Dear Tinder Team, I previously used the Tinder app but later deleted it without deactivating my account. Recently, I reinstalled the app to revisit a conversation with a match and then promptly deleted it again. However, I woke up to find multiple strangers had added me on Snapchat, which I suspect is due to my Tinder profile being visible once more. I realize my Snapchat username was linked to my Tinder profile, and I am concerned about my privacy. Unfortunately, I am unable to log back into Tinder as I keep receiving an error message. Could you please assist me in deleting my account to ensure my Snapchat username is not exposed? Thank you.

I have three Tinder accounts. One is linked to Facebook, the second to my Mumbai phone number, and the third to my Delhi phone number. I mainly use the third account with the Delhi number. Recently, after updating the app, I unintentionally logged out of my Delhi Tinder account. When I tried to log back in, it kept showing my Facebook-linked account instead. I want to regain access to my old Delhi Tinder account because it has my preferred matches. Your assistance in restoring my account with all the matches would be greatly appreciated.

I recently joined Tinder, unfamiliar with its operation. Lacking a photo of myself required to proceed, I uploaded a celebrity image just to explore the app. I refrained from messaging users or completing my profile to indicate it was not genuine. The following day, after adding a suitable photo, I discovered I was unable to access my account, indicating a ban. I unknowingly violated a rule due to my inexperience with the platform. Would it be possible to lift the ban on my account so I can continue using Tinder appropriately?

I encountered an issue with my Tinder account when I tried to sign in from my laptop after changing my phone number. Despite attempting to reset my password via email, I was unsuccessful. As a result, I created a new account under the same email address. However, when I deleted this new profile, my original account associated with the gold subscription was also deleted. Presently, my profile is active in Maine, but I am unable to access it. I am seeking assistance in restoring my initial account and updating my new phone number ([redacted]). Subscription initiation date: September 25, [redacted] iTunes: MLST9836WN Email: [redacted]

After reinstalling Tinder, I encountered an error code indicating I was banned. I reached out to Carl from customer service, who informed me of the ban, leaving me surprised. Despite reviewing the terms and guidelines, I cannot recall breaching any rules. Politely requesting clarification from Carl resulted in vague responses. After multiple follow-up emails asking for specifics on the ban, he reiterated my ban without providing a reason. I am still unaware of the violation and seek to escalate this matter to another support representative. Carl seems unresponsive to my repeated inquiries about the grounds for the ban. I wish to resolve this issue promptly. Thank you.

I am experiencing constant issues with my app. Messages fail to send, profiles don't load within my set radius, top pictures won't load, favorites disappear randomly, and super likes do not renew every 24 hours. I reached out to Tinder customer service and spoke with Samantha, but my problems remain unresolved after multiple emails and providing screenshots. My request for a refund went unacknowledged. Despite filling out a customer survey, I received no response. My Tinder experience has been disappointing and frustrating. I now seek a refund to switch to a different dating platform.

Hello. This morning, I received a direct message on Instagram from a stranger who informed me that someone is impersonating me on Tinder using my photos from Instagram, including pictures of me and my boyfriend. I'm Kristin B. from California, and the fake account is under the name Kimmi claiming to be a Financial Analysts Intern from Washington, which is not true. Since I do not have a Tinder account, I'm unable to report it. I urgently need assistance in getting this false profile removed to prevent further misuse of my identity. I'm concerned my pictures might be used elsewhere on the app too. Please contact me via email for any information or guidance on resolving this issue promptly. Thank you.

I was recently banned from Tinder on 08/20/[redacted] and I have not been informed of the reason. The support team only asked for a code and then stated that I violated the terms and conditions without specifying the violation. I had been a loyal paying member with [redacted]+ matches and active conversations. The lack of transparency and vague responses from Tinder are frustrating as I seek to understand what led to the ban. I have invested significant money into this platform over two years and would like a detailed explanation for the ban, along with the opportunity to regain access to my account.

I need to correct the age on my profile, and it seems the only solution is to cancel my membership and start a new one. However, I have already paid for a year. Can I get a refund for the remaining unused time if I cancel, or can I keep my current paid membership with a new profile? Alternatively, is it possible for TINDER to update my current profile's age to 56? My username is Dave, email is creativepaddler@[redacted].

I have been unable to log in to my Tinder account for a few weeks now. Every time I try to log in using my phone number and verification code, I receive an error message indicating that I have been blocked. This came as a surprise to me as I did not receive any warning or notification about any violation of the terms. I believe it would be more appropriate for Tinder to notify users of any issues before outright blocking them. I was enjoying using the app for free and was even considering purchasing a subscription due to its usefulness in networking and meeting new people. It's disappointing that they would lose a happy user willing to support the service over what seems to be a misunderstanding. Tinder should improve their reporting system to avoid inconveniencing genuine users like myself. If needed, they can reach me through the contact information they have on file. Thank you, Nader Moavenian. [redacted].

