Hello, my name is Hannah, and I recently discovered that I have been banned from Tinder. I reached out to my girlfriend, who admitted to using my details to create a fake account to check on someone from another dating app, which I wasn't aware of. I fear this action may have led to my profile being banned. I have always had positive experiences on Tinder but haven't been actively using it recently. I am ready to start dating again, and Tinder was my preferred platform. I am genuinely upset about this situation and would like to rectify it if possible. I am seeking clarity on what happened and hope that you can assist me. My girlfriend is willing to contact support if necessary. I believe I shouldn't be penalized for her actions, and it's distressing to have my profile in question due to this incident. I appreciate any help or insight you can provide. Thank you.

Last night, I unfortunately fell victim to a scam where someone tricked me into giving them access to my Tinder account. They claimed codes needed to be sent to my phone, and I didn't realize they were actually taking over my account. I am Joshua Hornbeck, with the phone number [redacted] linked to the account. The person switched the account to theirs, and I promptly deleted it out of concern. My email associated with the account is [redacted] I'm worried because my Snapchat and Instagram were listed on the account, and I'm afraid the scammer might send inappropriate messages to my matches. I really need assistance to reclaim my account.

I was surprised to notice a charge on my bank statement from using the Tinder app. I logged in almost a year ago but encountered poor service with few matches and app crashes, leading me to stop using it. I believe it's unfair to still be charged while unable to use the app or unsubscribe. Since the renewal transaction is still pending, I kindly request cancellation of my subscription and a refund. I hope we can agree on this resolution. I also wish to cancel any future subscriptions, close my account, and have my personal data removed from your servers. Thank you, Mr D.

On Saturday, May 4, [redacted], I was using my paid Tinder Plus account until I left my house at around 8:30 pm without any issues. Upon returning home on Sunday, I discovered that my account had been banned for allegedly violating Tinder's terms. I am unsure why this happened and suspect it may be related to my ex-girlfriend Kyara Chalmers being on Tinder as well. I believe she may have reported me unfairly. Unfortunately, I have been dealing with a serious injury since Sunday morning, limiting my activities, and all I want is to recover and have access to my Facebook and Tinder accounts. Knowing the reason for the ban would bring some clarity to this confusing situation. I appeal to Tinder to reconsider this ban as I value my account and am a genuine user. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Kyle Chetcuti

I was considering Tinder Gold prices and accidentally purchased the yearly subscription when my phone froze. I was trying to close the app due to the high price, but it processed the payment because my fingerprint is linked to transaction approval. Unfortunately, this has left me with no funds in my account. I am hoping for assistance in resolving this issue.

Hello! I need assistance in recovering my first account as I connected with a person through it. We chatted on Viber, but I hastily deleted my account afterwards. I am concerned that he may not have received my number promptly due to the swift deletion of my account. Upon realizing that deleting my account removes all the messages, including those with my match, I felt the urgency to reconnect with him. Despite creating a new account to locate him, he has not resurfaced within the specified age and location parameters. I am desperate to retrieve my original account to brief him again. Any help to recover it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently deleted my account and now when I try to log in again using my phone number, I am encountering an error message. About a week ago, the message read “Something went wrong. You are unable to log in.” After deleting the app and attempting to log in today, the new message states, “Something went wrong. You are not able to log in (Error: [redacted]).” There are speculations online that this error is due to being blocked, but my account was functioning normally until I deleted it. While I may have been reported in the past, I am unsure of the reasons. I have always abided by Tinder's policies and have never mistreated anyone on the platform. Is there a way to retrieve my account?

I updated my phone number but am having trouble updating it on the app. Despite following the steps provided, when I log in, it redirects me to create a new account instead of recovering my previous one. I've tried using different email addresses like [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] but haven't received the recovery link. My old number was [redacted], and my new one is [redacted]. Please assist. Email me at [redacted] Thank you.

I was banned from Tinder almost a year ago. I found it frustrating to communicate with Tinder's customer service as their responses seemed automated and failed to address my concerns about the Terms of Use violation that led to my ban. Despite no negative interactions with my matches, my profile was banned shortly after posting a photo with marijuana. Although marijuana is legal in my area, the Terms of Use did not explicitly mention it. I've been polite, friendly, and honest in all my interactions on the app. Lacking an explanation or chance to appeal, I assume the weed photo was the reason for my ban. After re-reading the ToU, I still don't see how I violated it. Now, almost a year later, I'm trying to regain access to my account. Will I likely be unbanned after this time?

I am inquiring about the ban on my account on Tinder. Trying to return to the app after being banned without reason a few months back, I expected the ban to be lifted or expired. I am unaware of breaking any rules and have noticed a troubling trend of unfair bans affecting many users. If you could provide details on the reason for my ban and justify it, I am prepared to cease using the app permanently. However, if the ban was unjust, I kindly ask for it to be lifted so I can resume using the service. The indefinite nature of the ban without clear explanations seems unjust. Your assistance in resolving this matter is appreciated. Thank you, Kieran.

