I have been using a Toshiba Satellite C660-1P8 laptop for a few years now. Recently, it has been shutting down and restarting continuously. I initially replaced the hard drive, thinking it was faulty, but the problem persisted. After a second technician suggested servicing, I paid for that as well, but the issue remains. Despite formatting the hard drive multiple times, the laptop is still stuck in a restart loop. I am running out of options and funds to buy a new PC. I have gone to local technicians, spent money, and still have no solution. If you can provide any insights or suggestions on what the problem might be and how to fix it, I would greatly appreciate it.

I am struggling to program the remote for my dish receiver on my new Smart TV. The lack of information on how to use different features is making it challenging. I have attempted to program my dish remote to control the TV using various codes without success. Changing the picture size took me quite a while to figure out. I find it inconvenient that I have to navigate through settings every time I turn on the TV to start watching a channel. When trying to watch a movie, I encountered issues with the Wi-Fi connection that were frustrating. A more user-friendly setup guide would be greatly appreciated for those of us setting up the TV independently. Despite the good picture and sound quality, I am facing difficulties with the rest of the TV functions. Thank you for your assistance.

After the July [redacted] Microsoft Windows 10 update, I am experiencing issues with my Toshiba laptop starting up. Following the update, the laptop goes through the BIOS, restarts, displays "Preparing for Automatic Repair," and then navigates to the troubleshooting, advanced options, and maintenance menu extremely slowly. Within the advanced options, I have attempted various solutions such as Startup Repair, Command Prompt to access a partition, Uninstall updates without success. Changing settings in UEFI Firmware did not resolve the problem either. System Restore is inaccessible without a normal startup. System Image Recovery cannot detect the image files in the separate partition where my Windows 10 backup is stored. When considering a complete reinstallation using the media creation tool, there are four partitions displayed. I am unsure which partition Toshiba utilized to load Windows 10, specifically if it was Part 1 where the system is located.

I have been using your laptops for a few years without any issues. However, recently while downloading a game, my laptop suddenly shut off without any warning. There was no message indicating it was shutting down or restarting; the screen just went black. I have tried removing the battery, turning it on and off, and seeking assistance from others, but the problem persists.

Hello, I hope you're all having a great day. I own a satellite C650 laptop that is predominantly used at my home. I have come across programs related to 3D printing that require either OpenGL 4.1 or at least OpenGL 2 graphics. I have a few questions: 1) Is it possible to upgrade the graphics card on my laptop? If so, what would be a recommended option? 2) In case the graphics are integrated into the CPU, can I upgrade it? If yes, what would you suggest? 3) If the above options are not viable, is it possible to add an external graphics card to my laptop? If so, could you recommend any suitable options? Best regards.

Around two weeks ago, my microwave began shutting down randomly without any input from me. Initially, I checked the plug and ensured nothing was damaged, but the issue persisted. I noticed that opening the microwave door or touching the control panel would turn it back on, requiring just a clock reset. However, this problem has been occurring more frequently. This morning, when attempting to use it, I found the microwave completely shut down once again. Despite trying to press the buttons and open the door, there was no response.

Hello Toshiba Support, I have a Toshiba Portege Z30-E-12M laptop with serial number 1K176474H, and the top 2 rows of keys are not working. I am looking for a replacement UK English keyboard, but I can only find keyboards for other models like Z30-A, Z30-B, Z30T-Z, Z30T-B, Z30T-C. Can any of these be used as a replacement? I am also trying to figure out the difference between the Z30-E and other versions, but I cannot find any information on that. Thank you, Paul

Hello Toshiba support team, I am hoping you can help me with an issue regarding a Toshiba Portege Z30-E-12M. There seems to be an unresponsive top 2 rows of keys on the keyboard. Hello, this is Revathi. Today, I contacted Lotus customer service regarding exchanging the TV. After going to exchange the TV, the staff mentioned they would check and change it but later stated that Toshiba needs to handle the issue. I am feeling frustrated as I have made multiple trips to Lotus, especially considering our house is on the 4th floor, and carrying the TV up and down is not ideal. I need a prompt resolution as this is not our fault, and we paid over 1k, which is quite significant for us. As a customer, I am disappointed with the service provided. I am requesting a resolution by Wednesday or Thursday as there is no one at home during the working hours. I hope you can empathize with the customer's situation and kindly expedite the resolution through Toshiba's intervention. Thank you.

Subject: Urgent Assistance Needed with Toshiba Washing Machine I submitted a complaint on July 9th, [redacted], regarding my Toshiba washing machine model AW-A800MBO (Serial No. [redacted] TH) not functioning for the past two days. Following this, a service engineer visited my home on July 11th, [redacted], and identified that the Drain Motor requires replacement. I was billed Rial Omani 10 in advance for the service. However, after waiting for five months, the customer care team informed me that they are currently out of stock for the replacement motor. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue promptly.

I purchased a Toshiba TF-43A810U21 Smart Fire 4K TV back in October [redacted]. It worked perfectly until around June [redacted]. After an Amazon UI update, the screen started going black while the audio continued. I believe it's a software problem. I've reached out to Amazon support since July [redacted], but the issues persist. The TV now constantly shuts off, freezes, and displays black screens, making it unusable. When trying to turn it off, I often have to unplug it due to it being frozen. Despite initially contacting Toshiba, I was redirected to Amazon for help. It's been frustrating dealing with this for six months. Although the TV is now over a year old, the problem began when it was just 8 months old. I've hardly been able to use it for most of the time I've owned it.

