Since the week of August 15, I have not been receiving my Toronto Star paper. After contacting the Star, they said my subscription was canceled, although I hadn't done so. It appears there was a mix-up with someone on Brimley Road who shares my name. I provided my correct email, which is [redacted], and my address at [redacted]/50 Stephanie St. Toronto ON M5T1B3. I renewed my subscription through a call center in India, and the paper began arriving again. However, I later received a call from the distributor who also confused me with the Brimley Road resident. Consequently, I did not get my paper on August 28 and 29. These recurring errors make me contemplate canceling my subscription. Despite this, I value printed news and hope these issues can be resolved so I can rely on receiving my paper each morning. Thank you, Rick Lazar

For many years, we've had a 7-day delivery service. Since moving to Bracebridge last year, our delivery has generally been fine, though our paper is sometimes soaked on rainy days despite being in a plastic bag. Yesterday, the paper was completely unreadable. On rainy days, could the paper be placed on the porch to prevent this issue? We have been patient, but having to dry out the paper with a hair dryer or over a vent to read it is becoming frustrating. We appreciate the early delivery but if the paper is consistently wet and unreadable, we may need to discontinue the service. Please reach out if you can address this matter. Thank you, Shirley MacLean.

I would appreciate assistance with determining the end date of my Toronto Star subscription gift from my friends nearly a year ago. Unsure of the precise start month, I believe it began around October [redacted]. I have taken pleasure in receiving the newspaper daily since then. I suspect the subscription is concluding this month, and I would like to continue with home delivery at my expense. The kind individuals who gifted me the subscription are Sheila and Art Turner of [redacted] Durant Avenue, East York, ON M4J 4W3. The delivery address for the past year has been Apartment [redacted], [redacted] Pape Avenue, Toronto, ON M4K 3Z4. If possible, could you confirm if the gift subscription is expiring this month? Thank you for your attention to this matter. Norma Carter

I have been a long-time home delivery customer, and unfortunately, the delivery service on my route has been consistently unsatisfactory. Nearly every week, I fail to receive my paper, and when I do, it's often found at the end of the driveway or in my neighbor's yard rather than at my door. This ongoing issue has led me to contemplate discontinuing my subscription. I understand I can call to report problems, but it becomes inconvenient to do so regularly. I believe the delivery person should be responsible for ensuring a proper delivery each time. Thank you for addressing this matter. Sincerely, F.H. [redacted] Douglas St, Oshawa

I have been charged $16.80 a month for probably 20 years without receiving a single newspaper. I canceled this subscription years ago (that would be why). I have not lived in the same house where the paper was to be delivered for some time, yet you have no problem charging me. It continues to show up on my account activity. This is not the only time I have inquired about this. Can this be resolved? I tried calling, but your up-to-date subscription inquiries do not even recognize my number because back then there was no such a thing. That gives you an idea of how long it's been. Please, for the third or fourth time, fix this!

Regarding the delivery of newspapers at The Renoir located at [redacted] Doak Lane in Newmarket, ON, we have encountered issues with residents not receiving their papers due to lack of labeling. The inaccurate list of subscribers has resulted in missing papers when the Concierge arrives in the morning. To improve the situation, there are three proposed options: 1) Label papers with the subscriber's suite number, 2) Deliver to the suite door of the subscriber, or 3) Provide 5-10 "free" papers to compensate for the missing ones. For further discussion on this matter and to address the dissatisfaction among our subscribers, please contact me at [redacted] or via email. Thank you.