Yesterday morning, I attempted to access my Tinder account to view my new matches and a Super-Like, only to discover I had been logged out. Upon trying to log back in, I was informed that my account had been banned. This situation is perplexing to me, as I believe I haven't violated any of Tinder's rules. The only issue I can recall is a user accusing me of being "fake" after I declined to send them nude photos. I don't have multiple accounts, a criminal record, or any offline infractions. This ban has left me feeling confused and a bit disheartened, especially as I am unsure how to appeal to Tinder. I value the connections I have made on the app and would hate for others to think I am being dismissive. I am reaching out for guidance on potentially having my account reinstated. Thank you for your assistance and understanding. Have a pleasant day.

Dear Tinder Support, I recently attempted to activate my Tinder account using my phone number and was surprised to find out that my account had been banned. I had a previous Tinder account before phone verification was required, which I deleted when I entered into a relationship. Now that I am considering using Tinder again, I am puzzled by the ban as I used the app for only a brief period and had minimal interactions. My email is [redacted] and my name is Sachit M. I am uncertain how my phone number could have been linked to a banned account since I did not share any verification codes. Can you confirm if the banned account is indeed linked to my phone number? If so, I would appreciate understanding the reason for the ban since I do not recall using the app in a way that would violate any terms. If there is no record of an account associated with my number, I am perplexed by the ban notification. Thank you for your assistance in clarifying this matter.

This is my second email about this issue since I didn't receive a reply to the first one. I made my account in Thailand with my Thai number, but when I returned to Germany and switched back to my German number, I didn't realize I needed to update my phone number on Tinder. When I tried to log in later, using my Thai number, it didn't work. I attempted the account recovery steps via email, but I'm unsure if I had provided my email before. Despite trying, I never received any email with a code. Can you assist me in updating my account with my Thai number and email to my German number, restoring my account so I can reconnect with my matches? I hope to resolve this without creating a new account. Thank you.

I recently faced some issues with my Tinder account. I had initially created it using a free number and had not verified my email. After being signed out unexpectedly, I was unable to access my account with the free number. Despite creating a new account and verifying a new email, I encountered a problem when trying to activate my Gold service as the system recognized I already had an account. I am inquiring if there is a way to retrieve my old account by verifying my email to avoid losing it again, or if it is possible to transfer my Gold membership to my new Tinder account. Thank you.

I logged into the Tinder app on my phone about 30 minutes ago and unexpectedly found myself logged out. An attempt to log back in revealed my account has been banned. I am perplexed by this situation as I meticulously read and adhered to all guidelines and terms and conditions. Recently, I went on a date with an individual I met on Tinder, which ended abruptly due to my discomfort. I suspect this person may have reported me out of spite as a result of this. Nevertheless, I firmly believe my actions did not warrant a ban. Your assistance in resolving this matter and potentially lifting the ban would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently discovered that my app account was banned two days ago. I believe there may have been a mistake because I haven't engaged in any harassment or rudeness unless provoked. I have not uploaded any inappropriate or sexually explicit photos. I feel let down by the system, especially since I just paid for a gold subscription a day before. If the ban cannot be lifted, I would like to at least know the reason for it or be considered for a refund. The profile is used by both me and my girlfriend, so the images are not unauthorized. The only rule I might have broken knowingly is steering a conversation toward sex and exchanging contact information outside the app, which I do to comply with the terms of use. I would greatly appreciate having the ban lifted or receiving an explanation to avoid similar issues in the future should I create a new account. Thank you for your assistance.

I have encountered issues while attempting to subscribe to Tinder Gold over the past few days. The error message keeps appearing, suggesting an issue on either your end or with the website. My bank confirmed the authorization of the purchase, but it seems Tinder is not processing it correctly. Despite explaining this to a customer service representative via email, I received no further assistance after my initial query. I have attempted various solutions like switching cards, logging out and back in, deleting and reinstalling the app, and even trying to pay through the website directly. Unfortunately, none of these actions have resolved the problem. It would be greatly appreciated if you could assist me with this matter.

I recently discovered that my Tinder profile has been banned for unknown reasons after I renewed my subscription. I am unable to see the messages sent to me. The team sent me a standard message stating I violated the app's rules without specifying the exact reason. I agreed not to repeat any misconduct, even though I am unsure what it was. Despite this, my profile remains inactive. Given that I paid for the service, I believe I am entitled to a clear explanation of the alleged violation. If the team accepted my assurance, they should reactivate my profile promptly.

I created a Tinder account using a different SIM card, but the contract for that number has ended. I am now unable to access my account as Tinder sends a code confirmation via text, which I can't receive due to the expired contract. I have Tinder Gold, purchased less than a month ago, and I'm unable to use it. When trying to buy Tinder Gold with my new number, it states it's linked to an existing account. I need assistance in either deleting my old account to access Tinder Gold on the new one or recovering my previous account. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a nice day.

After restarting my Tinder account multiple times, I faced issues with matches disappearing, delayed email responses, and being unable to use the paid Tinder Gold subscription. The lack of customer service support is disappointing. I encountered a red bar notification when trying to match with someone who already liked me, and despite swiping right on many profiles after resetting my account, I still didn't get any matches. It's frustrating to experience problems with the service after financially committing to it.
