Hello Tinder Support, I recently returned to your app after a long hiatus during which I found a partner thanks to your platform. In order to update my account, I decided to delete it first. I encountered a glitch when trying to delete it, but after some delay, the feature eventually worked. To my surprise, upon deleting my account and logging back in, I was informed that it had been banned for a terms of service violation, which I adamantly deny. I thoroughly reviewed the terms and cannot find any reason for this action. I believe this ban was unjustified, as there were no issues related to any safety concerns or extreme circumstances. I am seeking assistance in resolving this matter promptly before exploring other options. Any guidance or support you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Warm regards, Michael

I encountered an issue on Tinder that I need assistance with. A person I connected with asked for a verification code, which I provided unknowingly. Subsequently, my account was compromised, and it transformed into a profile advertising inappropriate content. Despite my efforts to correct this, my profile keeps reverting to the malicious user's information. I attempted to contact Tinder support via email to report the situation to Sean, but my account was still tampered with and eventually banned. I am eager to restore my account and prevent this security breach from recurring. I value my longstanding use of Tinder and was considering upgrading to a premium account. I am hopeful that this matter can be swiftly resolved, and measures put in place to prevent future occurrences. I deeply appreciate your attention to this matter and eagerly await a resolution. Thank you for your time and prompt response. - Bill R.

My name is Ambur Momon. I have been using the Tinder app for over a year now. I have had positive experiences meeting great people and forming deep connections. Despite this, I have encountered safety issues and unfairness. I have faced sexual harassment, racial discrimination as an African American woman, and objectification. I often come across inappropriate profiles asking for sex, nudes, explicit images, and fake accounts. I report these incidents, but no action is taken. On two occasions, users I did not intend to match with found my personal social media and harassed me. I have also been objectified and received offensive comments from men. I recently made a comment in response to inappropriate behavior and was banned. I am requesting to have my account unbanned as I have not violated any policies. I value the Tinder app and want to continue using it despite these challenges.

I recently purchased Tinder Gold on my account and selected a 1-month subscription. Despite multiple attempts due to a payment error notification, each retry resulted in a charge. Instead of the intended $23.83, I was charged six times, totaling $[redacted].98 NZD. I am requesting a full refund for this error. The account is linked to an email ([redacted]) that is currently inaccessible and my mobile number is (64 2[redacted]). I hope this information helps identify the account. Unfortunately, I am unable to retrieve the order number due to the email access issue. I have attached a photo displaying the multiple charges on my bank statement as evidence. Please reply to the alternate email provided above as I am unable to check my Tinder email at this time.

I have encountered a situation with an individual from Tinder who has requested financial assistance via a Swiss bank account. Suspicious of the profile, I have gathered evidence including screenshots of our conversations, profile pictures, and the bank account details. I believe this may be a scam and seek guidance on how to proceed. Thank you for your assistance. - Heike F.

I signed up for a one-month subscription thinking it was a one-time payment. I didn't realize it would automatically renew without my consent. Since I was planning to delete the app after the initial month, ending on June 4, [redacted], I didn't want or authorize a second month's payment. I didn't approve Tinder to keep my payment information nor did it request permission to do so. I am requesting a refund as I only intended to use the service for one month, not two, and was unaware of the automatic renewal. I would appreciate your assistance in processing the refund. Thank you.

Hello, I decided to give Tinder a try to meet new people and possibly find love. However, when I tried to create an account, I encountered an issue stating that my phone number was banned. I have never used Tinder before and just recently got a new phone number. I can provide proof of this with my purchase receipts from 6/6/[redacted]. I also attempted to use my email, [redacted], and phone number on a computer, but the problem persisted. I'm looking forward to resolving this technical issue so I can start my journey on Tinder.

Hello Tinder team, I'm reaching out because my Tinder account has recently been banned. I had a 12-month Gold membership scheduled to expire on November 18, [redacted]. Following the guidance on your website, I canceled my subscription in the settings section. It was my understanding that I should still have access to my Gold membership until the expiration date, but when I attempt to log in, I'm being notified that my membership has been banned. I would appreciate it if you could provide clarification on this matter. Thank you.

Hi Support Team, I received the response to my request ([redacted]7) from Tinder. I'm still confused about the situation. I assure you I abide by the terms of service and community guidelines, and I genuinely don't understand why my account was reported or banned. I have not engaged in any prohibited behavior like sending inappropriate pictures or being a hacker. I've followed up with your team, asking for more specific information, but unfortunately, I have been informed that no further details can be provided at this time. I have checked the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines as suggested, but I still seek clarity on this matter. I believe someone might have reported me maliciously, resulting in the account ban. I request transparent communication regarding the issue so I can understand and address it. It's important to me to have a clear explanation as to why this action was taken against my account. I appreciate your assistance and hope to resolve this matter soon. Thank you, Enikő

I have always used the app appropriately. It's possible my account was reported due to frequently deleting and recreating it. I assure you that I never violated any terms of use. I genuinely liked using Tinder, and I hope to understand the reason for my ban and potentially have my account reinstated or create a new one. Meeting new people is important to me, and I truly appreciate the app. I want to clarify that any suspicious activity may have resulted from my account being compromised. I apologize for any inconvenience and sincerely hope to resolve this matter.

