I was recently issued a jaywalking violation by an MMDA enforcer near Metropoint Mall on Edsa. I was on my way to the terminal going to Cavite when I unknowingly jaywalked. I asked a dispatcher if the route was still correct on July 16, and he assured me it was. While passing the area, an MMDA officer stopped me and informed me of my violation. I honestly wasn't aware as many others were also crossing there. I apologized, but he still issued me a warning ticket. I feel it was unfair as he could have stopped me before crossing. It's been 7 days since I received the ticket, but due to flooding in my area, I cannot go to Makati to settle it. What steps should I take now?