I am experiencing technical difficulties on Tinder using iOS on my iPhone 7. I have already contacted [redacted] for assistance. When I try to edit my profile description by pasting new text, the app freezes every time. Additionally, my pictures appear vertically squashed, and my preferred age range defaults to 55+ despite me setting it to 40 in the settings. I have attempted common troubleshooting steps like closing and reopening the app, logging out and back in, and restarting my phone, with no success. This issue is frustrating, especially after dealing with problems on Bumble. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Michael

Hello, I'm experiencing some issues while using Tinder on my iOS iPhone 7. When I attempt to edit my profile by copying and pasting text, the app freezes consistently after deleting the previous text. Additionally, when I tried to edit my profile pictures, they appeared vertically squashed twice. Another problem I encountered is that my preferred age range keeps resetting to fifty-five plus even after I change it to forty in settings. I've tried restarting the app, logging out and back in, and restarting my phone, but the issues persist. Moreover, when trying to view a Tinder profile connected to Instagram, I cannot access the Instagram account as the link redirects me to log in repeatedly. Despite my Instagram already being linked to Tinder, the redirection loop occurs, leading me to my own Instagram profile. I would appreciate it if Tinder could address and resolve these recurring issues. Thank you, Michael

Hello, Today, when I tried to access my Tinder account to respond to a message, I was prompted to log in again. This recurring issue of being logged out is frustrating. This time, however, my attempt to log in failed, showing an error code. After researching the error message online, it appears that my account may have been deleted, which angers me as I have always followed the guidelines and never posted anything inappropriate. This is particularly upsetting because I had a date planned for tonight, and now I am unable to contact the person due to my account status. I would appreciate a prompt response to address this situation. Thank you, -Emily

I keep seeing the same profiles repeatedly. I couldn't restore my purchases on two occasions. My account got downgraded without explanation. Despite using boost multiple times, I haven't received any matches or likes. It seems like I'm only being shown to people who are less attractive. My photos can't be worse than the low-ranked profiles I'm limited to. Although I purchased Tinder Gold, my account seems to be penalized. I'm tired of constantly encountering soliciting profiles. I feel singled out after complaining about the app and encountering unpleasant behavior. It's frustrating that my ranking has dropped, especially when most women find me attractive but I can't seem to interact with even average matches.

Hello, I recently created a Tinder account. However, shortly after, I experienced being locked out and receiving error messages. After researching online, I learned this might be due to inappropriate messages or reports. I discovered that my ex-partner is also on the platform, viewed my profile, and possibly reported me after not receiving a response. As an IDVA (Independent Domestic Violence Advisor) in Merthyr Tydfil, I can provide verification that I would not act inappropriately. I believe this situation may have led to my account suspension, unfairly assuming guilt without allowing me to prove my innocence. It would be helpful if Tinder could reevaluate their process to prevent similar unjust scenarios in the future. I believe others may share similar concerns.

I am reaching out because my Tinder account has been banned. I am unsure of the reason as I have always maintained polite and positive interactions with other users. My conversations are generally light-hearted and I have never engaged in hostile or offensive behavior. I used to be a Gold member on Tinder, which indicates my frequent use of the service. I believe being banned was a mistake, and I am eager to have my account reinstated. I am committed to following Tinder’s guidelines diligently to prevent any future issues. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter so I can return to using the app. Thank you.

I am disappointed with the recent email I received stating that my account is slated for deletion after being inactive for over two years. My fiancé, who also accessed the email, was alarmed by this unexpected notification. I had believed I already deleted the account previously. The timing of this notice caused unnecessary stress last night, and I am frustrated that after such a long period of inactivity, the email was sent. I request an apology for the confusion caused between my fiancé and myself and would appreciate an email confirming my lack of activity on the account.

Hello, I've noticed a strange issue with my Tinder matches. Some of my older matches can't see my profile in their matches anymore, even though I can still see and message them. This all started when the order of my matches changed, and one match even mentioned she couldn't see my profile or messages but didn't realize I hadn't unmatched her. This seems to only be affecting matches from before today. New matches are working fine, but I'm concerned about losing contact with these important matches. Could you please investigate this matter? My Tinder email is [redacted]

Hello, I have been using my Tinder account for several years and previously had Tinder Plus with many boosts, resulting in 1[redacted] matches. This account was linked to my Facebook. Recently, I created a new Tinder account using only my mobile number, which only received 20-30 matches. Now, whenever I try to log in, I am prompted to connect my phone number and Facebook, but I can only access the new account with fewer matches. It seems like my original account with numerous matches has become disconnected and I am unable to access it via Facebook or my phone number. Can you please assist me in resolving this issue or determine if the original account has been deleted? Thank you for your help. Best regards, J.Y.

Since Wednesday, I have noticed a problem with the "Tap to chat with... New match" feature on Tinder. Even though I have Tinder Gold and can see who likes me, when I like someone from my list, it doesn't show as a new match and they don't appear on my match list. I've found that I can only match with someone if I super like them. I prefer only liking people and having them show up on my match list like it was before Wednesday. I've tried various solutions like restarting my iPhone, reinstalling the app, and even logging in on my MacBook, but the issue persists. If this isn't resolved soon, I might have to delete the app. I've been a user for a year, and this problem that has been occurring for days is frustrating. I hope you can assist me with this issue. Thank you.
