1. I've been struggling to use my phone since December. Even my tech-savvy neighbor couldn't help. I paid her to assist me in making and receiving calls and checking messages. However, after testing with my landline, it stopped working, and I'm lost when it comes to texting. 2. I checked to ensure my minutes rolled over, but I was shocked to see a charge for [redacted] extra minutes instead of my 60-minute plan. My contract ends tomorrow, March 16, and I must resolve this before then. 3. I can't seem to access the chat function, which would be more convenient for addressing my concerns rather than speaking on the phone. 4. My password issue remains unresolved. Initially, a 4-digit number was accepted, but now it requires a 6-character alphanumeric password. Despite my frustrations, I desperately need my cell phone. I hope to receive prompt customer service assistance and avoid further distress. Why can't I access the chat line? I may have to wait "at least 30 minutes" for a callback, if at all.

I've been a dedicated Tracfone user for over a decade, always recommending their services. During Hurricane Michael, Tracfone was a lifeline as all other cell towers were down. Now, facing an issue with my current phone being unusable, I'm in need of assistance to transfer my number to a new phone already set up with Tracfone. Despite trying online, the screen seems unresponsive after verifying I'm not a robot. How can I proceed with transferring my number without being able to make a call for help? Help is greatly appreciated.

After spending a total of 7 hours over March 15th and 16th trying to activate my new free cell phone because my old phone was not compatible with Tracfone's system, I gave up. Despite speaking with 5 tech agents and spending 3 hours online, I couldn't get it working. The experience with the tech support was disappointing; I even got cut off during 2 calls. The automated system claimed my activation was in progress twice but the instructions didn't help. Despite Tracfone stating they sent 3 code emails, I never received them. The one code email I did get was already expired when I opened it. Even after a tech allegedly sent a new code email, I never received it. Fed up, I switched to SENIOR CELL and had my new phone ordered within 7 minutes. I am now looking for a refund from Tracfone for the remaining [redacted].04 minutes.

Since January 31st, I have faced ongoing troubles with my phone plan. Despite purchasing a package valid until March 2nd, my service was abruptly disrupted on February 28th. Throughout that entire day, I attempted to find assistance to no avail. Eventually, on Tuesday, March 1st, I spoke with a representative who comprehended my situation and generously added extra minutes, texts, and data for usage on March 2nd. However, when I woke up on March 3rd, my phone was again disconnected. Despite purchasing an unlimited $40 plan with added perks for $35 off due to enrolling in auto-pay, my phone remained inactive. Even after repeated daily calls to TracFone since February 28th, my issue remains unresolved. The only progress was made on Wednesday, the 16th, when a representative promised to reinstate my plan from that day for 30 more days to compensate for the two weeks of inconvenience. Regrettably, upon following his instructions to restart my phone, the plan was not applied. I am frustrated and exhausted from the incessant calls and lack of solutions. Being on a fixed income due to disability, I find it unacceptable to waste $40 on inaccessible services. As a new TracFone customer, this experience has left me dissatisfied and desperate for a resolution.

My name is Larry F. and I reside on Highway 66 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. I recently ordered a new Tracfone, the Orbic Journey V, as a free upgrade to replace my outdated phone. The order was placed on Sunday, March 20. Unfortunately, during the call, my address was recorded incorrectly as Highway [redacted] instead of 66. Moreover, the tracking number provided for UPS is also incorrect. The phone is at the UPS station in Lincoln, but delivery is delayed due to the incorrect address. I urgently need the correct tracking number to contact UPS promptly before the phone is shipped back. This situation has been quite frustrating, and I truly need my phone as soon as possible.

Hello, I am hoping for assistance. I have used a Tracfone for a long time, but recently received a new one due to changes. I am now on Verizon after being disconnected from Tracfone, where I had over [redacted] minutes. I am being charged around $8.00, which is confusing as the phone was sent to me as a replacement. Tracfone has been a challenging company to deal with. I wish I could rate them a negative -10. The customer service is subpar with excessive hold times of 2 hours or more. The representatives struggle with English and lack proper training, often providing incorrect information. Since January [redacted], I have been trying to fix my daughter's phone, but Tracfone sent me three incorrect sim cards. The second one I paid to expedite but it arrived late. I am considering contacting my credit card company. Avoid Tracfone, which also owns Straight Talk, Net 10, Page Plus Cellular, and Simple Mobile. Verizon acquired Tracfone on 9/14/20, and they are all owned by billionaire Carlos Slim. Another night wasted on the phone with Tracfone on 3/28/22. They refuse to transfer data, text, and talk time from Sierra's non-working phone to my son's working phone. Sierra's phone has been dysfunctional since January, and despite numerous calls, the issue remains unresolved.

