I had the paper delivered during the winter months but requested a stop to the delivery when I left for Wisconsin on May 6th. Despite contacting to halt delivery again in June, the paper kept coming and piled up on my driveway often until my neighbors helped by collecting them. I made another attempt on June 27th to stop the delivery, but the papers continued even when I was back in town from the 20th to the 28th. The delivery address is David Prechel at [redacted] Balboa Drive in Maricopa. This is my third attempt to stop the delivery, and I am concerned about being charged for the months when I made the stop request. I am looking for assurance that the delivery will cease and would appreciate a call back at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] Kindly stop the delivery as soon as possible. Thank you.

This is the third time I have encountered this issue with the Sunday Newspaper. I have noticed that I am either not receiving the CVS and Walgreen advertisements in my paper, or they are being substituted with older flyers dated back to July, which is unacceptable. How could a July advertisement be included in the August 19 newspaper? I suspect the carrier might be removing them for personal use and replacing them with outdated editions. I would like to identify my carrier and understand the steps the Arizona Republic will take to address this problem promptly. It is concerning that the carrier may be dishonest and needs to be held accountable. This situation may be affecting many seniors in Sun Lakes. The missing detergent coupons from Walgreen's or CVS pharmacy are particularly noticeable. If this issue is not resolved, I will have to involve the local authorities to address this matter.

As a current online subscriber to AZCentral and the Arizona Republic, I am currently vacationing in France and facing limitations accessing the full AZCentral website content due to it not being available in Europe. The European edition provides a selection of articles but excludes opinion pieces, many sports stories, reader comments, and the daily E-edition. I am inquiring how I can gain full access to the content I am subscribed to while abroad. This issue also extends to USAToday's website, and although I do not subscribe to USAToday.com, I suspect it might be part of a Gannett company-wide policy affecting access from Europe.

I am wondering why the cost of the newspaper has increased despite receiving fewer pages. I am not a fan of the newer editions and I am disappointed that Benson has been removed. The new version is not to my liking, especially with the increase in price and decrease in content. As seniors on a limited income, we have always enjoyed reading the paper, but the recent changes have made us consider canceling our subscription. We have also experienced missed deliveries twice a week without receiving any credit after reporting the issue. This situation is frustrating and I would like to address these concerns. Thank you.

For over 8 years, we have not received consistent monthly billing. This past Saturday, we received a bill for $53.73 for the paper. Along with irregular delivery services, we are reconsidering our subscription. When I call, our billing address number is not recognized, and we have to provide our telephone number. Despite being sent to the same address for over 8 years, the issue persists. Despite promises of correction, the problem remains. Our payment is made through April [redacted]. Starting May 1, [redacted], we are opting for Wednesday and Sunday delivery only, expecting reasonable pricing. Please confirm this adjustment.

For over 8 years, we've experienced irregular monthly billing and just this past Saturday, we were shocked to receive a bill for the newspaper totaling over $53. Coupled with the inconsistent delivery service, we are considering cancelling our subscription. It's frustrating that despite receiving bills monthly at our correct address, there seems to be an issue with recognizing it when we contact customer service. Despite assurances, this problem persists. We are currently paid up until the end of April for daily delivery, but starting May 1st, we would like to switch to Wednesday and Sunday delivery only. If these issues are not resolved, we may have to reconsider our subscription further down the line.

Regrettably, despite my long-standing recommendation of GetHuman, they were unable to assist me, much like the unhelpful customer service number at AZRepublic. Through my resourcefulness, I managed to find a direct phone number to a company representative and, after speaking with a helpful employee, they connected me to someone capable of providing a receipt within 24 hours. The company acknowledged their customer service challenges and expressed plans to improve. I am hopeful they will bring these services back in-house to Phoenix for better outcomes and job opportunities. I am grateful to the AZRepublic staff who resolved my issue effectively. Thank you. Original Issue: I require a receipt for my digital subscription, but previous attempts to obtain one through customer service failed. Despite multiple calls, I was met with varying unhelpful responses and promises that were not fulfilled. I was unable to reach a supervisor, leading me to believe it's a call center operations issue rather than direct contact with AZRepublic. An email address given to me bounced back as nonexistent. Simply put, I just need a receipt. Why is this process so challenging?

