a callback yesterday morning, the callback came after midnight, which I missed due to being asleep. I did not request the cancellation of my itinerary and am seeking assistance on reinstating the original itinerary. Thank you. - Ut

I contacted Travelocity yesterday at 10 a.m. to modify a flight. Despite opting for a call back, I was informed of a 4-hour wait. Disappointingly, I never received a call back even after midnight. Trying again at 7 a.m., I requested another call back, only to receive an unresponsive computer-generated voicemail. Persistent, I stayed on hold from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., only to have the call dropped. The lack of available agents on the website is frustrating, leaving me unable to seek assistance.

I made a reservation through your service for a hotel room expecting a clean room, but I was mistaken. Upon arriving at the hotel on Friday evening, we encountered a man with a lot of belongings in the parking lot. When my husband went to check in, he asked to see the room first. The receptionist was kind and provided us with the key and directions. As we reached the building where our room was, we found limited parking only in a handicap spot. There were loud music and people outside with mini grills on the sidewalk. The room was not as advertised and in poor condition. Although the lady at the front desk was helpful, we chose not to stay after seeing the conditions. We also discovered that the man in the parking lot had been banned from the property. Considering this is an extended stay location, I find it hard to believe someone would stay there for $80 a night long-term. I am requesting a refund of my money.

I made a booking through Travelocity (Itinerary # [redacted][redacted]) assuming that I was getting the lowest fare as advertised. The price was $[redacted].13. A few days later, I found the same ticket on Delta's website for $[redacted].00. I am disappointed with Travelocity's pricing and would like a refund for the fare difference. I have tried to contact you for assistance but the long wait times for a call back have been inconvenient. I am dissatisfied with the service I have received and am hesitant to use Travelocity again in the future. Goodbye Travelocity. Thank you, M.G. Bischke

After having airline credit, we contacted Travelocity to use the credit for a flight from Peoria, IL to Charlotte, NC. We received an email confirming the transaction and used the credit card to pay for additional charges that exceeded the credit amount. Reviewing the credit card statement, we observed charges from American Airlines but realized there was no itinerary number provided. Checking on Travelocity's website, we couldn't find the flight listed and have been unable to reach them. Without the itinerary number, we are stuck. With departure looming in two days, we have reached out to American Airlines and are waiting for a callback. Fortunately, our car rental and hotel accommodations are secured, although we may need to cancel if the flight situation remains unresolved.

Hello, I stayed at a hotel in San Antonio and experienced overcharging. Despite calling three times and enduring multiple holds, the issue wasn't resolved. The reservation itinerary number is #[redacted][redacted]. Upon arrival, I was informed of increased charges due to the holiday, with $[redacted] charged on Saturday, May 29, instead of $[redacted] plus taxes, and $75 charged on Sunday instead of $56 plus taxes. The hotel lacked amenities like a microwave, clock radio, and had cigarette burns in the bedding. Trash was scattered outside and the staff was impolite. The room had a small TV, and it seemed a larger one was previously there. I'm seeking a refund of $89 for the overcharged days. Please reach out if more information is required. The charge was on my card ending in [redacted]. Thank you, Janice C.