I have been using Tinder for five months, and I have always made sure my profile is accurate and follows all the community guidelines. Unfortunately, my account was reported by my jealous ex-boyfriend and his friends, resulting in a ban. I am extremely disappointed because I have always adhered to the rules. I am eager for my account to be reinstated, as I can provide any necessary verification to prove my legitimacy as a respectful Tinder user.

I am seeking assistance with my Tinder account. Last summer, my coworkers accessed my account without my knowledge and violated company policies, resulting in my account being banned. I enjoy using Tinder to connect with people in my area, especially since I recently moved and have found friends and meaningful relationships through the app. I was disheartened to find out there was no option to appeal a ban. I would appreciate the opportunity to regain access to my account, as bans do not have an expiration date. I can provide colleagues' testimonies to support my account of what occurred.

I recently experienced unauthorized access to my Tinder account, resulting in changes to my profile pictures and search preferences without my consent. This occurred twice in the past two weeks. On Thursday, the 11th, my account was inundated with messages after my profile was altered once again. Despite promptly addressing the issue by restoring my original pictures and preferences, the account was subsequently banned. After noticing similar discrepancies in other profiles, I suspect a hacking trend affecting multiple accounts. I kindly request a thorough review of the situation and the restoration of my account to its original state. Thank you.

Dear Sir, My account ID is [redacted], and it has been banned. I provided truthful information, mentioning my dissociative identity disorder (DID) and my desire to settle abroad in the UK/USA/Canada on Tinder. Tinder is my only means to communicate with individuals from Western countries as other apps do not accept payments from Bangladesh. Tinder is not a casual platform for me; I even paid Taka [redacted] for a year, a significant amount in my country. I request guidance on where I erred to make necessary corrections. Thank you. Yours sincerely, Saira Shafique (SAira SHAfique) Sasha I have never disrespected anyone during my interactions. Finding someone special on Tinder and seeking refuge from discrimination in my own country in Western countries is my only solace.

Hello. Around Tuesday, June 16th, [redacted], I noticed that my Tinder account was hacked. I received continuous notifications for several minutes and discovered over 30 matches with men (even though my settings were for women). These matches already had conversations ongoing. Upon checking my profile, I found four photos of a young woman (I originally had six photos of myself) and the bio was changed to "Hookups & chats only," which was not my original bio. By Wednesday night (6/17/20), I managed to revert my photos and update my bio. However, on Thursday, June 18th, I saw a message on the app stating my account was banned for violating terms of use. I did not engage in any inappropriate activities, just tried to restore my profile manually. How can I resolve this issue? Thank you. ~Kevin T.

Hello, I am 19 years old and my age was listed incorrectly as 18. During a conversation, I mistakenly typed that I was 17. Before I could correct it, I got banned from my account. I was discussing moving out of my house on July 1 when I turn 19. My mom allowed me to stay an extra year. I am a legal adult enrolled in college, born on July 1, [redacted]. This ban seems unfair as I rarely use this app, and the one time I engaged in a conversation, I hadn't even exchanged contact info yet. It's disheartening that I can't reconnect with that person. The immediate banning process seems excessive for a simple typo. It was an honest mistake. Why would I claim to be 17 when I'm older than the person I was chatting with? I request the removal of the ban on my account.

Hello, I assisted a friend who doesn't have a credit card in signing up for Tinder. I ensured no card details were saved, and he paid me for a one-month "red" subscription. Although I set it to end after one month, I noticed five pending charges on my bank account. The card ends in [redacted], and it belongs to Ian Mansfield. I kindly request that only the initial payment is processed and no further charges are made. Your prompt response via email regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Ian Mansfield

I'd like clarification on why my account was banned. Last Sunday, I unknowingly shared my number with someone on a different platform who then used it to access my Tinder account. Subsequently, my account was altered to appear female with new photos and a Snapchat add-on. I'm unsure if this breach caused the ban or if it was due to the content in my bio. I appreciate any information on this matter. Thank you.

I have been unable to edit my profile since the first day. I haven't used the service because I encountered issues while attempting to edit my profile after my initial purchase. I was mistakenly charged twice for a single service and am requesting a full refund for the duplicate charges. I am frustrated with the lack of technical support to address the root cause of the editing problem. Despite my background in IT for over 20 years, I have never encountered such an issue. The focus needs to be on technical support rather than customer service. The instructions sent previously were ineffective. The impact of Covid-19 added to the challenges, although I wasn't utilizing the service during this time. I want to emphasize my desire not to be automatically subscribed again. I am seeking a full refund of over $[redacted]. You can reach me at [redacted]. My experience with the service has left me extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the support provided.