In January [redacted], I was contacted by a man offering a special deal for a Wednesday and Sunday paper at $8.55. I provided my credit card information but didn't see any charges on my Jan., Feb., and Mar. statements. Assuming no contract existed, I was surprised to find charges from Az Republic starting in April, totaling over $85 with no papers delivered. Despite contacting reps in the Philippines unsuccessfully and feeling very upset, I have already disputed these charges with my credit card company. The lack of customer service is disappointing, and it seems like the local customers' concerns are not being prioritized.

I was promised a one-year subscription starting in March [redacted] for $18 per month plus tax, totaling $19.23. However, in July, September, and now October, I have been charged $22.43 per month, which is unacceptable. The AZ Republic does not have the right to change my rate without my consent just because they have my credit card information. I will be contacting my card company to report this as fraudulent activity. While I understand it may be for the "premium edition," I did not request this upgrade. Regardless of any additional content, my monthly bill should remain $19.23. I am requesting a $9 credit to be applied to my card for the overcharges and expect future payments to reflect the agreed-upon amount. Thank you.

This is the sixth time I have contacted the AZ Republic about this problem with no resolution. The newspaper keeps being delivered to my driveway even though I did not order it, do not have an account, and do not want it. Despite assurances via phone and live chat that the delivery would cease, it persists. Repeated promises that the carrier and manager would be informed have not stopped the deliveries. Even after being told the complaint would be escalated to management and the carrier, the paper is still delivered. Enough is enough – please stop delivering the paper.

Dear Forum Members, approximately two years back, my husband, Dr. P. David Adelson, who heads BNI at PCH, engaged Blue Sky Pest Control to handle termite mitigation and protection at our residence. We invested a significant amount with a five-year warranty covering all structures on the property. Recently, a home inspector found active termites in our poolhouse. Upon contacting Blue Sky, they assured me the warranty is valid until summer [redacted]. However, when their representative treated the termites, he claimed it wasn't covered by our warranty. Despite requesting the supervisor to clarify, they mentioned treating only certain termite species. Feeling frustrated, I reached out to the owner, but received no response. The situation seems misleading, possibly a deceptive business tactic. I am eager for a resolution from Blue Sky Pest Control. Thank you. Sincerely, Barbara Jean Adelson

We have been loyal subscribers for a significant period, and we have reached a boiling point due to the repeated delivery issues with our newspaper. This week alone, it has not arrived four times, and last week, it was missed at least three times, including on a Sunday. We had a brief interaction with our delivery person, Sara Summers, who was kind enough to provide her contact information when we reached out about a missed delivery. Since then, despite our attempts to address the problem, the paper only occasionally arrives. At our age, 81 and 78, it is distressing to have to constantly fetch a newspaper from the local gas station after already paying for a subscription. While we cherish the tradition of receiving the paper we've had for 57 years, the inconsistent service is leading us to consider canceling our subscription and exploring online news options. We would appreciate a prompt resolution to this issue. Thank you, Margaret L. at [redacted] W Union Hills Dr. #[redacted], [redacted], Orangewood Village Mobile Home Park.

After returning from a 4-day vacation, I called Customer Service on Friday, June 12th to restart delivery of my newspaper. They said it would resume on June 21st but the Sunday issue didn't arrive. After calling, the paper was delivered later that day at 11:30 AM. However, it didn't show up on Monday or Tuesday despite reassurances when I called. Wednesday came, still no paper. I couldn't reach a human at Customer Service and considered drastic actions to draw attention to the issue. Instead, I decided to write a letter to the editor as a more rational approach. Hopefully, this will resolve the problem, and I'll receive my morning paper soon. Thank you for listening. Best regards, Bernard N. [redacted] E. Acoma Dr. Scottsdale, AZ [redacted]

Dear AZ Republic, I am writing to express our concerns regarding the recent notice about upcoming Premium Editions that will result in automatic charges. We have been loyal subscribers for many years, paying $59.46 per month for hard copy home delivery. Despite escalating subscription costs and declining content, we have remained supportive. However, being charged for Premium Editions without the option to opt-out is unacceptable to us. We believe this additional cost should be optional, similar to TV Guide subscriptions. If this policy is enforced, we will be forced to seek alternative news sources. We kindly request confirmation that we will not be charged for the upcoming Premium Editions. Failure to do so will result in the termination of our subscription. Sincerely, Fred B. [redacted] W. Quail Ave. Peoria, AZ [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]

