Two problems that need resolution regarding our recent car rental in Las Vegas: **. Cost discrepancy (overcharge) between amount stated on Travelocity document vs. actual payment amount required by Ace Car rental Co. in Las Vegas, Nevada for car rental from ***** to *******. The specific cost of our rental car stated on the Travelocity confirmation document (itinerary * *************) that was provided to us, did NOT match the larger amount charged at the Ace Car Rental company when we picked up the car. When I questioned this fact, the staff person said I would have to contact Travelocity to see if I could get a refund or credit from Travelocity, of the additional fees that Ace had us pay to them when we picked up the car. The Travelocity fee that we had agreed to pay was $***.**. However, Ace (Economy) Rental Car charged us $***.** and would not accept the documented Travelocity lower fee that had been agreed upon. **. Upon car rental pick-up, gas tank was only *** full, although we were told that it was full. We did not realize this until we had driven off the lot, and we had to proceed to an event to which we would have been late, if we drove back to the car rental lot to report the problem. When we returned that car with the full tank of gas, as we had been told was required, we discussed the problem of the gas tank being only *** full upon our pick up of the car--the service person said he was only there to receive the returned car, and he had no authority to address the gas amount problem. What can be done about this issue? Do we get credit for the amount of gas that was "missing" from the gas tank?