My daughter's cellphone has not been working since January. Despite contacting Tracfone multiple times and receiving three different SIM cards, the phone remains inoperable. My Tracfone service has ended because my 3G flip phone is no longer supported. I have purchased a new 4G LTE compatible Tracfone but am unable to transfer my old phone number to it. The number was provided by Tracfone over fifteen years ago when I first began using their service. Both phones are LG flip phones, and I last added service to my old phone on February 14, [redacted], with 96.46 minutes remaining until 09/08/[redacted]. Several weeks ago, my phone and purse were stolen from my vehicle. While I promptly deactivated the stolen phone, I neglected to contact Tracfone to deactivate the number. Today, when I called Tracfone to request the deactivation of the stolen phone's number and to inquire about switching to my old number on my new phone, my experience was frustrating. The online chat service was unavailable, so I waited on the phone for an hour before being disconnected. After another 36-minute wait, I finally spoke to an agent. Unfortunately, the agent had trouble understanding my request, and after requesting a supervisor, the call was disconnected. Despite several more attempts, I couldn't get through to resolve my issue. I am hoping for a callback from a knowledgeable agent or supervisor who speaks English fluently to assist with deactivating the old number and transferring it to my current phone without incurring additional costs.

I experienced an issue with my data abruptly stopping. Upon contacting tech support, I was reassured that my [redacted].46 GB of carryover data, which was vital to me, would be safe during the transition to Safe Link from Tracfone. I was promised unlimited talk, text, data, and Wi-Fi hotspot. However, after just one week, the service ceased, and upon checking my balance, it seemed like my request was not fulfilled entirely. Despite my carryover data initially being intact, it eventually vanished. When I reached out for support, I was informed that my number was somehow not registered in the system and was treated as if it was never associated with me. The resolution offered has significantly reduced the service I previously enjoyed. It feels as though my [redacted].46 GB of data was taken without consideration. The technician handling the final transaction appeared dismissive, which was upsetting as I had clearly expressed the importance of safeguarding my data savings.

I bought a Tracfone from a coworker and ordered a SIM card and a $20 plan which includes unlimited talk, text, and 1GB data. Upon trying to activate the service, I was told the SIM was no good and the second one was attached to someone else's account. After contacting customer service, I found out it was linked to the woman I purchased the phone from, although she doesn't have an account with Tracfone. I have the phone, IMEI number, SIM card, and plan PIN. When I asked for a fix, the CSR was rude and blamed me for the mix-up. I just want the 30 days of service I paid for before switching carriers. I had a delivery from Walmart on April 1st to my apartment. My wife and I, both disabled, rely on this service for our basic groceries like meats. Unfortunately, when the delivery arrived, we found we were missing our essential meats like pork chops, hamburger patties, chicken breast, and brisket. Instead, we received an excess of 12 tubs of butter. We are willing to return or donate the butter but would appreciate a refund to get the meats we need. I bought a phone from a coworker, a tracfone. I contacted tracfone to get a sim card and planned to purchase a service plan from my local Dollar General store. After buying the plan, I tried to activate it with the imei number provided, but was told my phone wasn't in the system and that the plan time was allocated to another account under the name of Ms. April. She confirmed she no longer had an account with tracfone. I have the phone, sim card, and plan but no service. I'm unsure why the money went to another account, and no one seems willing to address the issue. Looking through previous conversations, it's becoming clear why Ms. Amy stopped being a customer.

I would like to request the discontinuation of my service with Tracfone. For the past month and a half, my service has been unreliable, and now I am unable to make or receive calls at all. This is the third time this issue has occurred, despite my phone only being a few months old. Even when I am near a cell tower, my phone shows no service. Despite spending hours on five different calls trying to resolve the problem, nothing has improved. I have already paid for a month without proper service and do not wish to continue paying for unusable service. Dealing with this situation has been incredibly frustrating, and I am disappointed with the level of customer service provided. I will not be recommending Tracfone to anyone I know.