I have contacted customer service twice concerning the increasing cost of my M-Sunday subscription with the Arizona Republic. Despite my requests to speak with a supervisor, the representatives mentioned no supervisors were available and promised a callback, which never happened. As a loyal subscriber for over 30 years, I have witnessed the paper growing smaller while the price continues to rise. Last year, my rate exceeded $61 until I spoke with a supervisor who adjusted it to $37.30. After remaining at that rate for 8 months, it has now crept up to $41.21. I discovered that new customers can secure the M-Sunday subscription for only $20 per month. I question the value the paper places on retaining loyal customers. I am hoping to connect with a supervisor who is not following a script. Can you provide me with the contact details for Editor-in-chief, Gary Burton, or the CEO of Gannett? I appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter as I am tired of the evasion. Thank you. Carol M.

Today was supposed to be the first day my paper was delivered to my townhouse. I was told it would arrive by 8:30 a.m., but by 9:30 a.m., I still hadn't received it. After calling, a recording said they would contact the delivery driver. At 1:30 p.m., I had yet to receive the paper, so I called again. The recording mentioned recent delivery problems and didn't provide further information. I tipped $4 to the delivery person to ensure a smooth delivery. I understand there could be various reasons for the delay, not necessarily the driver's fault. I expect to receive the Sunday paper I paid for, whether today or tomorrow. I prefer it placed by my front door for privacy, as previously instructed when placing the order. I hope for a resolution and no further issues. Thank you, R.M. [redacted]

I have been a loyal customer since [redacted]. I have consistently requested a plastic bag for my newspaper. In the past, I received sturdy gray bags, but lately, I am getting flimsy clear bags that tear easily. Despite the rising cost of the newspaper, the quality of service has diminished. This Sunday, my paper got soaking wet in the rain, forcing me to dry it on my car before reading. I believe that for the price I pay, it's not unreasonable to ask for the previous type of sturdy gray bags to be provided to the delivery staff. The thin bags are inadequate, and now my Sunday paper is scattered across my car. I hope my delivery person can revert to using the old reliable bags. This simple request for better bags is essential considering the price increase each year. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Dear Customer Service, I have made numerous attempts to cancel my newspaper subscription through both phone and live chat without success. Here is my formal request to cancel our subscription linked to our address at [redacted] E Laurel Ct, Casa Grande, AZ [redacted]. The phone numbers associated with this account are [redacted] and [redacted] (the latter is no longer active). We are charged $61.31 monthly for Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday papers through auto debit. I encountered difficulties with a phone representative who was unhelpful and disrespectful during a call on July 16th at 9:55 am (Mountain time) using [redacted]. Furthermore, my experience with the chat system was equally unsatisfactory. The supervisor's email provided, "[redacted]," turned out to be invalid. Despite being billed accurately, I am puzzled by the inability to locate my account for cancellation purposes. I am taking steps to halt auto payments with my bank. Please discontinue the deliveries immediately following my last payment on July 6th. Any future deliveries will be considered unwanted gifts. We have been loyal subscribers for nearly 8 years, and our parting should have been handled more amiably. Thank you for your prompt attention to this situation.

I am Howard Crown residing at [redacted] W Silverbell Rd in Pima County. On September 11, [redacted], I subscribed to the AZ Republic and the Arizona Daily Star. Today, the delivery person tossed 2 newspapers over the fence. Sadly, upon inspection, one was the Saturday edition of AZ Daily Star and the other was Friday's edition folded to conceal the name and date. Despite reporting the issue multiple times to customer service, the problem persists. You can reach me at [redacted].

I have been a loyal subscriber to the Republic for many years. Our morning delivery has been consistently good until recently. This is the second time in less than two weeks that the paper has not been delivered by 5:30am as usual. I reported this issue online to Azcentral the first time, but now I am so upset that I will be emailing and calling as well. We are paying almost $50 monthly for this service, so our expectations are high. I kindly request that you take whatever steps necessary to ensure our delivery service returns to its previous excellent standard. Thank you.
