About four years ago, my account got banned for making a fake profile. At the time, I was younger and less mature than I am now. I really regret my actions and am sincerely hoping for an opportunity to make it right. While I've tried other dating apps like Bumble, none compare to Tinder for me. I know I made a big mistake in the past, but I've grown and learned from it. I have reflected on my past behaviors and am committed to not repeating them. I am eager to get back into dating, and Tinder means a lot to me. I am determined to use the app responsibly and respectfully.

I have been a Tinder user for approximately two years. During this time, I have had positive experiences interacting with interesting individuals. However, recently, after resetting my account to explore new matches, I discovered that my account had been banned within a week. I am eager to regain access to my account to reconnect with new people. Understanding the reason behind the ban would also be greatly appreciated. After buying a Tinder Gold subscription on my Samsung Galaxy S10e through the Google Play Store, I intended to cancel it within the Tinder app under settings. However, I encountered a problem because I deleted my Tinder account without canceling the subscription first. Now, the subscription is renewing automatically, and I am unable to cancel it. Despite trying to create a new account and access the payment settings, I found that the menu for payments appears blank. I am seeking guidance on canceling this subscription.

I have been using Tinder for a couple of years. Recently, I reactivated my account and upgraded to Tinder Gold two days ago. Today, when I logged in, I was surprised to see that my account was banned for "violating guidelines". I am puzzled as to why my account was banned as I only had selfies and a simple bio with no nudity. Despite receiving spam accounts from fake profiles, I always followed the rules. I would appreciate some clarification on the reason for the ban and hope to have my account reinstated. I just upgraded to Tinder Gold and would like to continue using the service. I deleted my account to start fresh due to ongoing issues with lagging and malfunctions, especially within the messages section. Having traveled frequently in the past year, I accumulated many matches, which led me to believe a new account was necessary. The messages displayed out of order at times, or clicking one person's chat would redirect me to someone else's conversation with me. Recreating my account using the same phone number and information was a mistake, as Tinder has now restricted my access for about 3 months. I rarely reset my account; the only previous change was during a match refresh feature update. I am frustrated by this situation and seek assistance to prove I am a genuine user, not a bot, misusing the app. I hope to resolve this matter promptly to resume matching with others.

I recently met Dale Bowden, a 50-year-old woman, through a mutual friend six weeks ago. Initially, we hit it off, but I started feeling uncomfortable with her obsessive behavior. Despite this, things ended amicably when I decided to break it off. However, soon after, she began sending me offensive text messages and emails, resorting to name-calling and using vulgar language towards me. I tried to reason with her, but her inappropriate communication persisted, leading me to block her on social media. Even after I explained that I was seeing someone new and tried to move on, she continued to disrupt my life by contacting my 16-year-old special needs daughter, whom she had never met. She also somehow got me banned from Tinder, a move she later gloated about in a message. Hello. I bought Tinder Gold for 3 months at 22 euros per month on 11/07 from my Android device, paying with a debit Mastercard. The system charged me twice, and I have not received the service. I contacted Tinder at +[redacted]4, and they redirected me to contact +[redacted]5 as I'm registered in Greece. After reaching out to the second number, they advised me to contact Match UK at [redacted] or call (+44) [redacted] [redacted] 85 [redacted]. Match UK informed me via email that they are not affiliated with Tinder and directed me to Tinder's help center. Can someone please guide me on who to contact to resolve this issue? My account was hacked, and despite following the instructions provided, it was hacked again the next day. After spending several hours, I was able to regain control over my account. However, about a day later, I was banned for violating the Terms of Service. I reached out for help, and the response I received was: Hello Orien, Thank you for getting in touch. Hello, In July [redacted], I signed up for Tinder. I stayed on the app for about a week. Everything was going well. I met a man, and we went to museums, walked, and had dinner together. However, we decided to just remain friends. So, I started talking to another man. On the same day we started talking, he invited me to join him on WhatsApp. As I use WhatsApp to talk to my family, I used my real name, not a nickname. Additionally, I noticed his number was from Florida, while we are in Quebec, which made me anxious, so I deleted and blocked him. I assume he did the same, and the next day my account was terminated. My pictures on Tinder are modest, I use polite language, I am serious, looking for a long-term relationship, not a casual one. Can you please reactivate my account? Thank you, Thia.

Here is a summary of the email I sent to Tinder customer support today: "My son, Joel Ashton-Fogle, has been banned from Tinder. He seeks confirmation that his profile has been permanently deleted, as he does not wish to return to the platform. Given his autism, bipolar, and delusional disorders, the uncertainty around the ban is severely impacting his mental health. There are no inappropriate photos on his phone, and he claims his phone was hacked. He will be under monitored care soon, limiting his social media access. I urge sensitivity in handling this matter." In a follow-up email referencing case [redacted]2, I discovered Joel nearly fell victim to a scam promising to remove his name from Tinder. He has no intention of rejoining and I will ensure he cannot. His primary concern is the complete deletion of his old profile to avoid the 'blocked' notification, which is causing him distress and risking his health. I plead for swift action to erase his profile entirely. His desperation led him to consider paying scammers to regain access just to delete the account. Hello, I have been using your app for some time now, and although I have found it somewhat helpful, it often leaves me feeling discouraged. While I don't consider myself exceptionally attractive, I also don't think I am unattractive. I seem to have better luck connecting with women in person rather than through the app. I am unsure why this is the case. I try to engage with matches by reading their profiles and sending personalized messages, but more often than not, I receive no response. It seems that women receive countless matches, rarely initiate conversations, and seldom reply to initial messages. I primarily use the free version of the app, which may contribute to my experience. I have noticed that many people have swiped on me, but we did not match, possibly because I did not swipe on them. I appreciate the app's concept, but the constant rejections have taken a toll on my confidence. I will be deleting the app before a camping trip to avoid further disappointment. Unlimited swiping could potentially improve my experience, but without it, I am losing faith in the app's ability to help me find meaningful connections. Thank you.

I encountered an unpleasant experience after meeting a man from Tinder on July 31, [redacted].
