I've had a TextNow account for over a year and a half, using it daily. Today, as I tried to log in (just used it at 4:00 yesterday), I received an incorrect password message. After going through the password reset process via email, upon trying to log in with the new password, it prompted me to create a phone number. Where did my existing number ([redacted]) go, along with all the messages tied to it? Please assist promptly as this is crucial for staying connected with parents and students during distance learning.

My TextNow number was unexpectedly recycled. I've been using the same number daily for a few years. On 12-22-[redacted], I was using it until 11 p.m. Suddenly, at midnight, I got logged out and couldn't log back in. After recovering my account and setting a new password, my contacts were still there but I had to get a new number. I'm confused because I used my number regularly. When people call my old number, it says it's disabled. I followed all TextNow rules, and I'm unsure why I had to change my number. I'm keen to find out how I can retrieve my old number.

I am currently unable to access my TextNow account as it is linked to my Apple email, and I am locked out of my Apple account with a pending wait time for account recovery instructions. Since TextNow requires logging in through Apple, I am at a standstill without access to my Apple account. I am unsure of the necessary steps to regain access to my TextNow account. Good morning, I opened the TextNow App on my phone and noticed that I had been signed out. Upon attempting to log back in, I encountered issues with my password, prompting me to reset it successfully. However, upon signing back in, I was assigned a new phone number. The previous number, [redacted], holds significant importance to me as it is linked to my side jobs and other accounts, and many individuals contact me through this number. I kindly request assistance in reclaiming my previous number as it is crucial to me. The new number assigned to me since Tuesday is [redacted]. Thank you.

I was using my TextNow app as usual, but it logged me out unexpectedly. I had to reset my password because it wasn't accepting my old one. However, after resetting, the app asked me to create a new phone number, claiming my old number expired or didn't exist. This is incorrect as I was using the app moments before. I have a question. Can an inmate call me using my TextNow number? My boyfriend tried to call from jail, but the call got disconnected when I accepted it. I know he has minutes, so I should be able to accept his calls. Why did it hang up? Also, I used to receive text messages from Google but not anymore. Will I receive texts from the jail? I need help because communicating this way is essential to me.

I need assistance as my phone was stolen on the night of 12/29/[redacted], and I had my TextNow app installed on it. After attempting to log into my account with the associated email address, I received a message stating that my account information doesn't exist. This is perplexing as I had used the phone shortly before it was taken. The phone number linked to my account is [redacted]. My phone was taken from me back in November. I can provide specific dates if needed. I rely on receiving a new stimulus check, and this is where my confirmation code will be sent. The phone is linked to my account. I am willing to provide the password that was used when it was hacked. I urgently need your assistance in sending a reset link to my new email address. Someone accessed my phone, messed with my TextNow app, and mistakenly linked my son's number to the account by using the wrong email address. I am unsure of any other changes made on my device. I originally obtained the phone and plan through TextNow, paying $9.99 per month for service. However, my account seems to be missing following this incident. The app now prompts me to choose a new number instead of accessing my existing one. I wish to restore my original account with my number. How can I resolve this issue?

My ex-boyfriend's new acquaintance accessed my phone during my absence and managed to compromise several of my accounts, including my crucial Google account containing a lot of important data and files. I had a backup email for it, which seems ineffective now. Additionally, my PayPal account, where my stimulus funds were deposited, is inaccessible. It does not redirect me to the reset link despite using the correct email address associated with the account. In another instance of intrusion, my primary TextNow account, tied to my phone number, has also been tampered with. Unfortunately, I can't reset the password because the recovery link is sent to another email address.

I recently reset my phone and now I'm unable to access my TextNow account due to a password issue. The password that was saved in my Google account is no longer working, even though neither my wife nor I changed it. After updating all my passwords for email, Facebook, and TextNow, I had a regrettable incident. I accidentally caused a fire in my house and when I woke up in the chaos, I couldn't recall my new passwords because I stored them where they got destroyed in the fire. Now, I am in a predicament where I am locked out of my TextNow account because I can't access my email or recovery email. Even signing onto TextNow through Facebook doesn't help as it gives me a new number instead of my old one. I'm feeling stuck without access to my accounts.

My TextNow and email accounts have been hacked into. Information was changed, including passwords. I purchased a TextNow SIM card that I couldn't get working. I was advised to factory reset my phone, and in the process, I backed up my phone without fully thinking it through. My email is linked to my iCloud account, but I have two-factor authentication set up. Unfortunately, I can't log in because I need a security code from TextNow for my email and vice versa. I discovered that TextNow doesn't have service in my area, and now I am locked out of all my accounts, including my free TextNow linked to my PayPal and bank accounts. I am unable to access my PayPal account due to the login code issue. I apologize for the mess. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide.

I recently purchased a SIM card but had trouble activating it on my iPad Pro. The online instructions didn't match the app's current user interface. Even though my device is listed as compatible on their site, I couldn't get past the ID# request. I even tried resetting the app to no avail. Eventually, I realized the ID# was on the cardboard the SIM card came in. Unfortunately, I deleted and redownloaded the app before discovering this, and now the activation message is gone. I've had my account for almost three years. Recently, my Galaxy A11 broke, and I can't access my Gmail ([redacted]) or my TextNow app because I forgot my password. I believe my phone number is [redacted], but I'm not sure if it's the most recent one. I created a new Gmail account, [redacted] I tried using my brother's name for my password, but it's not working. I might have changed it to my daughter's name, either Lenayah or LenaRana, but I can't remember. Please contact me for assistance.

One month ago, I began noticing an issue when attempting to delete a call log entry on my LG G6 Android phone. Each attempt results in an error message at the bottom of the screen, preventing the deletion of the log. The only solution I found is to access the app settings, navigate to storage, and delete the data and cache. However, this is a cumbersome process that involves signing back in and granting permissions to use TextNow again. Is there an alternative method to fix this recent glitch?

I have been unable to access my TextNow account for nearly 3 to 4 months. To recover it, I need to use an "actual working cell phone or landline number" to activate the new TextNow number, which I still remember. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the email linked to the account. I am desperate to regain access because everything important was tied to that TextNow number. The problem is, I am locked out of both my Gmail and TextNow accounts. To access my Gmail, I must enter a code sent to an emergency phone number saved on my Gmail account, which happens to be the TextNow number I can't access. To access the TextNow number, I need to click a link sent from TextNow to my Gmail, creating a frustrating cycle. I urgently need help to break free from this cycle as my whole life is linked to that TextNow number. I am willing to provide any necessary proof of ownership. Can anyone offer assistance?
