Hello,*I get cheesecake every Friday at your Montgomery Mall location in Bethesda, MD.*Tonight my wife, Kerri, called ahead to confirm that the $** cheesecake would be there for us.*I drove from the heart of Bethesda to the Factory and was told that someone had done a miscount. I asked if they would simply sell me the one size up cake and waive the approximate $** difference. *The manager, Amos, was called up front and did not wish to waive the $**. He wanted, instead, for me to call my wife to see if she could remember the name of who she spoke with. When I asked him what good that would do, Amos told me that he would send the person into D.C. to get my cake. That would be more than * hours round trip. *When I replied that I didn’t actually believe he would send an employee on a two hour drive for my cake, Amos said “I’m not going to argue with you”. I was really taken aback because this was a pretty light hearted conversation about a cheesecake. I said to Amos “I’m not arguing with you, I’m having a conversation” at which point he repeated “I’m not going to argue with you”, turned his back on me and walked away.*This all transpired at *:**, in front of the cake display. If my wife hadn’t have called ahead, and I hadn’t have driven so far, there would have been a part of me that laughed at the absurdity of what happened. Instead, I felt disregarded and insulted.*Anton Major****.***.****
