I signed up for Thumbtack yesterday. I had checked options, one of which was I’m remote. People from other states started contacting me. It’s quite obvious that I can’t conduct surveillance in another state thousands of miles away from me but Thumbtack decided to charge me anyway. That IS NOT the way to treat customers. I tried to resolve this this morning but the customer service rep refused to credit my account. That is not a good starting point and if that’s the way Thumbtack is going to treat their customers then I don’t need to work with you. I’ve read the reviews and Thumbtack has already upset other customers. Is that the way you’re going to treat me? I had no idea I would get responses from people out of state and that’s just wrong for you to charge me.
