Hi good morning,*My name is Hailey. I go to university in California and have ben using Tinder for over a year. I have had success using this app, and established relationships after meeting people I've connected with (met my boyfriend of * year). **However, after probably * weeks of inactivity I went to go back on to the app yesterday. I was able to get into my account just fine. I didn't swipe or anything yesterday, I just looked at my messages, changed one line in my bio, and sent two messages: one said "I know some Jeep Trails," and one was a joke to a girl who wanted me to venmo her "if I was feeling generous." Haha! I didnt not ask for money (if that violates the community guidelines) or anything, and it was clearly a joke to both of us.**Then, this morning I clicked on the app again and I was logged out. I thought that was odd but I attempted to log back in. Upon doing this, I received the message that my account has been banned for violating the community guidelines. I am very confused over this because I have not acted inappropriately or in a way that would warrant this? I have never solicited myself, asked for money, been rude to or harassed anyone, so I really don't know what it is that got my account banned.**Is this a malfunction of the app, or was I actually banned from Tinder? If I was banned I would like to know why because I truly don't see what I could have done, especially considering I haven't used the app in nearly a month, besides last night. I don't think this is fair and I have honestly had the worst week ever due to a family tragedy and overloaded work and school schedule, this is just the icing on the cake.**Could you please help me? I've seen online that other people have claimed to be banned under similar circumstances, but I don't know for sure that they didn't do anything "wrong." But I do know for sure that I didn't do anything to illicit this action from Tinder. **I am requesting the reason I have been banned. I no longer use the email associated with my account so emails sent there will not be read, I dont' know if you send out emails to accounts that have been banned or not with the reason they were abnned. **My name on the account is Hailey Koetz and it is connected to the phone number *** *** *****The email for my account is *****@***.com but again, if you respond to that email I will not receive it :( (sorry for inconvenience). Additionally, my Instagram was connected to my Tinder profile and it is: pyrrhicsyllogism **If you look through my accounts you will find no evidence of behavior that would get me banned and this honestly really *****, considering I made plans with someone I can only contact through Tinder. **Please let me know what you can do and have a great day.