I purchased a Toshiba washing machine model TOS-AW-J800AM on February 22, [redacted]. My name is Barath Manian, and you can reach me at [redacted]. On January 22, [redacted], I reported a technical issue with my washing machine displaying error code E-7-4 to HLK Bandar Puteri Branch. Despite lodging a complaint with Toshiba, no technicians have come to address the problem. HLK mentioned we are in the queue awaiting service. This delay is frustrating, especially as we are under warranty and should receive priority assistance. We urgently need this matter resolved promptly to avoid additional time, expenses, and inconveniences. Your swift action in addressing this issue is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My Toshiba Satellite laptop, after 5 years of use, recently developed loading issues and eventually stopped working entirely. I suspect the problem may have been caused by some bumps it experienced while traveling. Initially, the laptop would load, allow me to use it for a brief period of 5-10 minutes, and then restart on its own. This cycle continued until I removed the battery. Despite attempts to troubleshoot, the issue persisted, leading to the laptop becoming unusable. After seeking help from an authorized PC repair center, they were unable to determine the root cause of the problem even after cleaning the laptop and upgrading it to Windows 10. Their recommendation was to either purchase a new laptop or invest in costly part replacements. I am seeking advice on potential solutions to repair my laptop. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I recently purchased a used Toshiba Satellite L875d laptop. Although the laptop itself is nice, I'm encountering issues with the battery and hinges. I've attempted to recalibrate the battery, reset the original battery settings, and reseat the battery in the compartment. The battery indicator in Windows 10 Home shows a full charge at [redacted]%. I suspect the battery should be functioning correctly as I know the previous user. Additionally, one of the internal hinges on the left corner is broken, making it difficult to open and close the laptop without damaging the screen's plastic covering. The right hinge, however, is still working fine. Is there a specific method for reseating the battery, and is there a way to either repair or replace the faulty hinge?

I recently purchased a Toshiba dehumidifier model TDDP5013ES2 and encountered challenges while trying to set the timer. I aim to have the dehumidifier operate every 6 hours, totaling 4 times a day. As per customer service, the timer can only be set for one 24-hour cycle before needing to be reprogrammed. This seems inconvenient, especially for extended periods like vacations. My previous dehumidifier allowed for 4 or 6-hour intervals until manually turned off, which was more user-friendly. Additionally, I removed the back plastic cover assuming I would find the filter, but customer service indicated that the cover serves as the filter. Can you confirm this information and provide guidance on programming the continuous 6-hour on-off cycle setting for the timer? Your assistance is appreciated. Thank you. - S. M.

Good morning, About a year ago, I completely rebuilt a Toshiba 50lf711u20 Smart TV. I initially found this TV in the trash and invested several hundred dollars in replacing all the circuit boards, as well as the I.R. sensor. The repairs were successful, and the TV now functions. However, I am facing difficulty pairing this TV with any of the 4 replacement remotes I've bought. The TV is stuck on the blue setup screen, and I am unable to pair any remotes to complete the setup at this point. Despite watching numerous instructional videos and trying different button combinations, I have not been successful in pairing the remote. Even reaching out to Toshiba's support hotline has not provided a solution. Although some remote functions like power, volume, select, back, and directional buttons work, the rest do not respond. I have attempted multiple times to pair by holding the home button, but it never successfully pairs. After trying three different main boards to pair with the remote controls without luck, I am on the verge of disposing of the TV despite it being mostly repaired. I would appreciate any assistance or solution you can offer to solve this problem and allow me to use the TV as a monitor for my computer. Sincerely, Rick M.

I recently cleared my laptop and now I'm struggling with reinstalling all the drivers. My Toshiba Satellite C650 (PSC2EC-[redacted]) is not accepting Windows updates. Previously, all the drivers were there, including the Wi-Fi driver, but now I only have internet through an Ethernet connection. Although I considered getting rid of the laptop, I decided to give it another try. I have other laptops, so I'm not too concerned, but I wanted to get this one working again. With over 50 drivers available on the Dynabook website and multiple downloads for the same items, the process is confusing. I hope to resolve this issue soon. If not, I might consider disposing of the laptop, but I believe I can fix it by taking the time to install and test each driver.

I have previously used your vintage hi-fi amplifier called SB-A45 which I received from my uncle. I have enjoyed listening to crystal clear voices and music from it since childhood. Recently, I encountered issues with the PCB being damaged in several places, which I attempted to repair on my own. However, there seems to be a problem on the right side that is affecting its performance. I can provide more details with a schematic diagram if you're interested. I believe I need a new PCB, so if you have one available, please contact me via email. I can also send you some pictures of my system if needed. Thank you. L.K. Gunamuni

I lodged a complaint with Toshiba Lifestyle regarding my faulty Toshiba microwave. Despite taking good care of my appliances, the lady denied my replacement request, citing misuse, which I strongly disagree with. I believe the microwave was inherently flawed. I am seeking to escalate this matter above Aleiny S. at Toshiba Lifestyle as I am dissatisfied with their response. I am determined to pursue fair treatment from Toshiba as I feel let down and expected better quality from a reputable brand like theirs. I have experienced longer-lasting products from supposedly less reliable brands in the past. I will persist in my efforts until I am treated fairly. Your prompt response is appreciated. Thank you.
