I've been trying to return order *********** since Wednesday, December *. First your phone system either kicked me out or routed me to the wrong dept. One of the wrong ones was the Digital Dept that does the flyers, etc., and they couldn't get through to anyone either. But gave me instructions that worked to get a real person in the Philippines Call center where I eventually got kicked upstairs to "Erika".**It took a long time for her to figure out what to do, but finally she came back on the line saying she couldn’t arrange a scheduled pickup with Purolator because they were closed. I thought that was odd because for arranging pickups and deliveries, they never close. Erika assured me it would be arranged on Thursday and I would get an email same day (Dec *) re pickup arrangement for Tuesday*Wednesday **-**th of December (because those are days that I know I can stay home for at least one of them so long as I know which one it’s going to be!) I have received nothing.**I called again today about *:** and I’ve been doing a lot of holding – but at least the phone system is working. This time’ Vincent’ was gone for ages, and finally came back with the same Purolator scam and I asked for a supervisor again. It’s now *:** and I’m still holding for a supervisor - CORRECTION –THEY JUST DISCONNECTED ME WHILE HOLDING AGAIN – *:** PM AND NOW I’M REALLY TICKED!**So I clicked on the "email us" link in my order confirmation from you, and it gave me "Access Denied". So now I'm trying to reach someone via gethuman.com.**Can you please give me a CANADIAN PHONE NUMBER OR EMAIL ADDRESS that works – because the “contact us” doesn’t – try the link and see! The Philippines call center doesn’t work either. Or if you can get someone to actually follow through and arrange the scheduled pickup and let me know which day it will be, that would be lovely. I need these picked up on Dec **th or **th just let me know which day. These must be gone before hubby is back from hospital on Thursday because the walker he has to use until he recovers won’t fit with these big boxes in this tiny senior’s condo!**I also need to know how to get the wide base off the bottom of the pedestal and how to separate the top part of the pedestal (that gets screwed into the seat) removed from the top of the pedestal – because it won’t fit into the box unless it comes apart! There is no button, lever, etc. to push to release, and brute force with my neighbors’ help didn’t work either. I suspect the fine Chinese workmanship means that it won’t come apart. I guess there had to be a catch since it was so incredibly easy with good instructions to assemble. The big fat base is twice as wide as the box and it’s attached to the entire pedestal assembly so the whole thing is going to be too long for the box – remember I still have to fit the seat part in there too. Can you get me a phone number or email for the department that might know about the “Distinctly Home” which is exclusive to HBC or can someone get Purolator to supply a huge box to repackage the one I opened and assembled?* *Thank you for your assistance with this matter.**Diane Malott
