The issue in GetHuman-gbravene's own words
Received and email from TomTom that updates were available for my TomTom xl device. Followed instructions instruction on TomTom to update. When notified "Done" disconnected device from PC and turned on to check outcome. After cycling through a couple of informational screens I then received the message "No maps found". Followed instructions for "No maps found" and went through the update process again. Was given an option to reduce maps to southern US and Mexico but was informed device did not have enough memory to download maps. Why would TomTom notify me that updates were available when I am sure they knew my device did not have enough memory for the downloads?? To make matters worse, can not get live technical help to work me through the problem. They did offer a new unit for purchase as a replacement.
GetHuman-gbravene did not yet indicate what TomTom should do to make this right.
